I keep getting 61 mouse rockets when I add it up, not 81. Maybe I'm missing something

We will have 3 drop items, and we need them in exact proportion, in order to make enough mouse rockets.

This is the first time i see announcement so early before actual event. That will give us more then enough time to breed those animals, and maybe even harvest Baha crops (for those who don't have them in stock).

 

Well, Hibiscus puts me out of the running to finish so I will bypass those two levels and get as much as I can from the rest on this farm. All I need, apart from the event items, is Emu Ostriches - and they have suddenly disappeared from the market. Wonder why?

Good to have info so early on so strategies can be planned, scrapped and planned again! All that lovely BEP!

 

I won't be able to do this event for all of the days. I will be traveling on vacation.

I think you are right

 

BW does not have aloe vera, hibiscus or any of the required breeding animals so I am leaning toward Chevrefeuille's strategy of just doing the levels that I can for the PF and BEP. Here on pnp, the animals that I need a few of are already gone from the market so I will need to do a little breeding because I know once they come back on the market, they will be out of my acceptable buy price. I guess I will also tear down all fields to grow the 16k event crop to maximize my CAC and time. Have plans for New Year's and would like to get as much done before leaving town.

Good luck! This will be a good event for those who cannot complete it to sell crops/animals (either breeding or base) needed as well as manure to make some good CC.

 

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place......I need to Level up once then I have 43 GB...now...do I use it to unlock Hibiscus or do I use it for the Moringa Pod Statue, like I wanted to, for the Recipe......

 

I wondered yesterday when I saw House Turkeys disappear from the market what had happened.
I made quite a few CCs selling level 1 breeders.
I too am short of having Chamber 8 of Baha open and need 9 more levels (45GBs) to reach and unlock the Hibiscus.
Another Cloud Row? I hope they get that promised CR harvester going soon!

I bought 7 clown fish. Why oh why I bred them during last Baby Boom Day? If not I didn't have to buy those 7 clown fish.
I refuse to breed. Wanna save my Power Feeds for upcoming breeding quests. Glad that I have enough hibiscus and Zucchinis. I bought 300 Aloe Vera and 100 Cassava. Am happy to raise monkeys and elephants at this moment. Stock up elephants for elephant breeding though.

I don't have hibiscus either Guess I will spend 42 GB to unlock cactus and hibiscus, but then I will only have 10 GB left

On the bright side: I have all the breeding animals required Have been buying/breeding just in case, since they seem to be required all the time now

one thing you must keep in mind
coral reef may be delayed but we may have new breeding bahamarama i.e chameleon which may cost 40-45 GB
so u may save GB for that event rather than hibiscus
at least that is what i am gona do

 

From my point of view, 2 things will be most important to finish this event:

1 - best possible starting drop rate
which means planting longest available crop, on comfort fields 1 or 2 days upfront (if needed)
+ highest EP workshops & trees
whichever combination gives largest EP per place.

2 - start milling asap
without a buff, or rune, it will take 91:30h to mill all those rockets
and whole event will last 144h

I may be wrong with this approach, but let's see.

 

I don't have hibiscus opened, either, and I'm too far away from it to make that happen, but I hate to have an empty cloud row. The FAQ page says that you can use BBs to complete a level. Does anyone know if you can do that for a plant that you don't have opened yet?

 

Yes, you can. But finishing event with BB is extreeeeeemely costly. Higher levels will require 3 digit amount, for each task.

 

Looks like I wont stress about getting too far with this one, I don't have the breeding animals, and I don't have some of the crops open. I'm saving to open a level and then to open 4th section of the field. I'll be glad to get whatever BEP I can! And besides, I'm wiped out from these last two events, this mama needs a break!

Are we sure the chameleon is going to be solely a baha animal???

I sure wish the Producers newsletter would have given us more of probable date and cost of the coral reef....this hoarding of GB's and anticipation is starting to get old!

 

In 3.5y of playing this has to be the earliest we've ever gotten the FAQ.

All three of my farms... same story... need all the clown fish. Hope we have a BBD this weekend.
I have all the Baha crops in stock already.
As for average drop rates... toward the midrange of requirements.
sparkling sand -- 723 /6= 121 minimum average per day
wood sticks -- 687 /6= 115
mouse masks -- 673 /6= 113

It's going to take almost 4 days to get all the milling done. Unless the rune reduces time. I'll start milling the morning of the second day.

16k /6 is 2667 event crops /day. I can do that using CAC with 3 fields, 2 rounds per day, long crop at night for rest.
I'll probably finish the event day 5 or 6 at that pace. I do have at least one AFK day in that period that will interfere with getting two event crops in one day.

Those are low daily averages for the drops, below 100 per day. So the tough part of this event won't be the drops but the hibiscus and the bred animals. Looks like BBD is going to be the following weekend. I'll have to do some nonBBD breeding to get those fishies. UGH!!!
