    Hi All Fellow Farmers

If you may notice in all markets there is very few manure to buy or none at all. Due to the Changes of Manure that we can hold in our barns. Weather you are a premium Farmer or not

Current Normal Farmers using Runes can get up to 300 Manure Capacity in your Barn, for Premium Farmers it is 600 Manure Capacity.

From now on you can buy as many manure from the markets as you like, providing you have the CC to do so.

But to all those who do Production Pens or Animal Pens Farming Once you have reached your Manure Max Capacity you would be force to sell your current manure stock to make room for all the manure stock from your Production Pens and Stables other wise it is All lost

Many of you, would Try to sell it for the Best Price you can. It is now going to change the way we see manure selling on the Markets for as low as 3 CC or 5 CC. As Cheap Manure will be snapped up by Healthy CC Farmers, Will from now on is allowed to store up as many Manure as they like from Manure Market Purchasing

I have to change my manure strategy...is to buy up as much manure as i can build up stocks of it into it 1000's So That i can use it on Long Time Event Crops to speed up reaping event crops during events. Also use it on Spooky Crops during MM too.

This is now going to be a test on us on how we value our Manure price wise in the markets. One Thing for sure they wont be cheap anymore. I be very Surprise if it was but most unlikely from now on.

In the Past there is a capped on how much manure we can buy and sell in the markets either 300 or 600 there was times i even saw 1200 manure in the markets. But many of us who are not premium farmers it was pointless buy Manure at 600 to 1200 from the markets as we would have lost the surplus manure that exceeds our manure capacity that now has been lifted

There are Farmers who have been buying manure from the markets and reselling them for good profits especially during events on long time crops. This was done with Limitations of Manure Capacity of that Farmer. Plus farmers can hold 10 stocks of Manure in the Markets and the 11th in the Compost of your Barn in Quantity up to 300 or 600 or even 1200

Feel Free to out your views suggestions or new Strategy Here

I am concerned that this is unfair who do alot of stable and production farming, also those who struggle to complete events growing long timed crops do to shortage of manure to buy from the markets. Also those who do not have alot of CC too:wuerg:

Well, having read the relevant posts in the forum I now know why there has been no manure on my market since yesterday ! I think it is a great idea that we can stockpile manure when it is cheap and I will certainly endeavor to do so. I do think it was rather unfair not to announce this change in clearer terms prior to this event but then we would all have been fighting to buy up the manure anyway. I have not seen the lack of manure in the market since the last market overhaul - although sometimes expensive, it has always been available since then. When manure does come back on the market, presumably when players have stockpiled enough, it will be interesting to see the prices but I expect them to be quite high. It is unfortunate that this change has coincided with a major event which has a 5.30h crop which needs manure - rather bad planning !!:wuerg:

Has anyone also figured in how Manure prices will affect the Florist Artisan ?
I guess you can already surmise that some of those Prices will skyrocket or disappear. :(

It may more stabilize the prices than drive them up, but we will see. The issue will be the hoarders. i would like to see some cap..something like a limit of 5000.

I'm not crazy about the change. I expect there will be shortages for quite awhile. I'll be using mine and not selling any time soon. I will wait to see what shakes out of the changes first.

I am disappointed that the English forum got the "arrow[IMG] " on this one.

After this event: Handing in membership to Poop Producers Society. This farm will not be classified with those wishing to stockpile poop. Expect prices to stabilize as profits turn seasonal. As event driven as poop prices already are and have been, this change was a matter of time.

While farms attempt to figure the change out for themselves, this farm will take full advantage of those needing poop and wishing to pay maximum market price for it.

No poop stockpile to take place here.

Where can I find an exchange value for poop?

Thank goodness poop is not listed in my barn inventory.

Strategy unchanged: dump it and think about producing it during an event to cut the profits of those stockpiling it. Expect there to be bubbles in market price.

Now if there is suddenly an event call for poop, which becomes possible as further controls are implemented, then the strategy becomes a buy and turn like lettuce. Nothing serious with poop transactions thus far.

The broke poop strategy: No change in strategy required.

Woody if you're talking about the announcement concerning the manure change, it's in the Tech Announcements section, in the Bugfixes/Updates/Improvements thread. Here's the link: https://board-en.farmerama.com/inde...-improvements-february-2015.14824/#post-65259

I agree with CaliChrome...our forum definitely got "the arrow" on this one. I'm not a big fan of the change itself, and I think the timing is awful (i.e. implementing this during an event). But the thing that bothers me the most is the unfairness. Other forums (German, Spanish, maybe others) were all told about this change way before we were. None of us even had a chance to get manure in the market...it was already sold out. I understand that when it comes to things like the Grapevine, different forums are going to have rumors at different times. But when it comes to BigPoint announcements, information is supposed to be released at the same time for everyone. And when you're talking about something like this, time is of the essence because (as we've all found out), learning late means there's nothing left for us to buy, and we don't have as much as others to sell because we didn't know we could stock up. I'm not thrilled.

    Hello everyone, :(

There's only someone to blame, and that someone is me - I cannot undo this, unfortunately  all I can do is apologise. Far from being an excuse, but as an attempt to comfort you, I would like to point out that the change has been implemented without notice, and discovered later when all the sold out manure reports came in, so by the time it was announced, about 4 hours later, it was already too late to do anything. I did write the announcement late last night, after receiving clarifications, but somehow I never got to hit the post button. :( I am really sorry for this inconvenience, and I hope the manure market will stabilize quickly.
    Best regards,

As for me, I still have some animals in glade, baha and just put chickens out on main so i will not be trying to compete at market for poo, I work tonight so will rip chickens out if I have time before work and plant event crop probably utilize some of baha for event crops too since I won't be here to harvest til about 9pm. most times I don't use poo on crops under 6 hrs anyhow, but this event is a little different.

My big concern. As a test, I just bought 50 manure in my market. In my view, it shows up as added to my manure pile. How can I keep it straight so that I don't lose manure when I'm cleaning pens/workshops? I think that this change was not thought through completely. I now have "market unlimited" and "barn limited" manure co-mingled. :(

I am not so sure but I think you can't get manure from pens if you have more than the limit

Arielh, BP is telling us that the manure we purchase from the market is unlimited. If so, I should be able to have the 50 I just purchased above the amount my manure pile normally holds. BP says I can have thousands of units of manure if I buy it from the market. This means that BP can tell the difference. There is no way, however that I can. Which manure will be used on my seeds? Which manure will be sold first? This is an inventory nightmare from a player's point of view! -.--.--.--.--.-

That leaves us just with using what we produce our selves for a while. And maybe in some time there is are more clear solution to this problem. I am sure, some more farmers will notice this problem.

I'm with you, I match you frowny face for frowny face -.--.--.--.--.-. It's difficult to strategize when you have absolutely no control over the difference and no transparency with which to verify the system is working properly. Which we know it does not and quite frequently, at that. It's the nature of such a game. :sleepy:.

My strategy: no more selling or buying poo as much as I can possibly avoid it. That's going to stink with long-term crops but I don't really care. And no more RL dollars for BP. First, the stable/production pen rune change "announced" as a "bugfix"...four years later. Now, a "tech announcement" for a game feature change. I can't even go into the timing of announcements without losing my &#$%@*! mind, except to say that no, it is not Teddy's fault, because Teddy is a volunteer (I appreciate all you do, Teddy! It's extremely generous and BP is insanely lucky that so many continue to do this work for free). And since I have already ranted and raved enough about what I think volunteer moderators should be responsible for and what they should not, I have to leave it at that and back slooooooowly away from this thread. :wuerg:;)

Good luck to everyone with the new change and thank you to Mooby for pointing it out! :)

Manure has reached 110 on this market and now suddenly there are 127 offers. Prediction is for poop prices to increase and then market will begin to settle. This take several months. Will pay no more than I pay for lettuce to stockpile and then no more than 10% of that amount.

The talk on this page has gone down the sewer
There was quite a shock - where's all the manure?
But don't panic, people, its not too alarming
Managing manure is a big part of farming
    :)
You now can stock up before a cropping event
As long as you don't store it outside my tent!
    xD
When to buy or sell, its all about timing...
A prepared approach - just like with rhyming !
Like all changes, just give it a while...
And you'll be saving or making cc's in style.

I wondered where all the poo went last night, and why it disappeared as fast as it appeared on the market :(. On the one hand, it will be nice to be able to stockpile enough for the start of an event to do all my fields at least once, instead of only the first couple times as grow seed inventory. On the other hand, I am starting to see the bigger picture, and understand the concerns of everyone. Not being able to differentiate between home grown and store bought could be a big issue; I guess I won't buy any until I reach 600 in stock, but then how do I know what gets used first, like BlackCavier said? And obviously people have been buying, buying, buying - there's 17 listings of 1465 poo from one farmer on my market right now, for 111.56. That's 24905 poo and a profit of 2,778,401.80o_O. And I agree, the timing wasn't great, although by this time in an event, I rarely buy poo anyway, but I know many do. I'm going to have to learn the poo market all over again :wuerg::cry:xD.

And Teddy, we love you! You are and always will be our favoritist bear!;):inlove:
