I got my 2nd Express train on its way just a reminder that we can send Express trains Every Hour...Silly Guy I appreciate your Links for Exchange Values but it is very difficult to read also does not tell you which pens you can buy from the stores and how much you can buy them for will do basic list for that shortly ok

 

If anyone has the cloud row from the "wolf next door" quest, it should also give more EP for the cargo from the train

 

Which cargoes do you think are the best? I think the large ones.
Do you think it is worth to do this trade?

 

I have a conundrum too ... is there any need to have Yellow Chameleons? I am tempted to throw them all at the train. Am I missing something important? Do I need to hang on to them for some reason? I have never got more than one harvest in a day out of my little chaps since I got them.

Thanks for this tip, Mir! I think I'll try one cargo of 5 Monkeys + 1 Classic Parrot. I'm not gonna trade in my (other) yellow and orange stables just yet. I need them too much.

 

It depends on what you want If your goal is orange jumbo stalls, the best chance is of course the large cargos

My strategy is this: Feed the train with 5 monkey + 1 sloth, that buys a small cargo A. Do that many times. Then I end up with several jumbo stables regular/yellow, which I am not interested in. So I use those to get large cargos I don't use my rare/valuable stables to get large cargos, that is not worth it

With water and stable runes, the regular chamelons take 12:14 and the yellow take 11:00. I prefer the yellows, since I can then comfortably get two harvest a day.

Well, I've done it! 5 Monkey playground + 1 classic Parrot house are on their way on a small cargo train...... I'll see what I get in an hour.

Thanks Mir. I didn't think there was any other reason to keep yellows. I rarely use them with the other critters. I do with the Chameleons because of the extra (lol!) EP but once the Chameleon event is over, I probably won't bother.

Thankfully, I remember to put some chicks out so I don't have to wait too long to find out what I got with my first delivery, second on its way. I did one Small Cargo C and one Small Cargo A on this farm. I forget what I did with the other one.

Edit: Just looked and found I did Small Cargo C on Illy too- I'm nothing if not consistent! My second attempt is for a Small Cargo B.

I have almost no yellow stables (except chameleons), put most of them on the train last time, and thankfully the secret wonder stables don't give yellow ones any more However I really like orange stables, have gotten several from the party wheel lately, and trying to get some more from the train So generally I don't like yellows, but when it makes the difference from over 12hrs to under 12hrs, I can make an exception

 

I can understand that Mir. My working schedule is such that, outside of events, I put my farms into "low maintenance" mode - trees and animals. When working, I either farm in the morning or the afternoon. Even when I am not working, I rarely farm all day (though it has been known!). So those multicoloured critters can just sit there dazzling themselves with their brilliance until I can get back to harvest them lol!

I decided to order another Small - Small cargo I've just received my first cargo and as soon as I have room on one of my fields I'm going to put it out there and see what it gives me! I'm looking forward to it!

 

I've been having a clear out - I'm on my third train ride now on both farms now! Think that will be it ... unless I get something good ... or something bad that goes straight back on the train!

 

As I always highlight every single event of these, unlike the jumbo trees, any of the so far available jumbo pens are, in my opinion, useless. Even though they do save PF, in all truth they occupy one 2x2 plot for too long a time for a too meagre result.

Whatever result can be cheaply bought from market with what you could produce from that plot during an alike time.

This is generally true, although recent BP tendency to ask for lower level bred animals has put such a permanent pressure on bred animals markets that only the orange jumbo pens may make some sense for some players. At least, this is valid for horses and pigs but not for goats at nowadays mkt prices of black goats. Instead, even with those hectic bred animals mkts, currently available yellow and plain jumbo pens still are a colossal waste of the limited room we have, under whatever analysis standard. (Actually, the only reason I see -apart from those wanting them for their cuteness- these pens can be of any use for anyone is only if the player logs in to the game just once every couple of days or so: with such a low frequency, there's no point in optimizing anything, whereas these pens can be a way of avoiding weed infestation while yielding some value).

I only keep the orange ones, just in case, but I already have too many of them. Whatever result I get beyond what's needed for those jumbo orange pens, goes back to the train (all surplus bases, all yellow ones).

For me, the real value of this event is getting orange/ClassicII pens of any animal. These are always valuable, whatever the result. And that's what I aim at. Best results for this purpose are achieved via the smallest cargoes.

5 monkeys+1 parrot = 40*5+30 = 230. It's not enough for even the smallest of cargoes. The minimum one is the one you are trying: 5 monkeys + 1 sloth.

 

I agree, one can never have too many orange stables I am happy to have one of each of the orange jumbos. If I get more, that's fine, but regular/yellow jumbos go straight back on the train.

I know monkeys and parrot is not enough, that's why I put Classic I parrot Which is what I used to buy, since I hadn't unlocked sloths last time the train was here

 

Aluntino: Don't you think the EP for a Yellow Jumbo is worth putting them out? Over 1000 over approximately 24 hours for the Yellow Jumbo Horse Stable. Beavers take 18 hours and only give 90. That's my reason for putting my Jumbos out. As I was saying to Mir, I can rarely harvest the stables that take over 8 or 9 hours more than once a day so the Jumbos suit me. Would love some Orange ones (might put my Yellows on the train if I had Orange ones!)

I, too, am aiming for orange or Classics but also for the orange jumbo horse. It is purely only because it gives Shetland ponies. No logical reason. All emotional.

That being said...my extra yellow pens do not give enough value to put on the train (need more than 6 spaces) so I am utilizing the 5 monkeys + 1 sloth strategy for Cargo A. Price is 21,000 CC for 250 points = 84 CC/ point

To try for a Orange Jumbo Horse, I have bought albino bats and I have plenty of tools to make some pens.

I bought albino bats at 1700 up to 2496 CC. Round up to 2500 x 4 = 10,000
Yellow bat is worth 460 points on the train. 10,000/460 = 21.74 CC/ point

I remember this strategy from before and others must have too since the bats are all sold out.

I really want a Billy Whiskers on pnp! LOL

The only orange jumbo pen I have is the goat. I did place them out for the double EP today just as I do the jumbo trees for Happy tree day.
