Ugh, harvested all my overnight 1x1 glitter poppies to realise (at the END!) that I had forgotten to replenish my CAC. What a waste! But have plenty of time now that the timer has been extended. Drop rate was better with these overnight crops but now still need 429. It's concerning, but I think doable if I plant the right crops in the time I have left after finishing my poppies. Need 8 more windmill sails. They should be done late tonight and I can replace their spot with trees. I have already started putting a few trees out (have 40 trees out) in the hopes of increasing drops a bit. Managed to get upwards of 40 drops with this last harvest. Still not fantastic but better than what I've had.

 

Ironically, I got a light string drop when I harvested a Christmas Tree!

 

Just done the few on Baharama 41 1x1 and 19 2x1 got 10 lights not bad I think that all Thanks to you for letting me know about the trophies x x

I'm looking good to finish. Just need 71 lights and about 3400 poppy. I've got 3 truffle workshops out so have made some CCs with the advent of the new permanent quest.

 

I planted the 8h crops while I was AFK on Fri and Fri night. Started the timer and consumed the buffs on Sat morn. I got almost 20k /60k from first harvest of 8h crops. Not much in the way of pets for me. Too expensive. Somewhere around 3h after starting the timer is self-aborted and I got a popup. Spent the day growing all the 4h crops needed and finished my 24h with a round of 8h crops. STILL at this point it is not clear to me if I got all the goodies from the first challenge or not. *sigh* Bug Point strikes again...

I set out the event pens Sun morn and finished off the event crops. Been growing regular 4h crops w/ water and harvesting at same time as event pens. I have all the drops I need as of this morn. I'll be finished with the event in about 4h from now.

When I need drops I like to plant carnations w/ water and the two refinements, Green Love and Early Bloomer, my schedule permitting. Between the water and the refinements it turns an almost 19h crop into 13:01. Cutting the grow time by almost one-third. If I can't be around at that time I pick another long growing crop with a time that fits my schedule. I use 1x1s, mainly because of CAC, the improved drop rate is a side benefit. I have also have maxed out my LL rune. If I was really desperate for drops I would switch to roses, 2x2s and the refinement for SG. But I haven't done that in a long time and only if RL keeps me from the game.

It is my observation that...
Around three years ago Bug Point kept messing with the drop rate algorithm. One event they got it so bad that I, a low-med level farmer with low trophies, got a drop from ALMOST every 1x1! I think I finished that event. After that they stabilized the algorithm and only adjust the requirements. A daily average of less than 125 event drops per day for easy events. A daily average of more than 150 event drops per day for difficult event. Of course drops aren't the only factor that determines difficulty. Drops are one factor that eliminates a lot of people from finishing an event.

 

That should be easy enough to check, just see if you got the disguise shop

 

The way I do with an 8 hour event crop is do the event crop a couple nights. I then keep a chart with how many harvests needed to finish each of the event crops and plan my day and night. As soon as I can, I start planting regular long time crops overnight as they give much higher drops. I have done crops just below carnations the last 2 nights and almost got my drops, still need 16, and finished the event crops last night. I have some roses coming next and will most likely finish in a half an hour. The event crops didn't drop too many lights, but the crops at 12 hours and above always drop more lights for me.

 

I am finished on this farm, on harvesting the row, leveled up Baha. I need a little less than 100 drops for my little farm. I'm not worried.

Last crop of Poppies cooking right now. A little over 100 lights needed. I'm a-gonna make it! Woohoo! Normal crops tomorrow. It's a good thing, too. I leveled up so much during this Event that I have a whole slew of new crops to discover!

 

Few more batches of poppies to go - 3, 4 at the most. Still concerned about drops, although my drop rate was much better this time. Only have 83 of my needed 450 though.

 

I finished the Quest tonight/this morning. Looked at the counter for the light strings and saw 451 !
Putting out the trees and pens again really helped my drop rate.

 

Yay finished level 3 lol should manage to get level 4 done as well no chance for 5 but am pleased I got this far for my 1st timed task and hopefully with all the tips you have all given I may manage the next timed task lol Thank you all again and

I have Finally Completed the Comic Event 6, I did get all of The Event Crops Two Days Ago, it was the drops of String Lights that I was short on in last two days needed Late Running of MM Event. By the Time is started Manure was already expensive. So used little manure during this event is does help speed up your drops just like water.

Water and Manure are the only two that helps your crops growing time that only cost CC. Water and Manure cannot be used on Trees, so I dont put out my Trees during these kinds of Events Secondly Trees are not that effective getting Drops cos they take 20 hours to grow. Also there is not a Rune that helps reduce the Trees growing time either. This is the reason i not use Trees as I am crops hoarder Farmer who use CAC nearly all the time.

I did do a Posting in old forum Called How to Boost Your Drop Rates....But I have not a clue how we can make it a sticky in this new Forum to help all those to Enhanced Their Drop Rates. I also did a posting on How to Maximize Drops Prior to Event Starting too.5
I not sure that Escondilla, or Arrouquelas or Aluntino did a posting on How to Boost Drop Rates. There is an SOS Thread always created by Illy1996 for every event asking for drop items to be send to those struggling to get Drops during events. For Various reasons unable to sign into the Farm, Big Point Server Crashes, Their computer is riddle with viruses, or cannot afford to get new computer. Too Much RL hampering the intentions to harvest your farms, trying to prevent your farms being Idle, Forgotten to Eat activate Buffs before harvesting you farm. Planted the Wrong Crops or Even Faulty Event Scripts too which happen a few times in this Game.

We are Due to have A Bonus Code for this Event. I have Checked the forum does not seem to be one yet, but this event had been extended, as this does help those who are struggling to get 950 Light Strings needed for this Event

Want to Say a Huge Thanks all those who have been kind enough to help others and Newbies to be able at least complete the first level of this Event which was very rewarding even to very low level farmers, which is nice. But is was fairly hard to all of us to get 950 Lights Strings.

I am Happy that i have unlock the cloud row get another 8080 Bahamamram EP, every time i active that cloud, There are way too many cloud rows for me to click to activate the cloud rewards, as we could do with a new feature to that activated the clouds rows all of them with 1 simple click....When we will be getting this feature who knows ???

I am not back to hoarding as my CAC is still running. I got a fair amount of Party Spins, So i Wonder what Great Rewards shall it Bring

 

I'm done since yesterday. Mystery seedling and stables were awful. The only thing worth a note was an XXL salt tree. It was actually the only rare/special tree or stable I got. 1 out of 7 is frustrating...
But it's great to have another B-EP cloud row!
I kinda liked this event. There were many things to do.
However, the fact that requirements were not "balancedly" spread among all levels made this a tough one for planning by low-mid level players. For instance, one could easily have all crops but unable to advance because of the windmill sails being only on two levels.

I've got all my drops! Everything except the 700 poppies that are in the ground. Now to re-stock and prep for Thursday!

 

Hi! I am not sure where to post this, so if I am wrong I apologize. Due to some sort of glitch I cannot buy the basket or light strings and I don't think I will manage to get enough to finish.
I have all the crops and I'm still planting to get the drops, BP is working on fixing the glitch so that I can buy the basket and some lights, but I need to ask for help. Could anyone at all...lol...gift me a light string or 2?
