The only feedback that I have is that the drop rates seem very low.
I can't imagine that I'll be able to complete this event.
    Thanks

I didn't bother to do events for at least a couple of years; they had become too many, too similar and too few rewards for too much effort, time, RM products (suzi, supergrow etc) and it seemed the developers had lost the creative and entertaining edge - which kept most of the long-time players. I came back because some of them looked more interesting, but having now played two or three, I'm wondering 'WHY'.

The rewards for this event are not sufficient for me to think 'hmm, this is worth doing'. The harvester immediate activation did annoy me. I thought they'd finished with those, and there was no indication that the 8 hours harvester functions would start immediately you dumped all the flowers and hats into the event. I did it just before I went to bed and thus the eight hours passed whilst I was asleep and doing other RL things. Shouldn't anything touted as a prize, as least be used and / or useful to the player - not just something thrown in as a pseudo-reward.

If you are going to offer rare pens or trees as prizes, should they be something many players don't already have a dozen or more of. The Dovecote is nice, but which developer was it who thought 'Okay, we'll give them a Glowworm field as a top prize, that'll be new and exciting'. Really - a 'not so rare' pen that's been around for years.

The drop rate is quite low and combined with the other issues, I have decided I shall not bother to waste time completing this event - which is supposed to be a tropical Carnival. Which brings me to my final and actually a quite important one - because it goes to the heart of why some events are seen as purely money spinners. Can an one of the developers explain - apart from the peacock flowers and couple of Baha products - which bit of this is tropical themed?

Neither a dovecote nor a glowworm can even remotely be considered tropical. Couldn't there at least have been a Baha pen, like a camel (more desert than tropics, but close enough), or like the Chameleon a completely new Baha animal.

Both the decorations are sort of relevant and the elephant confetti cannon is cute and a change from the traditional cannons, however, I can't honestly say these are decorations that would make me want to keep doing this event. Most higher level players already have an inventory bursting at the seams with decorations and if they get these, I suspect they will languish unplaced - including several cannon (I think I've got five or six).

So all in all this event seems almost an afterthought and certainly didn't appear to have much thought put into it - displaying a lack of imagination combined with a feeling of ennui in the developers.

Why is the drop rate set so impossibly low? Is it a dev error by any chance? Can it be reset???

    8) I'd have to agree with most of the above comments - especially the drop rate. Harvest Helper Day did seem to double the drop rate on my farm, though.....but that is only one day. I can only hope that the drop rate will stick around after HHD.
I DO like the 'rare' pens, especially the glowworm pen, which I am slowly collecting. The design and animation of the glowworm tree was inspired!! Beautiful! I'd love to fill the Magical Glade with glowworm trees and just watch the whole field flicker and glow, lighting up the entire Glade! Now THAT would look 'Magical' - or - maybe like a Carnival, not tropical of course, but...maybe a Spring Fling! lol!:D
Sadly, overall, the rewards aren't very..err..rewarding.:(

Love the 4hr growing time :inlove: such a nice pace after all those 8hr growing events.
Not excited about the choice of animal stables as rewards, but should make lower level players and newbies happy -.-

Would rather the event have been more geared towards Bahamarama seeing it is a Carnival event ;)
All this complaining about low drop rates and we still have 108 hrs left of event  Am level 96, have lots of Magic Trees and I still don't have all the drops as I'm growing all the crops first ( hard around work) but as soon as crops are done, will have no problem with long crops getting remainder of drops. Why does everyone think they should finish on day 2 of a one week event o_O

The Graphics are awesome once again :inlove:

I'm enjoying this carnival event. Easy pace, have pratically all crops by the end of day 2 which is exactly what I'm always looking for: Event crops begone quickly!:wuerg:

However, I miss a 24-hour event. You know, those easy ones to donate regular stuff in the barn in exchange for some goodies. If BP was going to deliver an easy event (and I think it should every now and then) wouldn't mind to see a few of those ones. It has been a very long time since the last time they did.
Valentine's day so close to carnival could have lead to one of them being a short-time event. Pity it didn't, though... :(
    And where's the oscar event?

Although not for me particularly, I think Dovecote is a good choice for a prize. Well done!:)
Don't understand why the glowworm again... o_O Aren't there any other old rare pens to give?o_O Or is it going to lead to breed fireflies in the future?

EP items are very good once again. And kinda cute. :)

The real smack in the face is the lack of stars. Why?????????-.-

I was waiting to finish the event before putting my feed back, I am almost done now, just waiting for the drop items to finish, the event was easy for me, no complains, the rewards are good , I would have appreciated more EP and BEP rewards for step 4, but it is not a big deal and the EP givers are very good, the only thing I am wondering about out of curiosity since I saw some players Complaining about the drop rate, does each event has it is own set up for the mechanism of the drop rate for the event drop items, or it is a formula for all the events but effected by different elements in the game.

    I like this event.
I like this event because it is easy.
Where is written that all events must be hard and chelenging?
From time to time, we should have, some laid back - easy going - no need for strategising, event like this.

Oh, and there are Glowworms as reward ... yeah. :inlove:

Overall seems a relatively easy event, though I am not sure about the drop rate for people who cannot plant the longer-term crops. Even so, its hard to say if the rate really should be increased. Difficult is not necessarily bad, since easy also means "no challenge" and no challenge, over time, just gets boring.

I am quite happy to see the glowworm pen as a prize. I have been wanting more of those. Other prizes are not so appealing to me. I have several dove pens already, but that is just "luck of the draw". Other people might be more happy about the dove pen than the glowworm pen.

I don't really expect huge rewards since this is a relatively easy event. Getting a glowworm pen is quite nice for the effort. I do like that you are "switching things up" a bit, but definitely still feel its way too many events too often. Too many events AND too many mini events, even though I like most of them. I still think having a difficult event paired with a very easy one is a good idea -- make it a repeating event, but one that folks can only complete once (on further thought, posting details on that in suggestion thread).

Agree entirely - couldn't put it better. This is not a difficult event, seemingly aimed at mid level players who may be motivated by the prizes. The drop rate is low but we have plenty of time to do the event - I have finished growing the crops, without manure or supergrow and 90 hours left of the event in which to collect hats.
Graphics are lovely but can't understand why this is not giving more bahamarama rewards.
I think this is a fair event, well balanced for those beginning or mid way through their farm journey.

Nice easy event for once, nice pace means I can grow long term crops whilst I'm at work and the event crops whilst at home. I haven't noticed much change in drop rate but that is because I am mixing up the event crop and long term crops. The prizes are uninspiring although the stables will be nice for some. Personally I would have preferred some mystery stables or something pink ;)

It was Easy to grow Event Crops this Time round since it was only 4 Hour Crops. I am one of those who had a good start to drop items will be completing this event with last remaining fruit hats.

I like the two Bahm EP Givers they both give good EP too. But it would have be nice to given us an Wolf Pen or Kiwi Pen rather than a Glowworm or Dovecote:p

Easy going.....With the short growing time of the event crop, there is enough time to grow regular crops to compensate for the low drop rate.....the rewards seem a little poor compared to what was handed out in earlier events and quests....
Only point I don't understand is, that there are no stars to be gained....with an easy event like this, that would have been an extra for lower level players/farmers who are still working on tree runes.
A refreshing surprise was the absence of a cloud row reward...and as always the deco items are the best....

    Is it just me or...
    1) Are the prizes too good for the work required? The amount of crops needed is NOTHING given that one can do just the first layer of each level to get to the layers/levels where one can earn the glowworm and dovecote. It seems so out of proportion, given the huge crop requirements for other events with wimpier prizes.
    2) Is the droprate too low, again? Ah, herein lies the rub. A player can grow the crops (peacock flowers) no problem, but the droprate earned on this 4hour crop will never get enough drops (hats) to complete all layers of all levels. One will need to do some overnight long-growing crops to get some better drop rates.

ETA: I myself have already earned my dovecote and glowworm, and have all the peacock flowers I need to finish ALL layers of the event. However, with days left in the event I find myself woefully short of hats. I'm not too worried about it; if I earn them, great, if not, who cares? It's not like I'm missing out on earning some extra STARS or anything.

P.S. Love the peacock flowers. Can we keep them?

Nice relaxed event for me. I liked the options of different products that could be donated even though it only made sense economically to donate parrot feathers. I liked that the number of crops was reasonable and I like the rare pens as prizes. The best part was the new Baha EP givers. For it to be tropical carnival, I thought it would be an event isolated to the island. Possibly ask for tropical fruits and low animals (parrots, monkeys) on a level instead of main animals. Mix it up a little.

As a higher level player, I am not motivated by stars at the moment since there has been no follow up discussions from producers/developers about what we can do with excess stars but lower level players still need them to open runes on the tree to enhance the game. I think all events with the FSQ structure (silver, gold, diamond) should have stars as rewards.
