Bring back some older events

Seems farmerama has been around long enough that many players have not done the older quests and even those who did them might enjoy a few repeats.

Among other issues, I know I am not the only one with empty cloud rows that I would like to fill.

 

I agree. Also, there are certain recipes that are no longer available to players as they were rewards from past events and are not purchasable in the shop. If they do not bring back the events they should at least make these recipes available in the shop. It is not fair that some players should miss out permanently on something as important as a recipe simply because they joined later or couldn't take part when it was an event.

Oh, yes and I remember the good old times when recipes could be won on the wheel. How about offering them as possible rewards of the party spins.

woody I like your idea and I believe that some older events need to be repeated because they were really interesting and the new players would like to try them.

 

What about bringing back the M6-coin quest?
I loved that quest. No thinking, no strategy, just harvest and the coins dropped all over your farm. All you had to do, was to donate them to get nice rewards.
It would be really nice to get some golden bananas as a reward if BP decides to bring it back.

 

I agree too, some of the old events would be good for newer players. I would like to see the Nublon machine back in action as it was a good way to use surplus goods and harvest Renzo chips and G&T vouchers in return.

Yes, I am all for that. And sometimes I even look today at my leftover M-6 Coins in the barn... They are like a souvenir.
And I just found out in the German Forum that there was indeed a great breeding quest where you didn't need SF. But needed to grow the crops. Very interesting math (and you didn't need to use the mill either).

I still remember that balancing out the planting of the necessary crops with the breeding was more challenging.

And everybody could be a part of it. Even people that didn't open up breeding yet (accessible from level 1).
The busy people could at least grow some Terrorplant on Comfortfields and then occasionally breed a couple of chickens to pay into the quest (was fun no stress).
Lots of time. Casual. Fun and no pressure.
I would like to see more events like that, instead of Terrorplant: 8 hours? maybe... more amounts... get the whip out... for 40 SG

 

They could even just redo the M6 quest and either just require double the prior items or have newer/higher level items. Call it "M6, page 2" or something.

 

One event I would like to see ( one I missed for some reason, probably no internet) is the bahamarama coffee break.

 

Must have come before I joined or when I was too "young" to do the event.

One I would like to see repeated is the music box one-- the one that offered the carousel, etc. My cloud row stands empty because I had no idea that you had to get the deco items to make the row active.

 

sorry if i am wrong i just did check up and i did see all recipes that i miss was in 2011 year events so i would like to see back events where we can get recipes and not buy them for 100 BB

 

Repeatable quests would be cool.

I didn't make the post. In the comics is it random crops? And I need more time, not enough time.

 

The requirements for the Comics are determined based on your farm level. <-- taken from the {FAQ} Comic Library. The crops are random to a certain extent - you don't know what you may be asked for, but it is determined logically by your farm level.
Also, these comics run for 72 hours. Surely this is enough time - and if not, you can end the comic and anything you've delivered without being rewarded for will return to your inventory.

I'm sorry. I must have misunderstood you. When you said "repeatable quests", I thought you meant quests that could be played over and over again, like the comics. Other players were talking about recurring events that come around for a period of time, end, and return next month or every few months - like MM - hence why I thought your post was a separate suggestion. I think this is an issue of wording.

 

I have been looking for a post on the comics about repeating them. This is as close as I can find.It would be wonderful if the comics were offered again at some point. They offer some rewards that you can't get anywhere else. If you weren't playing or didn't have the resources at that time , you are just out of luck. I think it would be very fair & make the game more fun. ...Hope it is considered.
