Valentines Day

Well I hope my strategy is working. Left animals and trees on green meadow and Island. Have 2 fields for growing plus most of the Island. Used PJ and white innocence this morning so have gotten alot of harvests using super grow and water. No more super grow so now just using water and manure. Have my first 10 cupid arrows cooking in the mill, did not want to do them all at once as I wanted to make sure I have enough event crop to plant on 1x1 plots. Tonight I will put out the 1x1 plots and plant Rye not only for the drops but then I can turn them into the Garden Expo and get 3 CAC's I have everything else to donate just worried about the drops. Have gotten 155 so far but I think I am still falling short of the daily drop. If I do need more I will post in the SOS tread. Good luck to all. Happy Farming!!

desi - you are not falling short of drops. In fact you are ahead of the daily average. It sounds like your plan is working fine for you.

 

Is it better to plant comfort fields with event crops overnight and for the morn(as no access to game til tmr aft) or keep 1x1 and plant longest growing crop that fits time? I'm thinking event crops in comfort fields as at least I'm still growing for the large number of event crops needed.....thoughts anyone?

trixie - how are you doing with drops? Will you have access to the game after tomorrow afternoon during the rest of the event? Are you using buffs (PJ or CAC)? Do you have the other flowers needed already on hand? Are you trying to complete the entire event or is there a certain level that is your goal? The answers to these questions will develop a strategy more specific to your situation.

In general, I would plant the longest crop to fit your schedule for the drops. The event crops are a good daytime crop to grow if you have access to the computer and with buffs like PJ or CAC, and using 1x1 plots, you still have plenty of time to plant event crops.

 

Manure is sold out on my market. Anyone that wants to make money should be selling. The price will surely rise.

@puppiesnponies Hi, yes I'm aiming to complete the event. Yes I'll have access to the game early tmr afternoon. Yes I'm using lots of buffs inc flower cloud row and CAC. Yes I have all the other crops needed(got prepared beforehand! ) And as for drops I have just done my first full harvest of 1x1 on main field, all full bar maybe 5 1x1, plus buffs already on and my two trophies on the field before harvest and I got 13 arrow shafts...is that good,bad or ok? Think I got 7 on Baha but haven't got a full field.

I have taken your advice for the other fields that I hadn't already put comfort ones in and planted roses and poppies which I will harvest first thing and then I will plant the event crop for me to harvest when I get back. I just didn't know if I was losing valuable time on the event crops.
I didn't refresh after I placed the trophies on each field...does it matter?

 

Yes Black Manure is sold out in my market too has been for couple of hours so it going to take longer to Grow These Heart Drop Flowers. I have Eaten 3 x CAC i hope it is enough to reap all these event crops. It sounds like there will be a manure shortage during this event until all the required Heart Drop Flowers is grown.

Hardly anyone is able to buy Manure and sell for Profit here or have any Surplus in their Barn to sell, if there is not many manure being brought up to push up price of manure then the price of manure will rise very slowly so would not be much point selling manure at current prices when if hold onto them can sell it for more. This had not happen during a Crop growing event for since i have been playing this game cannot recall it happen before

The Heart Drop Flowers takes only 4 hours to grow using Water and Manure. On the Positive Note the Event Drops of Arrow Shafts is Pretty good drop Rate I have 248 Arrow Shafts at the Moment as I cannot believe that i am able to reap over 300 Arrow Shafts within 12 Hours of this Event.

It just going to Take Longer to Reap These Heart Drop Flowers as 132 of these to Make an each Cupid Arrow which are needed to progress to the next level of this event We have to see if we can speed up this event with manure or manage it without Manure !!!

 

You probably should refresh after placing trophies in order to allow the system to register them. What I did, when I had trophies to move, was either refresh or after harvesting and replanting, move them to another field and then go back to the previous one to water and then harvest the next field. Whatever works best for you but be sure to move them to each field every time to maximize your drops. Good luck!

I think these flowers are so pretty Would be prettier with a little purple in them too. I think this event is doable as long as I can shoot those arrows and hit the correct target

 

The great news is that the mini game is really easy. The balloons are much easier to hit than Renzo's moles. There's no timer, so you can go as slow as you like. Good luck all! May your arrows fly straight and your aim be true.

My strategy is to keep broke's poop shop closed until further notice.
Let manure harvested exceed capacity and disappear. Will not work for that rate!
And let farmer's who need it tough it!

Unbelievable! For this to happen naturally there must be an awful lot of players participating in the event.
Very few producing chickens.

I don't believe it. I can believe all was bought though game action in order to increase super grow sales.

Strategy is to sell one poop at a time to boost the market price for the Poop Peddles Association.

sorry but does anyone think like me its going to take 132 heartdrop flower to make 1 cupids arrow ? i think its stupit to take that many and the time it takes i think im going to pass

 

Strategy is to keep pushing that poop index. Have low level farmers on my market who need to make ccs to spend with me.

Farmers who need the poop will have the poop to work on the event ...

No need for the newbie to mill chicken feed.... just produce the poop.... I'll sell it to um at a cheap price ... well, a fair price

And I will even buy their chickens and they can level up and ..... and they won't need sad stories and can afford to buy more from me and help me not to be broke. I want to make my first million. Plenty poop on the way and I may even open the poop shop real soon.

 

First stage over and, thankfully, those balloons are not too tricky to hit! Thought I had missed one being too flippant on the last of my freebies but I still managed to hit it.

Drops seem okay, this farm 177 and Illy 195 so far (and less than 24 hours in) so no worries there if they carry on like that.

Working this morning so can't mill any Cupid's Arrows till I get home - I can't stand the thought of my mill not milling for four hours but will set it off as soon as I get back. I have those Golden Bananas in my sights!

I think I figured out why the manure market went crazy today. Apparently, they made some changes to the manure system. If I'm reading this right, there are no longer any limits to how many units of manure we can buy or sell on the market. So if your manure pile's max capacity is 300 units, you can buy or sell amounts exceeding that. You can't, however, store more than 300 units if you're producing the poop yourself (i.e., cleaning out your stalls). So if you already have 300+ units, any poop you get from your stalls will be lost. They will only count if you drop below your max capacity.
