permit to use star to get rear tree, workshop or animal pen or gold bananas

Advance players have many stars, and have probably already opened all the runes on the tree.
The runes I have not opened, such as the vacation one, do not interest me. I think we should be able to get a rare tree or a rare workshop in exchange for a certain number of star. May be, we can use stars that way only after we reach a certain level.
If not I hope we will be able to use the star for the coral reef, rather than gold bananas which take forever to collect.
Or simply let us use stars to get gold bananas. 50 stars for 5 GB for example.
Stars were a good idea, but they are not longer benefiting high level players.

Agreed, however I feel that it should be an obligation to have opened all runes on the tree. Otherwise, players could just hoard their stars for the good stuff, and furthermore, it wouldn't be a case of needing to use up extra stars. If you want to use up extra stars you should at least have bought everything possible with them first.

 

If it's place high enough on the tree, you'll have to have opened most of the other runes. But that is a good point

 

I have not used stars for everything on the tree but have gotten most of the tree done. There are a couple of runes I have no intention of opening at all (vacation being one of them). I don't think that players should be restricted to having opened all the runes on the tree to get a rare item. When I began playing the peach tree was a rare tree but it is at the bottom of the tree of wisdom. Depending on the rare item being offered, the star requirement alone would ensure it was targeted for high level players and I would only convert my stars for a rare item if that item were something that is not currently in game through other means (event/quest rewards, G/T, secret seedlings/stables) such as the magic tree.

 

Then it would depend on the intention.

If the intention is to have a rare item for players to use their excess stars on, then players should have to have purchased every other rune, because otherwise their stars are not excess. If players do not have to have opened all runes to access this rare item, then it's nothing to do with excess stars, and you're actually just asking for a new rune on the tree.

 

How about just putting a new "tree of wisdom" on the coral reef?

 

I've been playing this game off and on for about 3 yrs. I'm not interested in every single rune on the tree. Some of them just don't interest me and if I have to purchase every rune, its a waste to me. There are games that I can't finish because I don't have the apricot or kumquat tree. I can't get the special or rare pens -- frog, dove, cat..--- IF we are going to suggest a rune for those I'd rather spend my stars on what I want to buy. Case in point... On the Island, in order for me to get the camel pen I have to unlock the anaconda pen first. That's 18 banana's! The camel pen is an additional 25! I don't think we should have to purchase what we don't want. I don't want the anaconda!! But, getting back to certain tree's and games.. please guys.. lets us purchase these rare tree's with stars or coin. I can't finish a game when I don't have the fruit and if no one has the fruit for sale I can't feed animals either. Hamsters need apricots and Eagles need rowan berries.. I have to buy these from those who offer. And no one offers kumquats!
