I am Boo-hooing right now. I am way behind, because my RL took off. I am super duper busy all of a sudden. All good.
I did not have time last night to read 6 or 7 pages of this thread to try and figure out what this event is about since the FAQ was still not out. I still do not have time or energy to read 13 pages of this thread and the very confusing FAQ.

Plus, I got zapped by this BP bug. I harvested 22K of EP this morning. Left the house for about 7 house. This should give me 18 hours to get the other 40K. But, no! BP had another glitch so the system finished level 1 as if I had no more time.

I do not know if I got a blueprint. Where to find it or how to use it. Is there time or is all hope lost?

Can someone succinctly tell me the important points of this event so I do not have to read this whole thread? I am sorry to ask. I usually read every post, but I just do not have the time this time.

I will happily give a ZAB & EM to whoever can completely and briefly tell me about the particulars of this event, Thanks!

It shouldn't matter. I believe BP has somehow fixed the bug such that your remaining time will be added back on. Check out the Technical Issues section, since several other players have had this issue and Mods have answered with resolutions.
Not all hope is lost. You can still complete the event, and you got a good start with your 22K EP. Also note that you can receive partial rewards for donating partial EP. That means you can earn less than 60K EP and get rewarded for what you do earn.
I believe the blueprints come from the second stage of this event, not the first. Even if you complete the first stage you will not get a blueprint.
We are given three blueprints. We need one to make a production pen in the workshop (look under the moles: it is the sail shop we need to build). Since we are given three blueprints we can build up to three of these sail shops. We then need to make 32 sails. The pen requires 1 mole feed for each sail, but no moles. All you need is the feed. 32 feed in total.

just woke up.
wait to harvest my Glitter poppies, yesterday, before bed, I think I do everything right.
Next day when I woke up, I could harvest all field as they will all mature.
But Not. stupid again. forget to check my water tower. I had used up when I water the
Glitter poppies on GM. So, there is around 40 plot without water,made me need to wait
30 min to have it mature. So, there is 40 plot -20% if I harvest now as dragon pet only
last for 20 min. To get every EP in all aspet. Thus, I must wait at least 16min to activate
my pet. So Bad...why I don't look at the water before I go to MG, I think I still not familar
with using more than 300 water for planting. GM always get half with animal stable. It
usually don't need to refill my water tower when I plant the crops.
I already remind me to refill the water everytime I water a field. Now, I forget once again
& get pinished for waiting.

Don't worry about the timed quest. Latest news is that all who experienced this problem will get full rewards tomorrow

Total requirements
10 000 sneezewort 4h crop
15 000 glitter poppies 8h crop
950 light strings, about 160 per day
32 windmill sails (requires 32 mole feed to produce)
3 sail shops

In stage two you will be awarded 3 blueprints. Build three sail shops in the city. Basic time is 5 hours, but with rune and water, the time is reduced to 3:14. They need to be fed with 1 mole feed (no moles). They produce windmill sails, of which you need 32, that is 11 rounds with the three workshops. In the last stage you donate the sail shops.

That's it really

Eeegads so many word have been written about something so simple. Simple, but frustrating. LOL!

Squiggle - Thanks for the info on the glitch. I have already posted in thr tech section and read enough to know that I was not alone.

BTW, I already finished section 2 and have built all 3 workshops. I will probable set them up in the mourning. I can use some PF if time gets short.

Mir, I sure hope we get credit. The bug hit 2 of my farms one of them is working now but the other still isn't. The one that started working wasn't a problem because I needed less than 12,000 ep more. The one still not working has no pets and I had to buy the ZAB and EM that is running. If they only fix the timer in the am (game time is 9 hrs ahead of my time) I'll surely fail there.
On a good note 3 farms completed the 1st part, 1 farm only needs about 1000 more ep and the last is in limbo.

Fortunately I didn't have any problems, have finished page one. Could finish page two, but then I wouldn't have enough glitter poppies to plant over night. So I will wait until tomorrow. Only need one more harvest of sneezewort. And 8 harvests of glitter poppies if I am not mistaken. Since I like growing 8h event crops, that suits me fine

Just did my second harvest and have 28035 EP with 20 and a half hours to go. Just planted 155 2x2 plots with Glitter poppy, complete with supergrow and Suzy's supergrow. That should get me to 47,379 EP. Then it will just take one more harvest of glitter poppies under the same conditions (plus water) to get to 60,000. I should be done by this evening thanks to the two kind people who send me CB. Then it's a matter of getting those thousands up. I'll CAC it on 1x1 plots. Will use my eggs to get the 48 hour harvester from the Gertrude's Organic Eggs quest. Had been saving that prize for a special occasion - if this doesn't call for a harvester what does?

 

Well, we made it! Step 1 that is... I was really sweating it. But some very generous people, who weren't even my neighbors, pitched in and helped me make it. I couldn't have done it without you. Through all of the excitement, I went from Level 35 to 40! Woohoo! I graduated! Now I can purchase artisan products AND help others as you all have helped me!

More like what a great team the entire community makes.

Everybody plays some part in figuring out how we can all do the event. Some of us make lists, others perform calculations, others offer their own strategies. Some gift spare buffs, others gift drops. Everybody has contributed in some way, and everybody has benefited in some way, even if it's just making a note of how we got where we got, what we plan to do etc. those are tips that are valid for many. That's the wonderful thing about this community - it is not every man for themselves. We have all helped, and many of us have BEEN helped by, each other.

 

It looks like I have one more harvest of Sneezeworts, on both farms, yippee. Where do they come up with these names? By bedtime I will have built my sailmakers. The strategy in here has been really helpful with all the problems this community has had with this event. Thank you very much.

I know I couldn't have done or attempted this event without the above the bar work by Mir. Alluntino, you're knowledge of the buffs and how best to use them was extremely helpful to me.
