Please note that even though lavender is a level 50 crop, the FAQ states that you need to be level 51 to complete level 3 and get the golden bananas.

How are you on the heartdrop flowers? You just need 500 lavender. How about arrow shafts? What do you need most? Event drop? EP buff? or PJ to boost harvest yields? Good luck! You are so close!

Ohhh nooo, really? I won't manage 51.

I have everything except heartdrop and lavender - I have a CAC going for yields, a tiki timer on, using all the water/supergrow etc I have still got. It will be tough but I think I can manage it now. But if level 51 is needed... bye-bye golden bananas.

 

How many points do you still need, BullCalf, to reach level 51? I see in your sig that your level 50, so maybe we all can get you to 51 together

And woot! I got level 3 and 4 completed. Only 155 more shafts and about 2000 Heartdrop Flowers to gather and I'll have the event completed!

 

I know the FAQ says 51, but I don't think that is correct. I really think as long as you have everything needed you will be able to do the step You can always ask the mods in General issues

 

bullcalf and Sheriziya, both of you also need to produce at least 15 cupid's arrows.

Thanks for the offer, Sheriziya - I have already had help from two extremely kind people to get to 50. It's another 61k to 51, so I think it's rather too much to ask of you kind folks, even if it is indeed necessary. Thanks though! And all the best for your shafts - unfortunately gifting my neighbors is the first thing I do of a morning, so I don't have any spare gifts today. Sorry.

SillyGuy - my priority is to get the rest of my heartdrop for L3, but if I have any extra time I will certainly try to get the arrows for L4 as well. That is what you mean, yes?

I completed the event today woopie!!! With a combination of good planning, time management and most importantly the advice of the wonderful people on here who are kind enough to share their knowledge with the other players to help them out! Things learnt recently that have helped majorly:
-Move the trophies around to help with drops
-Plant 1x1's to help with drops and with CAC aswell for higher crop return
-Plant the longest crop possible overnight to help with drops
All this has meant I've been able to play and complete an event without feeling like I'm conjoined to the computer, hand to mouse and that RL is something other people do....although I still feel that way with the amount of time I'm on here...lol!
So a BIG thank you to those who dish that helpful info out!!
I personally enjoyed this event, liked the new mini-game and thought the rewards were pretty fine too!
If anyone needs a hand let me know and good luck to those of you still doing the event!!

I finished the event yesterday. I could have done without the shooting thing. I grew lots of extra crops in case I needed to make more arrows. Managed with just 55 arrows. That part was dramatically easier than any of Renzo's games.

Headed back outside to enjoy more of the 70-ish weather...

Finished level 5. I have 24 arrows for the last mini game, one arrow short because I am 10 flowers short. I am waiting on 1 last field for harvest. I really miscounted those heartdrop flowers.

 

you got closer in count than me lol .....
i grew all the flowers i thought and forgot to take into account the number required to mill the arrows ..... can you say mind numbing crushing blow lol ...... hehehe i got it done though

 

Yes!! I have reached farm level 51 (although the mods have now confirmed that 50 is indeed enough), and I have completed L3 of the event. Yes, golden bananas! I am just waiting for my final harvest so I can mill a couple more arrows to finish L4.
The temple monkey is chomping on those golden bananas already and has been pleased to grant me some more land on the island in exchange.
