Wonder trees

I definitely will not be buying the package. And I see this is the last time for XL and XXL Lemon trees. hmmm....I wonder how many of those people will get? Got a feeling about that I think I would rather gamble on the "last time for these" in baha as I don't have any of those ones. Fingers and toes crossed I will get at least one of them

 

Mooboy, the new trees will be too new to be included in the next G&T (unless it doesn't happen for 4 months).

You can throw things at me any day...anytime!!!LOL I agree....if price had been less than 200bb's (150bb would be acceptable) it would have been a tempting proposal!!! Plus where is the fun....hoping, wishing to get that new, special tree?

Hoppalong - I too remember the old city....earning flying time to get to the island. Awww the good old days...now its fast & furious!! I don't dare miss an event...or I could be without a necessary tree, animal, recipe or cloud row! Eeeek!!!
Aluntino - Geez....you are too smart and reasonable!!! It's too bad we couldn't hold to a boycott of the packages, until they reduced the price. We know, wink wink...that there are those of us too enamored with the "new,shiny" things in this game! LOL I'm proud you will be "militantly rejecting" their offer.

I looked at OA and just shake my head, BP (aka big pockets) needs to come back down to earth! This is insane, constant sales requiring real money or bb , just looks to me like BP does NOT care one whit about their player base. Many of us are always short on bb and RM I will also militantly reject this "guarantee of 1 new tree offer" *blows raspberries * , I also agree with Aluntino, many are so enamored of new shiny things that the cost doesn't enter into it, they just gotta have it. again shaking my head.

 

I guess I'll be trying a few on Baha as I don't have any of the "last-time-to-get-ones", maybe a couple on the farm, and if there is no new shiny tree, then so be it *shrug*. No way I am gonna buy one of those packages

 

I just planted 15 wonder trees on baha and 30 on mainland. Still have some BB, so if I don't get anything good with this harvest I will try again...

 

i only bought 4 wonder trees and guess what i got !!!!! yep u guessed right 3 yes 3 xxl lemon trees n 1 sukura i will not buy anymore . i've got enough lemon trees now to make lemonade for the entire south

Not much luck so far, have planted some more.

 

Now we all know any companies goal is to generate revenue, without revenue the company eventually ceases to exist. With this attempt, I choose to believe that BP as a company was trying to respond to players requests in conjunction with their main goal. Right track imho but agree the package price offered is a bit to high.
Many mentioned G&T event, wonderful event for us farmers! The one event which allows players to obtain needed or missing game aspects, for free! From a company stand point hmmm.. not much in it for them except perhaps the purchase of a few additional GL..oh yes and a bunch of happy players..
back to Secret Seedlings..
I will purchase the amounts I always purchase each event as my individual game goals have not been met yet.. but will start with 30, not the package.. just 30 trees.. I am also curious what the outcome shall be.
to spend or not, elective choice as it should be

A bit disappointed with the results. Did not dare to hope for a new tree, but had hoped for either a Loquat or Blackthorn plum. Not sure what to make of the XXL peach. They used to be very sought after during G&T, but I am afraid they might not be anymore. I have won several on the farm wheel, but they don't come with a base, so I now have 8 XXLs, but only 5 peach trees

Over All I got the Amherstia Tree on my Third Seeding and Very please to get Tamarind Tree too, got some XXL Trees but not the XXL Trees I wanted but got some more Rare Trees overall happy with it I might get 10 More Seedings

Mir85 as least you got more XXL Trees than me lol I got a better Deal than buying that seeding Bundle for 210 BB to get Amherstia Tree got it

 

Well, I caved in buying the two packages...

I mostly agree with all of you that this is becoming too much. Plus the fact that now the rare trees don't stay too much during the seedlings event (three, four events tops) makes this a strategy that will blow in Big Pockets face (yes, Brooke! I laughed!)
Anyway, it has been a long time since I invested in baha seedlings and already got a big scare at knowing that carob tree would be the last time to grab it!!! What?? So soon??
Bought the package plus 20 seedlings more. Imagine my fright when I didn't realize I didn't get one yet until I "opened" the last three. Luckily, three carob trees!! Pheew! That was close!
To join the sure amherstia from the package came along three more! Not bad! Pity that there were so many XL regular trees and XL rare trees. No pistachio XXL still...
But all in all, a balanced bunch of carobs, poinciana, parrot feather, tamarind, Buddha's hand and Amherstias.

Now, for the main farm...
One sure Kowhai and 30 seedlings from the package...
Absolutely no loquat, blackthorn or more Kowhai...
I felt like I spent 210 BB's for one tree.

See you in three mystery seedling's event, Big Pockets!! If not longer!!

Nothing worth mention on Mainland except one Blackthorn.
Some nice stuff on Baha. No tamarind or Buddha's hand but one Amherstia!

All your Amherstias and Kowhais make me want to try some more, but I am afraid of how it will end

 

No Kowhai here but I did get a blackthorn (my first) and my favorite XL apple to go with my yellow chickens from the train.

One Amherstia on Baha along with a few XXL, the best being 1 XXL Lychee.

 

If you do decide to try some, I'd go with the Baha ones. Looks like Amherstia is more likely than Kowhai.
