Finished with step 3. Working on clearing pens as they mature and planting event crops. Lots and lots of event crops.

The night before the event... I spent 1h x3 tearing up and putting sticks in the grounds. Feeling like UGH! Felt so yucky I even got up and took my temperature. First time in about 5y. Only up one degree so I went back to farming. Finished. Read Aluntino's post. Felt like maybe feeding my FOCD would pay off by the end of the event. LOL!
I was 14h late starting the event. Rare for me. Really wish I could have started the event timer at that point.
I sorta jumped the gun starting the Lvl 1 timer so I had to wait a few hours to finish the trees on my main farm. Second farm I forgot the timer before I harvested the first field. I probably got enough EP from the Glade and one other field from trees on each of my farms. Buying those 10-12 Secret Sapling each event has paid off. As well as buying about the same amt of each tree as I leveled up. And event prizes. Glade is where I got most of those EP.
Then I spend yesterday growing event crops and got more than enough for Lvl 2.
Last night I put the pens out, started the Easter cloud row and the other 30min or is that second timer and fed the beasts. Harvested them this morn. Main farm got about 45k from the critters. Other two farms got less than 40k. The difference is the pets, mostly. I covered all four fields with pens. I had to wait for the jumbos and spooky pens. All three farms are level 93 and have similar assets. I usually buy about 10 Mystery Stables each event. Based on previous posts I did build some extra peanut butter and panda habitats. Baha is where I got most of those points.
The event isn't half over yet and and I have more than half the drops so I should be OK to finish the whole event.
Now a couple more days of event crops...
This is a complex event and I didn't feel like doing detailed math so I just went for overkill with the trees and pens, JIC. Good luck y'all!

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm starting to feel better. That nasty cold is relaxing it's grip. I can breathe again. I was worried I wouldn't be well enough for my next treatment on Thurs. I only have two more Herceptin treatments left and don't want anything to interfere with me not getting them.

 

Ok time ran out i ended up with three yellow stables 19 super mulch and 3 CAC ... then went straight on and completed the next level right after that one fully .... and i cant finish up the last level because i don't have monkey breeding unlocked on baha ... been working feverishly to open up lychee lol .... but all in all i'm happy with how far i got ... didn't sleep at all last night so i think i'm off for a cat nap ... good luck everyone ... congrats anyone that got to fully complete it .....

 

The PC got some troubles. weekend I met my fan to borrow her ipad for login & done
the animal farming. then try to open my PC & it function normal occasionly. which let
me finished LV 3 by today.
Now, setting my farm back to normal style & focus on finished the remain of work.
If the PC got struck again. I had to re-set it. For safety, I better wait for my nephew
to done this work. Finger cross my dear PC, pls kind to be work properly until my
nephew got spare time to come my home.

 

L3 completed without issues this morning. Or evening if you're in Australia...

 

On this farm, I was able to fully finish Step 1, it was a nice surprise! I don't think I would have been able to, even with my two owls, but my daily gift from Fuzzles was +15% for 30 mins, and that made it possible! Completed Step 2 right away. Now I'm waiting for stables to mature before I start the timer, but I have some serious doubts about finishing Step 3, even with two owls, EM, SW, and (hopefully? Maybe?) another great gift from Fuzzles. I simply do not have the stables needed. I'm lucky enough to have two pinks, but other than that I just have a couple orange stables and the rest are just basics. This farm is less than 6 months old, so this event is awfully tough.

On my steph2014 farm, I got 48,000 tree EP in the first harvest, so I thought I'd easily be able to finish during the next harvest...but then I couldn't get into the game! The page kept timing out and crashing, and by the time I was able to log in, the 24 hour timer had ended. So, I didn't get full rewards, but that's life I guess. Finished Step 2 immediately. Now I have the same concerns on steph2014 as I do on MissSmartyPants when it comes to Step 3, because I just don't have good stables! I'm level 81, but I've only been playing for 8 months and haven't amassed the stables needed for this one. I wish we could have used workshops...I just don't think I will get anywhere near the required EP. This is going to be awfully tough with regular animal pens. I have 4 orange pens and that's about it. No pets on this farm. Keep your fingers crossed that Fuzzles will feel sorry for me and give me an EP boost...

 

Only about 450 thingies to grow and donate and will never look at step four again.

I have a real serious question at this point. I realize some of you are not feeling too well and my heart and prayers go out to you.

But I still have a question? I know some of you grow stuff with this level of madness week after week. And I can sorta sympathize with you.

I really like everyone here, really and truly. But you grow this junk week after week and some of the things at insane levels. And you get in a hurry.

I'll just go on and ask you like the farm wife would ask me ... Everything is going to be alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllright, don't worry.

The question is ......... And I will understand if the answer to this question is YES

Well Hubby I tell you all the time that you have bumped your head. Yes you have finish growing the event crop.

I finished step 2 and 3, now just need 3,200 event crops to finish step 4.

For many of us, it is a goal with a feeling of accomplishment when you can begin to complete events. Most events have nice prizes that are worth pursuing. That is when FOCD kicks in and then you have Farming Fever!

I think you must have bumped your head (hard) to be farming an event for EP. You have never worried about EP before. Your neighbors will still be neighbors no matter what your level. Of course, you know I wish you all the very best in your pursuits. I will send you a bread roll... Good luck!

Did they give a few chameleon pen upgrades too? I think those are real nice. BUT only one small matter:

I don't have a base chameleon pen to put them on.

Just completed third step and I already have all requirements to be able to complete fifth step, however I do not have enough GB to unlock Monkey Breeding.
So, I'm still working for GB before time's up. This event really motivated me to find out how well I am having a healthy barn.
Remaining 200k B-EP to go.. Do not need help from anyone because I certainly could.
Oh yeah... This is my style..

L3 went much easier on me than I feared as my daily present gave me +100% EP so I was able to get by on one harvest. I was nervous I had to harvest every single pen before I reached it. With all my pets and buffs going. If I had to do a round 2 I'm not I would have gotten through without a bunch of PF help to shorten their times. I actually chewed on a nail Not my usual style. Plus I don't even remember what the cloud row gives but I just have OCD and have to have it

Glad to hear things are going mostly smoothly for everyone. I have a lot of back reading to do but did skim over it.

The cloud row is great: 70 EP x farm level & 70 BEP x baha level

But you wouldn't have had to get all the EP to get the cloud row, there are partial rewards, and then one can continue with step 4
