I think you're both right...and I'd say 255 chestnuts and 200 mirabelle plums, and perhaps 195 stone pine. Two of the remaining three numbers will be for the two new trees, but I wonder what tree the third number is for?

Here is the final answer to the puzzle and has been confirmed :

• 180 Gingkos
• 230 pine nuts
• 195 gold leaves
• 150 mirabelle plums
• 255 Chestnuts
• 220 Beechnuts
• 200 christmas tree
• 245 rowan berries

And the picture is trabant engine model 601, so that means 601 - 1 = 600 kowhai fruits.

SillyGuy, those are the right pairings of numbers and fruits, but as I said above: I don't think those are the number of fruits that we have to give. They were just puzzles to figure out which tree fruit will be required. If you look at the other rare tree fruit/animal quests, you see that the number of required fruits/animals doesn't vary a lot.

My guess is that we will need 600 (car engine riddle) of each of the fruits mentioned above, in addition to kowhai and maybe amherstia

The numbers were: exchange value of the fruit + EP from the tree:
Gingko: EV 90 + 90 EP = 180
Pine nut: EV 115 + 115 EP =230
Gold leafs: EV 135 + 60 EP = 195
Mirabelle plums: EV 75 + 75 EP = 150
and so on

Hopefully it will be a "normal" mystery seedlings, in that if you buy individual trees, you'll still have a chance to win the new one, but if you buy the package you're guaranteed it?
