Just to let you know, I finished as well! Woo Hoo!

 

Ugh, once again, harvested a whole field before remembering CAC. Wouldn't have been a big deal as I remembered for the remaining fields, but I should have just finished my crops. Now I need to do another lot. So in magical glade with water, may have to stay up late to harvest and plant an overnight crop. Trying my luck with quick low level crops to get a few drops quickly, but obviously the drop rate is dreadful. Got one from a batch of lettuces though! Still need heaps more drops. It's a race against time really.

 

I finally finished the event! Now I can go to bed!

 

did the same but remembered before i harvested half field but now i have to filed 40 more 1x1 field..

 

Finished yesterday and got a red beehive and the 6th cat .... very happy with the red bee
The trees : 2 x XXL salt, 1 x XXL Rowan, 1 x XXL Almond and a Fullmoon Maple.

I have just finished on this farm - good timing on the drops for original event end time lol!

For those who don't know me, I rarely set my farm up for an event as I can never wait to harvest - events usually start six hours after I get up and, if I am not working, I can't just sit here without farming! I just go for it, hoping the doGs* are with me! It worked on this farm but baby farm is happy for the event extention lol! Not many left to get but will probably finish tomorrow morning.

I finished yesterday evening. Yipee! Thanks again Mir and everyone else for your support and help.

For me, I take it more as a compensation for initial problems in last MM than for those I didn't have in any of my 3 farms during Comic6 -but I know many did-.

But I also take as a unique opportunity to grab from mkt at rock bottom prices some (as many as possible) of those beautiful ZABs, EMs and SprWrs too many players will flood the mkt with, clueless on how to price them and endlessly willing to undercut the first bid they see. I really thank BP when they decide these giveaways for the guaranteed long lasting effect of getting them so cheap from mkt. It'll save me loads of ingredients.....

So this morning I harvest a crop of rye in the glade..... 25 light strings.

Phew! That was a close one but I finally finished the event!

Thank you to all who contributed to this thread. This event was a huge learning experience for me and I found everyone's advice invaluable. I doubt I would've even attempted this event if it weren't for the guidance and support from the more experienced farmers in this community.

 

Finished this morning - and those lights are falling like rain now!

Don't forget to go to the SOS thread (Game Related Chitchat) if you are nearly there but lacking a few light strings (and please post there to say you have finished so people can send to those who haven't).

 

Well I had to get up a couple times during the night to harvest, but yes I made it! doing the happy dance! Thank you neighbors for gifting the drops, could not have done it without you! And I big thank you to all that came together to make this event alot easier and to the mods for the Bonus Code, you are all awsome Congrats to all who finished and good luck to those who are still working on event.
