I reckon I must be going Ga-Ga from working too much, but I'm sure there was a thread from farmer_broke here somewhere, or am I losing it? Odd..

Well I need to ask ask farmer_broke anyway: I'm selling Oats and Sorghum by the thousands for about 5 CCs below the lowest price. I intentionally put it low in large quantities, and they sell like hot cakes. What would you do in a situation like this: 1000's of stock of a crop, that's in demand but the market might flood in an instant, put out low and sell while pissing other sellers off or keep a high price, maybe not sell but if, to a very high profit...:)

Great position to be in Hatzeva. I stayed on page one. Went with quantities as high as 1600 ... 1400 worked well and 800. With stock, I just get rid of it. Just don't have time to bother with those 10's and 20's offers or even 100's. No need to even clean up as those with no CCs will gladly do it.

Market for those crops slowing down and those pricing hopelessly too high are now deleting offers and trying to get rid of them. Sometimes better to let them get the scraps and hold a little inventory and set up to get their profit back.

If someone comes in and tries to undercut I sometimes play a game of how-low-can-you-go while still profiting. If you want to play then drag the market all the way down to no one makes anything. Sometimes good to play like we do not know and let them sell a few thousand and go. Market fights to control can be very interesting.

If no much in quantity on the market below my price, I will even buy at a loss knowing I will not make anything in the shortrun. But in the long run ..... $$$$$$$$$$$$

My stock with sorghum would not last. I sold in lower quantities at a slightly higher price. Still has not lasted. Even grew it. Still did not last and prices good.

    Just gave up.

Wheat, same stories. Good easy ccs.

While selling items near hay, I was buying and pushing the price up. Day of reckoning on the way there too.

Wish I knew your CC position. When not so much, I would slow down and hold my ccs a few days and think through a decision.

HAHAHA And we will not be able to replace our stocks at a reasonable price as fast as we sold.

:):):) I can sense your happiness and frustration all in one. For sure, the speed at which you are selling will not last forever. Spending it wildly can turn something so easy and so nice into disaster.

I am so happy for you. (No need for calculators .... just bring it in as fast as you can.) So glad I am not playing with you on your market. You are dangerous. :)

    So so happy for you.

And yes, it can be a lot of work selling so much so quickly. Have you experienced the feeling of just tired of making ccs? And your fields are still growing. Did you even have time to harvest?

    So happy for you!

Well the "price bonanza" lasted only a few hours. Glad I got in there while it lasted - sold all down to my last 67 Sorghums and 23 Oats :) Slowly building my stock up again, which is pretty easy with such short time crops,
All I have to do now is build my trust back on my market, a much harder job I think

Thanks farmer_broke! (a small token of my appreciation is found in your inventory)

I'm looking for farmer_broke too. Were is he hiding?
Wrapping up some Wilsons for Christmas?
I look every day in chat to see if I can find him but nothing.
That was the place I would pick up some good market tips.
He tought me how to sell sunflowers and how to grow them too and he even
got me broke sometimes listening to what to buy at the right moment.
I think I have lettuce and apples for the rest of my farm life..
Now that I have some CCs on my account I wanted to ask what should I buy?
SO if you or someone finds him tell him I'm waiting in chat for him.
Let's give Teddy some work in chat.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.:)

Tommone is really great. Before reading his post I sent him an igm. This farm is moving in several directions and I desperately need a "Chairman of the Board" to creatively guide the direction of this farm. And I promise to listen!

Everyone in our forum has helped me so very much for so very long. No amount of disagreeing can change the love I feel for everyone here. Thank you for your kind words Tommone.

    Please have a Merry Christmas.

I agree Tomone, I think we need to give Teddy a little something to do in chat.

    @hatzeva

Thank you for the wonderful gift. You owe me absolutely nothing as you did all the work. I hope you will forget about the gift because I won't. I have a plan. Thank you again.

    Merry Christmas everyone.
