I did I quick calculation of needed products, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on anything:).

    Roasters: 12

    Silky: 18

    Baby chickens: 36

    Mallards: 18

    Motor ducks: 12

    Baby ducks: 62

    Eggs: 80

    Wheat: 800

    Baby blanket: 54

    Sheep's wool: 5 + 108 (for blankets)=113

    Down feathers: 8 + 54(for blankets)=62

This is going to be a difficult event to finish for me. I've got all the breeding animals, & the eggs and wheat, but the feathers and wool will be tough. Just bought enough sheep's wool to finish, which I was worried about, as I needed the most of that, should be able to snag the remaining 4 feathers I need if I lurk in the market for a bit.:pxD. They're selling as fast as they come up, go figure, lol. Good luck everyone!

Sure glad I put out all my chicken pens when I finished the mouse event ;), they're selling for almost 400 now o_O. If they hit 500 I'll start selling:D. Got so involved in marketing, forgot I have to get ready for physical therapy xD:cry:xD.

edit: put the correct amounts for roasters and baby chickens

Is not it takes 12 roasters and 36 baby chickens, spot?

    Others is right value.

I get that we need 12 roasters and 36 baby chicks...Otherwise I agree with your numbers.

Sheep wool has already sold out of the market and there is only one offer of duck feathers.

The FAQ says we are guaranteed one baby chick/duck per breeding process. 36 baby chicks + 62 baby ducks = 98 breeding cycles= 196 PF. Will need more if you don't have the breeding stock or can't buy them due to either high prices or not available in the market.

This will be a difficult event for me to finish too. I will be unable to finish on BillyWhiskers but will be happy enough to gather a few of the new chameleon pens from level 1.

    Good luck!

Hi spots :D Thanks for the overview :)

I have been buying colored chickens and ducks, based on the rumors in the grapevine. Now I've sold off all of them with great profit :D

Since we have to breed chickens and ducks to get the babies anyway, I figured there was no reason to hold on to the colored ones. We have to breed ducks (colored or regular) 62 times to get the required baby ducks. I am sure I'll get the more than enough mallards and motor ducks from that. I'll probably get most of the roasters and silky's too from the required chicken breeding :)

As pnp said, we need to use at least 196 PF, but we get 140 PF as rewards, so that's great :D

And we get 18 chameleon stalls :) Chameleons will be the next breeding animal :D

I think, the tough of this event is not the product or breeding animal
You could buy them if you could afford the CC, they will be rocket price, but
you still could get them from market. (if you cannot afford them, that's another story)
it's the baby chicken & duck
according to my understand of FAQ
You must & the only way to got the baby ones. Is do the breeding.
36 baby chicken, 62 baby duck that is 98 times of breeding

FAQ say :You will only get one per breeding process, guaranteed.
That is 196 PF using, Even there is BBD on weekend. You may got twin of breeding
you still need to do that much times of breeding.
So, If you got such amount of PF, go for it. Since all of us love the new Chameleon stall
BP already give you notice it's the next breeding animals.
And the cloud row, Oh, I love BEP. Lucky I got much PF, I had enough/excess qty of product.
    Do it. I will

    Edit: Adding
I forget to take full look on the prizes. Well thanks Mir85 for giving out the PF
we could get from event. extra 56 PF will not be much troubles to most of farmers.

Since we get 140 PF back from the event, you only have to spend 56 PF, which really isn't that much for a breeding quest :)

I think the most difficult thing is the products. I think many players don't keep such big amounts of products (with no production trees), and it will take a lot of CC to buy now.

I'd also like to point out that those that are afraid of the numbers.... by just doing Level 1 (all three parts). It only takes 12 Roasters, 8 baby chicks and 5 wool... for that you will get 12 chameleon stalls and 24 PF replaced. Most should be able to manage that.

I'm agree for your numbers, dnin.
It is 36 times to breed any coloured chickens and 62 times to breed any coloured ducks. It should be doing by yourself.

Bad idea to buy coloured animals from market...

Anyone that needs to make the CC's to buy some products try selling some base animals. Chickens are up to 350 and Ducks are up to 1500 on my market already. Even sheep are starting to rise slowly.
I think this is well worth the effort :)

Silyguy,I edit my post, when I saw pnp's post, my frist no come from spotsbox.

Regarding buying breeding animals. You know, the previous event (mice) I don't do any
breeding, all come from market. If I could afford the CC paying, Why I waste my PF.
It all depend on farmers' own strategy.

Thanks for correcting me, I'm not terrific at math any time, and especially when my attention's divided between trying to figure the amounts and trying to buy in the market :p, not to mention not having had my cup of coffee xD. Got all the wool and feathers I need and then some, will be reselling at a profit, I hope, when I get back from PT:inlove:.

The difference is that for this event you have to breed chickens and ducks :) So why waste CC buying breeding animals very expensively :wuerg:, when you will most probably get the breeding animals needed, by doing the required breeding :p

I sold 150 roasters, 50 motor ducks, 30 mallards and a few silkys. Now I have -0- left, and happily waiting for baby boom day :inlove:

dont you believe, 5 hr before, I just clear my MF for chicken farning
since the prize of full machinery from mice event is quite long.
I think about how to make a good used of the builder, Then i notice my snake feed
drop a bit. So, I make 100 snake feed. thus chicken reserve need to refill. Now,I had
over 1000, OK I will sell some of them on market.

    reply to Mir85
Yes, I understand this event We need to breed to got the baby ones.
that's why I say that even you got the CC to buy breeding animals & all other
stuff. farmers cannot act like previous event to buy everything on market.
you must breed the two kind of breeding animals.

Me too.. I edit my previous post to you after you did. :)

    @bhodo

We do not count amount of the base animals, because you still get a baby chick from breeding any coloured chickens (such as Gumbos, Minis, Rainbows, etc) and get a baby duck from breeding any coloured ducks (such as Sailor Ducks, Rubber Ducks, Peking Ducks, etc).

:) Just thought it was worth emphasizing it :) Judging by the rising market prices, lots of players are frantically buying

I need to know how many animals I'll need for breeding, and for the products to be milled.
Base animals are needed for breeding and Down Feathers and Sheep Wool.
Not the way you are looking at it...

Yes, I used another color to tell them(Post #5) you need to do breeding. buying cannot help
    you everytime.
However, I wonder if there had farmers buy the need breeding chicken & duck. Then breed
the higher rank of chicken & duck to get the baby ones.xD
