Feedback Question Tuesday CW4: Improved Rewards

I would like to see a wider variety and more interesting rewards. I like the cloud rows, especially those that have some other bonus besides (B)EP. But I am not sure it is very fair towards new players. I am still jealous of farmers with the 2012 Easter cloud row

What I would really like more of, are interesting prizes that are great at the time, but so that it doesn't matter in the long run if you didn't get them. One example: The chameleon pens! Players who did the event got a head start on raising chameleons, which is great. But in the long run it won't matter too much, since everyone will be able to buy the pens in the shop later.

Suggestions:

• New special craft items which we can't produce our self. For instance:
  • 3 Cinnamon rolls: +3 harvest bonus for baha crops, 8 hours
  • 5 Productive jams: +2 fruits from your production trees, 24 hrs
  • 5 Crafty bouquets: +3 fruits from your craft supply trees, 24 hrs
  • 1 Booster cake: +75% (B)EP for crop category grain, 3 hours
    The bonuses could be much better than those of regular craft items, since the number of craft items would be very limited. Should be giftable, but not put on the market.
• 10% EP bonus on everything, for 10 days, starting immediately.
• An extra gold slot for 10 days, starting immediately (inspired by happycallie!)
  
• 24 hour Moonlight mania, starting when event finishes
• 24 hour baby boom, starting when event finishes

Don't know if the last two are possible, but would be cool

Other suggestions for rewards:

• This has been suggested by others before: Items for previous cloud rows, a choice between three would be great. Great for those who are missing items for cloud rows. Those who have the items/don't have the cloud row, can pick the best/cutest item.
• 2x1 decorations that can be placed on cloud rows. Not replacing any of the other rewards, but in addition! Maybe together with the sticker. It is hard to find 2x1 items for the cloud rows.

PS. For those asking for Golden bananas: I do see the attraction of GB prize, but I think it would be very hard to make it "fair". Say an event awarded 5 GB, i.e. one level up:

• For penguilnz, at level 24, one level is 25k BEP,
• but for TC, at level 243, one level is 987k BEP!

Even 1 GB is ok when you are over level 200, while I am sure players below level 50 would think it ridiculous.

I strongly agree with the above, and would like to vote for Golden Bananas - but I have seen it referred to as BAHA-EP and also OTHER. To which one should I give my vote??

Also, and equally important, is the extra diamond or gold slot!!

Never mind....I'm voting for OTHER. Technically, since GB's are not EP's, they should be in the OTHER catagory!

I have voted for givers.

I used to have a fair number of EP or CC giving items in my park. It wasn't full by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't insignificant either. It was probably worth a good 10,000 EP on an overnight harvest. With the introduction of the Beanstalk, I've naturally moved many of my givers (lowest EP value) to the cloud rows. Whilst these cloud rows are certainly very useful and I do at times rely on them, my overnight harvest of the Park is now less than 8,000 EP - and it's now mostly full of water tanks.
I love EP givers but I find that whenever we win them in events, they're going to go towards the themed cloud row. That's all good and well if I don't earn the cloud row - but if I do, I either fill it up and lose that giver from the park, or I leave it greyed out - which I simply cannot do.
It would be nice to have regular givers again. I find that I'm at a dead end with the amount of EP I earn because I'm never increasing the amount that I get from the park to supplement my harvest EP.

 

I would like to see better prizes on the wheel. Barn Bucks, Top breeding animals. Things we could really use to help complete quests and get further in the game.

I know it's not a popular choice but I voted for EP.

My reasoning is as follows:
Quite a while ago we were promised more mainland content, with levels up to 200 and new plants. There's no point in producing that content, though, if no-one can get above level 100. I would really like to see 'stretch-goals' in events which were worth, say, 1/5 of a level's worth of EP no matter what level you were. For someone at level 20 that would be near to worthless and they wouldn't feel bad about not going for it, but for someone at level 90 with shiny new high-level content to aim for, that would be a really valuable prize and would be worth a lot of hard work.

I'm currently level 89 and have a few mainland plants left to unlock but none of them have any particular use. As a result the mainland is not particularly exciting for me. I know we've got the coral reef coming up which should keep us all happy and occupied for a good while, but after that I'd love to have several months of events with high EP rewards in preparation for new high-level content.

 

I voted for Golden bananas, but hesitated between golden bananas and others. I was thinking about power feed or BBs. That would be nice, especially the cinema has been very unreliable lately. Power feed would help with the numerous breeding quests we have. Of course colored animals would be great too.

 

A vote for stickers might be removing stickers as prizes?

I'm in for the GB, I'm so far off of being able to ever even keep pace with the new stuff they add to Bahamarama, much less catch up they need to do something.

I don't think that it 1 GB is ridiculous, because I need a long time before I can reach a new baha level. To me 1 GB is already a very good prize. I need a lot of gb to unlock things.
Mir, where did you get all those information that I need 25,000 BEP to reach 25? Your information is correct! And that 25,000 bep requirement is definitely going to cost me a lot of time.

 

I voted for Baharama EP - although I have to admit Golden Bananas are waaay better... I understand they are hard to come by so getting 20 in one go would be too easy but something like 5 every now and then is a great way to reward our hard farmers work!

True, for lower level players every GB may not seem as hard to get (=> less valuable) as for the more advanced ones. Then again, cow/goat milk tree is an attractive reward for lower level player while for the old timers it's just another one in a bunch... Rewards can't be equal for everyone because everyone wants/needs/already has different things.
But I dare say we are pretty much united on this one: We crave Golden Bananas!

 

Then I apologize to you But when we got 2GB for free in the advent calender, some were complaining that it was too little, so I do think I have a point.

BTW, I only used your name as ab example, because you had your baha level in your signature, hope that's ok I looked up how much BEP one needs for level 25 in a list

Bigpoint, please, include both GBs and BBs in all your events. These are the things we need most.

after level 250 it really shift gears
when you look at difference between requirements, for 2 successive levels, it suddenly jump from 15.000 to 42.000, and keep on climbing at steep(er) rate.
on the other hand, I guess people who reach that level will surely have some way to increase daily income of BEP

 

Like most of the voters, I voted others, in my mind the first thing that came was GB, but (others) gives our expectations an unlimited options, now we are anticipating the coral reef needs a lot of golden bananas, but what else, we have to wait and see, some have already suggested a very good suggestions, and creative like mir85, I would like to see that question asked again in 2 or 3 months time and see if the votes will be different or not.
