Birthday Event Strategies

I have more than enough event crops for the last step of Swish and the last 3 steps of Willy Woggle. Just need more batteries. (Batteries, batteries, where is that other bunny that promotes them when I need them?)

 

Swish arrived with a Swoosh! Just need Willy to Woggle in.

 

My trees and pens are ready....was hoping for a blackthorn since I could not get one during the secret seedling mini event. I did get a few xxl upgrades (always nice) but the only rare tree was a loquat (very nice CC maker right now). The pens gave mostly orange upgrades but did get 2 hamsters, 2 cats and raccoon.

Still working on Bunnilyn but am on level 7 here on pnp and level 8 on BW so getting close.
On pnp: Resetting has meant that I have been able to give honey on 5 levels and timber once. A total of 31 resets. Every task in the product quest has required multiple resets. Very frustrating but so happy the reset is available!

On BW: Resetting gave me honey 4 times and timber 3 times. A total of 18 resets. Five of the levels I was fine with the requirement the first time with no reset so the 18 resets are corresponding to 3 levels.

Thanks to those friends/neighbors who have sent timers! Much appreciated! Now I am like many of you...all event crops are grown and just waiting on the batteries. Need less than 300 so normal farming will collect them before event's end.

Only one more party guest to arrive. Has anyone noticed that Swish looks somewhat like a famous rocker by the name of Alice?

 

I like how they play off the names of real people, just like they do with the customers in the Farmhouse orders!
Swish = Slash from Guns n Roses (although Slash does kinda look like Alice Cooper)
Bunnilyn Bunroe = Marilyn Monroe
Elvus Speckley = Elvis Presley
Willy Woggle = ? (I haven't completed this one yet...is it a play off of Willy Wonka?)

 

205 more batteries and 2 levels Elvus and 3 levels Willy are needed.
I must say, I really like this event. Just wish the batteries would come in faster.

 

I am aiming to complete the event although from my calculations it's gonna be a tight squeeze without using hundreds of SG! and I've no idea if I'll get enough batteries but I have put a post on the SOS just incase so if anyone helps me with batteries or timers, thankyou in advance!! I was really hoping for at least one great stable in each section and I was not disappointed...I got a red cookware forge in one lot and a yellow truffle farm in the other(which was good for me as I only have 2 truffle farms) and in the trees I was delighted to get my first Blackthorn tree and xxl Peach tree so all in all pleased with those and I did get some more orange stables amongst them aswell.

 

It's moments like this I wish I only had one farm... I'm one of those that prefers to wait until I have all the crops before donating. I've given up trying to keep track of how many crops/drops I have. Going to have to do some math soon tho. Rather not over plant by thousands since I'm using four fields. Interesting event but I find it confusing. Probably because of trying to do three farms at once.

I have one guest at the table on each farm. One farm got FOUR requests for honey in a row! Then a reset and a honey request and VOILA! Bunnilyn. The other two have Elvus. Haven't used a single timer yet, waiting the 2h, since I have to wait for the crops and drops anyway. I've been resetting the donkeys and beaver requests. Trying to hold onto those. Also resetting some of the crops that I'm low on. Getting near the end tho. One moment I'm waiting for event drops, the next event crops. Currently waiting for event crops. Because of my late start I planted nuts overnight. Carnations the second night for rest. Roses last night because I had to get up early and leave. Tonight Carnations for drops and rest.

Yep, it's a cold cruel world.
Meanwhile... I will continue trying my best to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

 

I still need:
-142 barbado nuts
-237 sweet clovers (currently planted)
-313 batteries (need about 115 per day left, which is in my farm's range)

AND for miss diva bunny to accept honey & timber still have 3 turn-ins with her. But I'm going to tire her out, with 65 hours left (and a current 45m wait) that means I can still cancel her prima donna demands 32 more times and still make.
So i'm gonna play it cool and sell my koi fish, ostrich eggs & pots while the selling is good

 

He reminds me of Slash of Guns'n'Roses! (mmh the name has the same number of letters )

 

I finally completed the event. I had to buy some of the stuff for Miss Bunnilyn, but the CC's I got from the other three definitely helped.
This was much easier than some of the previous events to complete. I am glad they did not want insane amounts of tree fruit, crops or animals and no breeding animals were needed.

 

Wooo hooo I finally got my wonder trees!!!
Now I am waiting for the wonder trees to see what they are giving me.

On Illy: I managed to supply Ms Bunnykins with her desired products - obviously I did not give her any of my precious cook pots *get out in that kitchen and rattle those pots and pans*. But she asked for timber or honey and maybe Koi, can't remember, but I had a stash of whatever it was so she and Elvus were my first guests. Finished all crops and waiting for those last 200 or so drops. They will come now I have reverted back to (lots of) trees and critters.

Very pleased with my Wonder trees, I got two XXL Maples, two XXL Elderberries, one XXL Apricot, one XL Apricot, one XL Oak and a Medlar, a Fullmoon Maple (my first on either farm) and a Loquat.

On this farm, Ms Bunnykins will insist on asking for 14 Koi and I only have 12! Too expensive and too longwinded to grow my own so am resetting each time (lost count how many times). Will dig my heels in until she asks for some Honey or something I have. So Elvus is sitting by himself at the table. The other two are waiting on Batteries but they are not far from finishing.

Wonder Trees on this farm were good too: two XXL Maple, one XXL Date, one XXL Mulberry, one XXL Apricot and two Strawberry Fruit, one Medlar and a Sakura (my first on either farm!).

Now, Suzee, if you could have a word with your dear cousin and tell her to ask me for one Angora wool for the next few levels ...

Miss Bunny had asked me timber at very frist begining.
Then she don't want timber anymore. Keep on asking cookpot, koi & ostrich egg,
and some honey..
Of course, I only give her one time ostrich egg,then just tell her to use honey well
with the eggs. I expect She would ask again for timber as fuels.But she seem
doesn't like to use timber again. So, I turn her round everytime until she accept
honey or timber.
Now, at LV 9, she ask for honey after I turn her out 3 times.
Hope at LV 10, she want some timber

 

I calculated how many crops and drops I need to finish the event.
Sweet clovers 3750
Barbados nuts 3400
Batteries 390 I have only 17...

She ask me 11 timber on last LV, Just need to gather enough battery
will be finished her chair.
(total battery miss only 95, lot of time left, no problem at all)

 

The good news: Miss Bunnilyn Bunroe has been beamed to the party on both my farms!
The bad news: Once she arrived, I "accidentally" tripped over the cables and bumped the transporter, which then beamed her into Outer Space. oops.
The really bad news: The drops have been really terrible on both farms...I still need 290 batteries on MissSmartyPants and about 250 on steph2014. Long-term crops are growing, etc., but I have a feeling I'm going to need some help. I've posted in the SOS thread *hangs head in shame*
