Ok this may be achievable event for me if you have a baby boom during the majority of it and a power feed event, just saying please :)

I like this event, it is challenging and achievable, the rewards are nice, the mill product item required is costly and many players would not be able to complete the required product since the items takes long time to produce and the market is not going to be of any help (the sheep wool and the dawn feathers almost vanished and if there well be some, the prices are going to be sky high) but still it may be achievable other wise the players have to consider the event basket, now I am wondering, 16 Chameleon stalls as rewards, some players may like that, but wouldn't it be better if there was upgraded stalls and workshops especially that it was announced that the next breading event is for the chameleons ! breading chameleons means colored chameleons then colored stalls and workshops, I am participating in this event, but for the effort and the high cost requirements I would appreciate better prizes like colored stalls instead of 16 basic stalls.

If u get the Chameleon stable, how can u feed it unless u have the lychee tree? I'm at level 95 on the Island and I still have to level up to get the kumquat at 19 GB's. I have to have that before I can get the lychee and that tree costs 24 GB's!! So, at this rate, I will have to level up 6 more times before I can get those trees and feed that stable. The game developers need to make it easier to achieve GB's. Only getting 5 at a time when u can level up takes way too long. I'm not the only one who has complained about this but no one is listening to us! Then, to get to open up the next Island, I need 40 GB's just to open that part of the Island.. I then need more GB's to do anything else. Trying to finish quests isn't easy either when u can't get certain items because u haven't unlocked it yet.. and u can't cuz u don't have the GB's to do it!! See the frustration here???

On the contrary, I think they really have listened, and not only listened but also complied. The last few months we have gotten lots of things to help us level up faster: Most events now rewards a BEP giver, and almost all the new cloud rows give BEP. The two newest singing flowers give BEP. Many of the latest event quests and permanent quests have given BEP as rewards. The "soup'n friends" quest give huge amounts of BEP, that one is hard. But then again it is aimed at higher level players who also need much more BEP to level up than we do. For me it has lately felt like almost all the focus is on the islands, so I am happy to see that the chameleon is for the farm, that something new is happening there too :)

I can understand that it can be slow to achieve the things you want, but I think it is unfair to say the developers have not been listening.

    I
I totally disagree. I have been busting my behind here, when I can play the game to get items needed to get more GB's to no avail. there are many quests I can't finish because I can't get certain items because I don't have the GB's (again) to finish said quest. Kumquats.. Lychee's.. all these take a tremendous amount of GB's to achieve. If u can't finish a quest u can't get the BEP points needed. Let them give GB's as a prize in the quest. Remember.. the higher u are on the Island... the more BEH points it takes to level up. Its easy at first to level up and get GB's.. becomes more difficult and takes much longer when u are at level 115.

I think you are misreading my post. I never said it was easy.

My point was that in the last few months the developers have given us more BEP and BEP items, many in quests unrelated to bahamarama (so that you don't need to open statues to complete them). One example is that you can now buy a BEP item in Jack's shop during Moonlight mania (starts today) :) I see this as a response to players asking for more BEP. That was my point :)

This is making me quite angry - Why do we need level 61 to participate?>:(

I guess I will need to think of ways to earn that 300,000 ep before the event ends.

My feedback: Please allow everyone to participate.

I'm probably one of many to say that I don't understand the limitation to players of Level 61 and above.....that being said....
I like this event because it is an outpouring of nice rewards, and it worked like a charm....I finished it last night, though I have to admit that I bought 2 baskets. I just didn't want to pay the terrible price for any of the needed resources......again the run started before the FAQ was out....(or before I saw that it was out)

The baby blankets are taking WAY too long. it is not fun to wait for that amount of time....doing nothing, while the rest is done.
boring. I love the event itself, very nicely made, but the waiting time for these blankets.... pfffff. VERY boring.

Edit: I also think the Baha mill should be used for either the baby blankets or the chameleon food... i'm already going to be waiting 50 hours for those blankets.....-.- and in the mean time I cannot make anything else... so, chameleons are eating pf ....because i HAVE some.... but usually i don't and it's evaporating rapidly with breeding these insane amounts of baby ducks. Therefor...why not also use the baha mill for chameleon food? I think they'd fit perfectly in the tropical area....

I think everybody at level 31 and upwards can do event quests (to unlock Sheep Wool Shearing Shed workshop).
But to use Chameleon Stall and to produce "chameleon" animals, we need at level 61 and upwards.

    Back to topic.
I like this event, it is challenging and achievable and the rewards are nice. However, the resources required and the milling time is too much I think.
And there will be more anxiety if these chameleons will be next breeding animals in the short terms, I am affraid it's unfair for players under level 61 and some players have not unlocked lychee trees, can not be participation upcoming breeding event although chameleon feed already available on market.

Maybe not so influence for my game because I only need 13 golden bananas more to unlock lychee tree statue. But this is very influential for other players. Just I thought to help the Team understand when planning future events.

    First of all:
According to the FAQ the chameleon stalls are only available once a player reaches level 66!
Another reason, why I don't understand the number 61 as required level. It can't be the stall!
Why exclude so many players that would like to use their PF as well?
Does anyone under level 61 even see the quest in the farmer's society?
Is any smaller player attempting at least the first task?
Please let me know... I am so curious.
And would like to find out if it is possible to be played by a lower level player and if a lot of players just believe the FAQ even if they have everything to their disposal.

EDIT: It makes a big difference to me to find out if the dev team excluded so many players on purpose or if it was a mistake??!

I asked one of my lower level neighbors. The quest does NOT show up for them. That is a big mistake IMO on the part of BP. If it is based on the level of use of the chameleon pen, then the level announced should have been 66, not 61. If one can acquire the pen at level 61 (even without being able to use it) then the level should have been lowered to what the requirements minimum would be.

the mill product is quiet costly and the milling time so long. It would be nice to be able to use both mills with a time like that.
I really appreciate the BBD with this event. (Wouldn't bother with it otherwise) And also that we know what the next breeding animal will be. So we can prepare, if we have the right level, that is.
Hopefully there is another way to get the chameleon stables for the players who don't participate.

At BH level 133 it normally takes me 5-7 days max to get 5GB (depending on quests or events to move faster.) Is that the 'much longer' that we're talking about?

This is just a wild guess.....but sooner or later the Chameleon Stable will steal its way into the supply store.........I don't think that BigPoint/Farmerama will exclude a bunch of players now and future players from a feature of the game.....most higher level players were asking for quests to suit them...and I think this is the answer....a nice little quest to keep them entertained.....

Sure, a quest to entertain the higher levels. Hmmm... but why not just make it an event to entertain the levels 31-61 as well? All it took is to make the event available to players at an earlier stage.
This kind of planning of events is what annoys me. I mean why not let other players be part of it? They got all it needed. And there are enough events usually where there is no choice because the requirements asked for are only available at a certain level anyhow.
I am annoyed by that. Sorry... can't help the feeling that not much thought went into that restriction.
Or could someone just give it a try and explain me what possible reasons BP could have...
I am drawing a blank as on theories to that development!

So now there are many players levels 31-60 who are at the very least, disappointed that they were not able to participate even in the first step. They now know that they will be even further behind for the next breeding event with chameleons. Not only do they need to level up to 66 but they don't know if they will be able to raise their own chameleons for the event. Instead they may have to purchase them in the market at a high price. We have no idea if and when a G&T event will be forthcoming but in all likelihood, it will be too late for gifting pens even if they would be gift-able at the event (that 4 month rule thing). If you want to give higher level players more quests, give them more permanent quests that lower level players know will be there when they get to that level. I've been staring at the camel flying carpet quest for months now, ever since I opened Baha and it will be a long time before I can unlock camels to complete it.
