In Norwegian it is common to use "he" when referring to an animal, male or female, so I guess it might be a translation from a language where that is common

Oh Mir85, don't I know that, this advice was not meant for the like of you and me, I have all the jumbo trees with there upgrades in quantities, it is about priorities, for the payers who are lower level and did not witness the event yet, besides those trees give 1 piece every 48 or 36 hours (not the SG) and BP is giving too many of these(turbo mulch and SSG) as rewards in every event, beside mega ep day and happy tree days usually comes over while there is main events and the land is occupied and the players are struggling to finish the event crop, also spending cc on xl trees to throw on the train is expensive to some players, throwing these and in return you get some unwanted xl tree, it is gambling and it is not like the sans gigantica express, you saw the results for the animal train, and still many players complains, may be it was better for me to say, if you can afford it go for it, if not better wait .

I think, we need basil, pine cone and mulberry instead of blackberry for the platypus feed. Maybe 6-4-4.

It is a Platypus. Cute little animals, Seen many in the wild and on my grandads own farm, he had a little family of platypuses that bred in one of the creeks. We would be excited every time we saw the babies swim with ther mum. It would be a great animal to have here. The female look after the young and they hatch from eggs and suckle from her, until the are big enough to find they on food. Crayfish,worms and small fish.

It looks like we may get the platypus pretty soon. There's a picture of him in my news page, under the title New Chameleon Breeding. (the pic is obviously a mistake) It also looks like you can buy 30 secret stables, and get a guaranteed platypus. I guess we'll soon see.

Thanks also for the picture of the new habitat, I think it's very cute ! Like the way the platypus bobs up and down and the snoring guy on the side.. well that could related to numerous players.. Nice to see a few more stables structured around water themes. There are plenty of green stable backgrounds already, who knows maybe we'll be in for a treat with some more different colors soon

Arielh , my guess would be a normal pen . Others might know , but I can`t recall a production pen getting released with the introduction of a new animal .

 

Hopefully this platypus won't require you need to be a high level player in order to be able to make the feed. Between the feed for kiwi bird (need to be lv 95 I think) and feed for chameleon (have to have lychee tree opened) I get a little disheartened So if I want these animals in my barn I have to buy the feed and I normally make my own feed. And my comment about the new quest listed above....good grief!! Another quest with animal pens that I certainly don't have which is fine, someday I will have them. But in the meantime, in order to earn stars now, one must do FSQ's and it seems like all the new ones are needing rare pen animals which translates to taking longer to fill the quests in order to get stars. I understand some players that have been playing longer have accumulated stars but for players who are still working on the tree of wisdom, this is going to make it much harder to open those runes. Or maybe I'm just in a mood that is making me see it this way.

 

I really like that pen! Generally I prefer getting old animals updated, but I'm already partial to these little critters.
