all these maybe are for an upcoming winter event,but I can't understand what the last two are...

 

I agree, I wonder if that means a new pet ? The animal pic looks like a cross between a cat and squirrel..( but it's cute none the less) is that a new animal stable or possibility the pet ?

I can not tell what the last 2 pictures are either..their too tiny or my eyes are tired..

 

the "sprinkly" colors could be fireworks. Next to it, looks like a coil of wires and wood sticks. But, what can you do with it?

 

Hi Maybe we are going to have build a fence of some kind either to keep animals in or out.

I think there will be a new "flying squirrel egg-pet" to go on the island. And a new xmas tree that gives us balls(ornaments???) ...............according to --- *edited non-official fan page*

I can see CAC, super grow and a paint brush in the corner?

 

It looks like the paintbrush is in some paint, but there are also sugar cookies sprinkled around... perhaps really thin cookie icing (drop item?)

The event crop looks like something that would be nice to paint and incorporate into Christmas wreaths, but with my luck it's probably a spice for the cookies lol! (Can't I use it for both??)

I hope the pet (must have snuck inside with the freshly cut tree!) is an event reward! If so, I must remember to place in my island park (not regular park) to collect that extra BEP when it hatches! Although perhaps the flying squirrel it is different from the tree - as according to Brookeham, the tree is rumored to give ornaments! (??) Although I don't always believe all the rumors I hear these days...
As for the pictures: I do wonder if perhaps Santa will be having trouble with his sleigh again this year...?

I think these guys are a reindeer camel and a surfer monkey! (I do hope no events require island breeding animals - and just need plain camels and monkeys (or maybe an event will give them as a BEP-giving rewards to help us get ready for the coral reef...!)

 

Boy....Ariel and CJAT...you 2 sure have good eyes!!! I had not seen the paintbrush or sugar cookies(in a star shape). We have a crops/tree of Christmas tree ornament...but NO product...so maybe this tree will give us actual ornaments to decorate with?

Thanks for the reminder CJAT, Santa's sleigh does always need fixing each year.....so maybe those are twine/rope and wire to hold it together so he can deliver all the presents!!!
I have absolutely no idea what the camel or monkey will be needed for????

Maybe the flying squirrel will give us extra fuzzles gifts! (Although a flying squirrel pet from the Advent Calendar would be a pretty nice Christmas surprise too!)

@Brookeham ~ best be stocking up on tools for Santa's sleigh (use those refinements to gather them in fast!) Those pictures remind me most of potential drop items... perhaps sleigh repair parts and smashed sleigh bulbs?? (Perhaps SAnta is going to crash into the town square and into a decorated Christmas tree and smash all the ornaments!


I don't know... if so maybe we would have to mill the smashed shards (or better yet -> cook 'em in our bakery or confectionery to return them to their non-smashed, re-melted and restored state??) Although that would certainly be a completely new and interesting twist to the game so I rather doubt it!


@shodack78 ~ what can you tell us about star anise?? I think I've heard the name but that's about all!

 

I know it grows in warm climates only (doesn't tolerate frost), and is used as a common spice in many Asian countries. Similar taste to regular anise, has a licorice flavor, so could also be used in baking. That's pretty much all I know!

 

Yummm... spicy licorice cookies (related to gingerbread) with white frosting sound very Christmasy!

Especially one has hot cocoa to go with...! (In limited doses of course!)

shodack - Thanks for the info on anise. I've heard of it....but knew absolutely nothing else....so it's probably for the cookies?

I have tons of tools (I loves 'em so - and the refinements that gave them to me!) As my neighbor, you know you are always more than welcome to come borrow some! I know you get so distracted with the cooking you do that you normally only "borrow" sugar, so I'm guessing that you must usually leave the fixin' to the hubby, but if you ever change your mind....!


I wonder if the flying squirrel's red nose is to hint that he is related to Rudolf?? Maybe he is the reason Santa crashes his sleigh this Christmas!? He gets so excited to be hitching a ride with Santa as a stowaway that he starts scampering all over and chirping in great happiness, he jumps up, gets caught by a gust of wind and then suddenly Santa is flying blind...!! {{CRASH}}

 

Maybe Santa was flying low to land at the farm and that squirrel was so exited and jumping high. While doing that he crashed into the sleigh or the sack with the gifts, that it fell down. Now we need to help with the picking up of the gifts. (or collect them in the city/farm)
