    The newly announced quest illustrates another advantage of acquiring tree fruit on a % of exchange basis blindly across the board while preparing for TOP 1000 donation.

    Some tree fruit acquired for donation purposes, and now asked for with the new quest, just happened to fall so low that they met my give away requirement. Did not touch hundreds of thousands of rare tree fruit when donating though. Now a quest calling for it and $$$$$$$ ..... again.

    Some of the called for tree fruit I hold less than 600 and it is profitable now to dump it. And this is where feelings come/came in. The math procedures used simply did not justify acquisition. Feelings caused me not to totally ignore. The increases in prices can generally be spotted if one scans their market often enough. For exact analysis .... exchange value analysis required.

    Just as buying now, the tree fruit required for the quest causes one to overpay, the same is generally true when buying for any new quest or event depending on barn supplies, this is not always true.

    As discussed previously, and not received well and with much good reason for doubt, pink jelly which was discussed when acquisition could be made at 400 and under is now stable at over 2100 on this market. The cloud row awarded with the current event is leading some to reconsider its value while breeding. Even 2100 is under production cost.

    If using pink jelly, you might consider your options of buying versus making. Buying for investment purposes is a little more risky now. I'll hold at 3000 in stock and move on to another investment. Maximizing profits will be slow while dumping it.

    Wonder if I could list 3000 pink jelly in one lot and triple my investment and let another bother with the change? Something to think about.

    You may make investment on pink jelly. Yes, a wise choice because the price will be slowly increasing.
    But I would suggest you something more profitable than pink jelly.

    You wonder what? I say "Rare animals segment and their feeds"

    You ask which one? I say "Grab 'em all"

    You say it is too risky! I say "Yes if you fail to control the playground, not if you understand the opportunities"

    You ask why? I say "Sorry it's very confidential. Private top secret"

    You asked this truth? I say "Fine. I'll go with you or without you. Wanna play?"

    I'm out of here. I let you thought out carefully!

    @SillyGuy

    Aweeeeeeeeee, come on SillyGuy, you can tell us why.

    I'm prepared for many games on the rare animal play ground. Just waiting on folks to show up.

    I'll put out 12,000 skunks just to clear the air. :)

    Rare animal feed! Let me just say this: If someone were to buy the mill subscription, and began milling bat feed today, they just might have enough to play with me in the year ...... this is 2014 ........ well mid 2016. If their mill never stopped.

    And I'll put out another 12,000 owl just to keep an eye on things at night while we play.o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

    And I'll just keep the dogs and kangaroos and ..... secret for now. :sleepy:

    Hey, if you wanna play cards, let's open with 30,000 peacock. 8)8)

    And when our playmates finish milling bat feed, let um mill another 35,000 kangaroo feed for kicks.

    Did you forget to tell me about the rare breeding animals? I think you're trying to play tricks on me. :music:

    Why in the world do you suggest rare animals on the play ground?

    I'll bring enough moose and a few thousand hit singles so we can listen to the music and maybe shake a leg. ;)

    You're always up to something SillyGuy! :)

    Do you think I would put all 128,000 eggs in one basket and only play with some Pink Jelly?

    Think I'll buy a little more hay.

    And looks like 700,000 oats will be enough to make it through this event. Sell it only to buy it again.

    Beautiful scenery while waiting for IT to arrive. I wonder if you also come into play? It may also be others. xDxD
    Our community is quite strong. Not wrong, we are always at the forefront!

    @igotfrogs

    If you know how much amount of CC in his account, you must laugh because there is always empty. He was not kidding. :music:
    But if he sells the entire contents of the barn, you would not expect if the number is a million times from yours. :mad::mad::mad: DANG!!! It was too much..... :wuerg::wuerg:xDxD

    :(6 -:cry::cry::cry: Only 1 cc. Exactly like puppiesnponies said. :cry::cry:
    :cry::cry: But I don't feel any better :cry::cry::cry:

    That sign! It keeps appearing. I hate it. Shucks, you don't have enough money! <------ I hate it :cry::cry::cry::cry:

    I don't feel any better having 1CC. There is nothing to buy for 1cc but water.

    Congratulations on making it. There is a post above were Solotime and I are discussing the Top 1000 and the pros and cons of going unprepared. I have seen others and the regrouping process is not very pretty. You can do it though and it will take a little time. I know it was your choice and again I congratulate you.

    I have spoken with 2 others who made it and both were buying during the event to make it and even worse, they could not remain.

    I think your regrouping story is one I hope you will share with all.

    @SillyGuy

    Yes I am playing on the feed playground. Many keep less than 400 of any animal feed and therefore cannot play the feed market. This farm is well prepared to profit from the play and has done well.

    Have a couple of baby farms with over 100,000 feed but not in the right places to profit well.

    The glitch I saw when clicking on the farmers society said "Quest of the Holy Grail." It did appear though.

    Still moving slowly and want to get back into the grind of playing everything like lettuce and not having the luxury of massive ccs to look at. Oh the things we are capable of when we have nothing are truly amazing.

    And by the way, have you been snooping around my barn? Be careful if you come back, I'm going to let loose 12,000 skunk to give you a wiff.

    ----Edit----

    Quite a few a bidding up prices for Kangaroo. And it is noticeable! Exchange is only 145 and the animal is no good for the animal trophy. There are not enough present quests to bid up the price. It is a rare animal. Pens for available for BB. Feed has risen slightly and takes a while to mill. I will say there are enough pens in the hands of farmers to consider them as a breeding animal prospect.

    Squirrel have been up for too long also. Feed cheap and ittle movement.

    @solotime

    Remember that rooster feed? 8)8)8)8)8) Didn't have to wait too long. 6 - 700 cc a pop profit.

    Believe Aluntino and I were discussiong and laughing about it. xDxDxD No longer a laughing matter. 8)8)8)8)8)

    Stand one's ground, comrade!
    Slowly but surely. Roads are dangerous and deadly.
    If not delayed, big wave will come from the beggining of February, it was our day.

    "Wolves still in the cave, the bear was still asleep in the tree house, and other small animals hide in when it snows. But a hunter always seek and hunt their prey without mercy, he has to feed his belly. Build for life!"
    That's my killer instinct.

    Deep pocket? Absolutely I'll take it... :music:

    Feed prices are so inflated which show that mills cannot keep up with demand. Understanding quantity and price is very important on any market. With baby farms I keep in mind that no one is going to let me come in and just take control of their market in most areas. With supply, and the baby farms generally do not, I am forced to wait. On the bright side, almost any feed is profitable to sell though.

    If one cannot maintain a position due to supply being low, simply sell for what you can get and leave. On my smaller farms, I know some just wait until I sell my cheap stock, even though profitable, and get out of the way. They know I cannot last.

    In pricing keep in mind that selling in smaller quantities may yield a higher price with ore profit and a better return. On the downside, this practice will take much longer to sell large stocks of items.

    Buying and listing at the same time works well if one has CCs to do so. One disadvantage is that ccs will be tied up.

    This feed furry cannot last unless boosted by developers and they are moving in many many areas now.

    If milling feed and have stock in one area and judge it to be unnecessarily high, one may reduce the stock through milling, sell what is milled, and reposition the ccs obtained.

    ----edit----
    :cry::cry::cry: puppiesnponies I have one lonely cc :cry::cry::cry: Hope you are proud of me now. Christmas Night and one lonely cc. :cry::cry::cry: Just enough to buy water. :cry::cry::cry:

    I need a plan to make some ccs now. I'm off to a good start thanks to you.

    ----edit 2----
    :):) puppiesnponies I feel so much better now. A quick 2.2 million ccs brought a smile to my face. I think you are right: save 1 cc for water. :):)

    Now to do some after Christmas Shopping! xDxDxD

    broke - you keep me laughing over being flat broke. You can turn those CC fast and will not be broke any longer than it takes me to finish typing this response.

    For those who do read this thread and do need to know how to make CC:
    Events are great ways to make CC as well as the newly released quests.
    Sell rare tree fruit you have been accumulating
    Sell ostriches/fish for those who will breed for the event
    Sell breeding stock for those who do not wish to breed
    Put out animal pens that fit your schedule and harvest often (chickens/rabbits...) and sell manure
    Sell Baha crops that are needed for the event
