I voted for a mix. I do agree that level animals that do not have production pens and breeding should be a priority. I also agree that there should be just a regular Baby Boom to work on the existing quest in the F.S. But then there are the Cuckoos to finish to get that cloud row and what about all the other secret/wonder animals that could be breeding and the babies are so cute. Is there even enough time in the year to complete all the breeding we need to do? I am definitely gonna try because I love it all.

I voted for the existing animals if the quests are here to stay. But what I do not like about the breeding animals is the "timed" introductory quest. The PF are too precious to waste them, so I wait for Baby Boom to breed. We have already many quests related to breeding, I skipped the short time introductory quests because there is neither enough time nor enough PF to do them during Baby Boom only. If you do non timed breeding quest, it's OK because we can work on them as we please, or as we can afford it.

Voted do NOT like breeding events.

PowerFeed too expensive, in every way.

I voted against the breeding events. I love Baby Boom but there are so many quests that require breeding that you cannot keep up. I have so many unfinished quests & it seems that every BB there is a new one added. It would be nice to just have a BB with no quest added so that we could work on the ones we already have.

    Hi!

While I voted for the mix, I feel that there have been too many breeding quests and quests requiring breeding animals in the past few months. I only breed during BBDs, because PF is far too expensive otherwise (it's still expensive, but at least there's hope for a greater reward), but I feel like I'm not making any progress (or very slow progress at best) on most of the current quests, because there's always a short-time breeding quest associated with the BBD that my FOCD insists must be completed. There are so many breeding-related FSQs now, that I would love to see the occasional BBD that does NOT coincide with a short-time breeding-related quest.

Edit: Though with the removal of stars from all short-time quests, I am seriously considering sitting future event quests out, or only completing those levels that are worth it (like with the current chameleons, I'm only going for the two orange stalls, and won't be completing any other levels). Which means => less breeding => less PF necessary => less RM to buy PF => less profit for BP. BP shot themselves in the foot there. -.-

On the plus side, this BBD I can actually focus on FSQs. :D

I absolutely loved breeding, but too many breeding quests makes me start to love it a bit less. As many noticed here, breeding is an expensive feature. It requires big amounts of power feed, but also a lot of animals and pheromones. It’s also pretty time consuming, as there is no harvesting function to fill the breeding fields and we have to do it all manually.

I prefer the system that we have in the past – new breeding animal (mostly from the already existing ones) every 3-4 months. New quests like cuckoo events or quests with baby animals are of course a nice idea, but they shouldn’t happen every month! That’s much too often for the expensive breeding feature.

In the past I use to omit some of the baby boom events just to have time to have more power feed for the next time. I don’t have fun in putting out 10 breeding fields and play with them for on our hour or less than that. The real fun is when I have enough goods to put out breeding fields all over the farm and breed for many hours using maximum amount of pheromones and pink jelly of course.

During one BB I often use up to several thousands of power feed. But I won’t do that every month. Too much breeding quests like those with cuckoos or baby animals starts to slowly spoil the fun. We really need time in between those quests to relax a bit and gather some resources to have them for the next event. And of course… to breed animals for the permanent breeding quests (I still have a lot of them to finish).

And for addicted Farmerama players, not taking part in some events is always the worst possible solution. If you spend so many years with the game you don’t want to be excluded from some events because of too high requirements!

To summarize, I vote for the mix, but in this mix first of all it should be existing animals. Short time breeding quest shouldn’t happen as often as it was in the past few months. Give as a break! Especially now when the breeding effects are often much worse than they used to be in the past, and reaching animals from highest stages (from the normal breeding animals) takes ages and tones of power feed. Otherwise the breeding events might lost their magic and only deter us from the game.
