SOS Valentine's Day Event Drops/Arrow Shafts

Hi all!

Valentine's Day Event starts today and this thread is for those who need a helping hand from fellow farmers to finish or achieve personal goals during this event.

The (very rough) estimated daily/24 hour period requirement is: 110 Arrow Shafts*

* Assuming you are lucky/skillful enough to hit Suzy Balloons every time!

If you need anything else for the event, ask for it here.

Please note:

My main farm (Illy1996) usually manages to get all drops. If I do need help, I will post here, My second farm, Chevrefeuille should be okay too and if I need help, I will post here.

So If you receive gifts from either of my farms,please do not send gifts to either of them.

If you want to return the favour, send to someone else asking for help.

Thank you illy1996 for starting this thread, I'm sure there are a lot of small players who are wondering if they will have enough drops. I have just finished the 2nd level, the first attempt with the cupid arrows went well and none went to waste. I see that for the next level 3 I will need over 70 arrows and I hope I make it. I will try to plant long term crops tonight before going to bed, anything higher than the event crops which I've been averaging 7 arrows, sometimes 10 per field per harvest. Being new, I'm not sure what's normal, but I am progressing so that's good. I know from personal experience, sometimes its exasperating when you can only give 5 gifts daily and I try to spread my gifts out to different neighbors so no one gets totally excluded. If someone finds that they can gift an arrow, it would be nice to see them go to those that might need them. I don't ever give in expectation of getting in return.... I'm grateful for whatever I do receive and I've received some wonderful gifts. If anyone finds that they could spare an arrow, I will be sure to put it to good use and reciprocate in kind when I can.

 

FarmerMolly22, there are arrows and then there are arrow shafts. You will need 70 arrow shafts for part 3. You will need more arrow shafts and event plants to make the arrows for part 4.

It's okay, Molly. I just didn't want to confuse any other players. It does get confusing when many similar terms are used in an event.

 

If anyone can send some my way that would be awesome ..... here i was thinking i was sailing along .... i dont think so now .... would be thankful for any help ..... Froggie

 

I had fantastic luck with my drops this morning after planting long term crops overnight and I am happy to report that I had enough to complete my third step. I am sure that I will be able to see my way clear in completing the fourth step. Thank you for all your help and great advice.

 

Hi Molly! Good news that you have got good drops.

Can you clarify - are you only aiming to finish up to level 4? Do you still need farmers to send you Arrow Shafts?

 

As I don"t qualify to do number 5, sadly I cannot go further, I am not at that level yet. I am okay with this and understand that there are benefits to leveling up. With each level up more comes to you, so that's a good thing. I will get there in time and this event has already given me a boost on levels. Thank you for asking, but I think I will be able to finish on my own. Everyone's help and advice helped immensely.

I am curious though to see if I will be able to navigate past level 5, which requires a level 67.... in order to do the final level 6, which only requires you to be.... a level 3. If so, I will press on, skip 5 and try to complete #6. Only time will tell i guess.

 

Unfortunately, unless you pay BBs, you can't skip level 5 to move on to level 6. Sorry.

 

No worry's, I just found it really curious that they would have a level 67 requirement before a level 3.

 

I have two farms if you need shafts send me a message to cats50 and porkchop1 will be happy to send to you. I don't think I need any have long term crops tonight and still over 80 hours to get last shafts to make 25 arrows.

 

Hey I can send some shafts have neighbors that never send anything so if you need shafts, send me message. If you want to be neighbors also let me know

 

I'm finding it hard to get enough Arrow Shaft drops to make both the Cupid's Arrows and the level requirements. Any shafts send my way are very appreciated! I'll send shafts back too tomorrow (I've send all the presents I can send today)

Yes i'm having the same issue Sheiziya....I have all the flower grown i need it's just the shortage on shafts ..... I have planted Roses so with any luck they will have a good drop yeld ... and if not i still have time for a full on planting of organic cotton ....

 

Hi sheriziya and Froggie How many more arrowshafts do you need to complete the event?

 

-Mir85- At the moment I need another 330 (including the shafts I need for Cupid's Arrows) to complete the event. It will be tough (my trophies are 11% (cropper) and 6% (farming). Those really need improvements!), but I'm determined to get there Or at least I keep my hopes up high

Definitely keep your hopes up We are halfway through the event, and you have exactly half of the required arrowshafts! (330 of 660 in total)

Mir i have 22 of the last 25 arrows milled ..... but i planted all the home lands with turkish melissia so i should get enough off of that to finish up I hope anyway lol .... so now just have to wait 11 and a half hours for them to grow lol .....
