Cuckoo6 and Cuckoo Cloudrow

I've approached this Cuckoo event in the same way as I have the others – go after the bright and colourful pens/workshops and then take the rest of the quest in my stride, picking the cherries out of the cake. I just got my first EP giver today, forget what it’s called but it’s from the latest event, and I’m now working on the upgrade (only because it gives BEP). In the meantime my hunt for a Picasso continues.

A worry I've noticed though is that my stock of Pheromones is slowly dwindling. I think I once had 32 trees but as they were excellent trade value on the “Express train” I only have 8 left. Although they are constantly out, I've gone through nearly 1000 today, so will be on the lookout for cheep bargains in the market.
Oh how I kick myself for sending away that many on the train

I have had a horrible time with this event. My biggest problem was me. I was too busy to read the FAQ or this thread. I had no RM for PF so I did not breed how I normal breed which turned out to be a mistake. I wanted the cloud row not realizing that I needed to finish all 4 events in order to use it. I breed to be the last bee Cuckoo so I could get the cloud row not knowing that all I had to do was unlock a rune to get. If I had done that I could have easily finished this event. Right now I am on pins and needles to see if I can get 2 Punkos with my last 7 PF. Miracles can happen. LOL!

Thanks to all my neighbors who bought the large new PF packs. I would not have gotten as far as I did without all that extra PF.

Even, if I do finish this event enough to get the Mission Impunkooble. I am no were close to finishing Cuckoo Kids in order to get Mama Cuckoo II. Now, I am stuck with a grayed out cloud row and you'all now how much I hate a grayed out cloud row. Yickes! A consent reminder of today's many blunders.

I think you and I will never have a chance to catch up as long as they keep bringing new quests out.

 

Thanks Hatzeva for the shoulder. It helped, because I got a Punko from a skip. I am still 1 Mustachio from completing this whole event. At least now, I have 3 out of the 4 EP Givers needed. I think. My Mud Rites is missing. I asked the Mods to help me figure out what happened to it. I hope I find it since I finished that event completely.

I am not able to get any Punkoos on either of my farms during this IV Cuckoo Quest...it strange that i got Cuckoo Bees instead of Punkoos as I needed 6 Punkoos to Complete Level 5 of Cuckoo IV Quest

The Cloud Row is not Appealing to me as it needs four cloud row items to activate the cloud, But have to harvest it every 8 Hours that Three Times a day as JJenks was saying can Reap Bahm EP 15x Your Island Level 3 times per day.

These Cloud Rows are becoming Loathsome with all the extra clicking would be great to have some cloud row pet that activate all these cloud rows with one click

I am Holding onto the Cuckoo Bees for Better Future Cuckoo Quests....As usiit seem we are getting a Cuckoo Quest every two months....The Latest Cuckoo Quest is more rewarding than Previous Quests....

I am Wondering is Future Cuckoo Quests will get bit better than previous Cuckoo Quests....The First Cuckoo Quest is the most least appealling out of all the Cuckoo Quests do to high Number of Breeding Cuckoos and Power Feeds it takes to complete that quest

I am only donating Breeding Cuckoos to parts of the Quest that is worth doing, Mainly the ones That Refunds me the Power feeds i have spend....this time is was worth getting the Misson Impuckooble I Put it in your shipwreck if you are unable to unlock the cloud row

Aluntino it was easier for me to get Bee Cuckoos than Punkoos at least each Bee Cuckoo is worth 4 Punkoos.

I am going to do some Animal Breeding to see if i can complete the Goat Breeding Quest, But Might hold onto my Instructor Goats for Future Quest as i do not want to regret using them just to complete Goat Breeding as you can see from Soup Friends quest you get great rewards.

On my Other Farm is cost too many Power Feeds to be able to do well with Breeding Quests, since i do not spend money on that farm, as it seem those who are in the same boat as me on that farm it makes more sense to user Power Feeds on Cuckoo Breeding Mainly it is because you can get a lot Power Feeds Refunded.

 

Okay, so I am still dabbling on this farm. I only need 4 Punkoos to finish Covert Cuckoos and that will be the latest three FSQs finished on my second farm. Unbelievable!

That just leaves Cuckoo Kids and I need heaps for that: 80 Rabbit Ears, 30 Mustachioed and 15 Punkoos. Now strategy next time, do I finish the Kids and then tackle the new quest (if there is another one) or the other way round? Irrelevant really cos I will probably change my mind/forget I even had a strategy by the next Cuckoo event lol!

Illy is so far behind, can't understand it!

 

Wow! Congrats CF for doing so well with the cuckoos! My 2nd farm has yet to finish any of them! Skips are not good so I would need more PF to continue.

 

Had very good luck with skips this cuckoo event. Was able to complete all cuckoo quests, past and present, and set up my cloud row. Very happy.

I completed the event and have my cloud row up! Now to stock up some cuckoos for the next cuckoo event as I'm all caught up.


Edit: Oh, and breed some more regular animals while it is BBD!

 

I didn't have any problems getting the quest finished on this farm. In fact my first round with 27 pens, all regular cuckoos gave me 3 bees and 3 punkoos. Now my other farms had a horrible time and I'm not even close on any of them. My PF just didn't hold up and without skips, I'm sure not buying any.

 

Is it just me... I'm not bothering with Cuckoo breeding but breeding other animals and the jumps (skips) are none existent for other animals, even with runes opened.. Waste of BB's

 

All bee-cuckoos stubbornly kept on hiding from me.

St. Skips intercessions were not enticing enough for them, darn picky heretic beasts.

But it seems one of them either got moved or was distracted and popped up from its trench right in the very last breeding round.

So, I'm now only short of 5 bee-cuckoos + the ones they'll ask for in Cuckoo5 (why on Earth have I written "Cuckoo6" in this thread's title...?). The toll keeps growing.

There are so many, who can keep track? Congratulations to all who had good skips, to all who got some lovely prizes and good luck to those still working. Thankfully (I guess) they will return again if you did not get it all done. Now time to make your mill smoke from milling all that PF for next time!

 

I need one more Punko to completely finish the Cuckoo Secret. I'll be able to get the Impunkinooblelacious (whatever that thing is). And I accomplished first two steps of C4C and Covert Cuckoo completely. Didn't meet my goals, but once I started, I realized they were way far out for a first timer.

However, I'm pretty happy with the results of this event. Learned a lot of lessons.

Next time I know what I'll be doing. I hope.

I start cuckoo lately, Because I try to breed some pig.
I had one flying pig, I see if I could get some good skip but the result is just plain.
After seeing much of you could done the Cuckoo secert. I change my mind & try
to breed some cuckoo. result is quite good as i could get a Punkoo in basic whereas
I never got such skip on pig.......
I had done LV2 all, LV3: S&G, LV4: S&G, LV5: S, LV6 : S
the remain Lv, due to BBD over, they will be keep for next cuckoo event.
