Feedback Question Tuesday CW11: Runes

Howdy Farmers,

It's Tuesday again! This week we would like to know what type of runes do you prefer.

Please choose one of the poll answers, and if you wish to provide further constructive feedback, please do not hesitate to do so. Examples and rune proposals are appreciated.

Please note - by Miscellaneous Runes we mean runes that give things like CCs, BBs or the Peach tree. The others should be self explanatory.

While I voted for what I like best, I really like all the runes.

While I voted for "I like all runes", here is the actual breakdown:

Breeding-related: I opened the two that decrease breeding times and give a better chance of skips, but haven't opened the others unless I needed a 7th level breeding animal to donate to a quest. The "breeding basket" runes aren't very important to me.

Crafting-related: The ones that give extra artisan points, and open up the spa and alchemist, are very high on my list for the next ones to open, but I don't yet have enough stars. (Thank you BP for restoring stars as quest rewards. )

More space: I'm always looking for more space, and would love a few more of these.

Bahama-related: These would depend on what the runes were, but I'm likely to use them.

Buffs: These are always on my priority list.

Miscellaneous: These can be useful, especially if some of the suggestions in the previous thread (this one) are added to the tree.

Just some thoughts.

I had a really hard time choosing in this poll! I kept changing my mind between Bahamarama runes and Space runes but in the end I picked space, partly because I don't know what you have in mind when you say BH runes and partly because I've wanted more space for years. ...thing is the place where I want more space the most is on Bahamarama . There are soooo many crops, trees, animals and workshops that have to compete over such a small space on that island.

Aside from that, it would be wonderful to get a rune to open up more space for animals (I'm not terribly interested in space for trees until there are more tree-related FSQs). Another rune I would love is one for stacking stables to save space. (First level rune --> stacking two stables, second level rune --> stacking three stables, and so on), preferably with the ability to add our upgrades as well.

 

The breeding baskets would be more interesting if the "pens" weren't display pens for earning a tiny amount of EP but were actual animal raising pens. I still remember how disappointed I was when I found that out. (You could leave in the display pens for bats and crows as you have a different system for earning those.)

 

Bleh, I messed up my vote. Meant to go for 'like all runes' but ended up with 'misc runes' instead.

 

I am torn between more space and Baha, but opted for more space since Baha is a tad unspecific. I don't necessarily want Baha breeding animals more than regular animals. Then again, I like all breeding runes, animal runes...I just don't have the stars yet.

Really about the only ones I am not all that interested in are some craft runes.. particularly alchemist, but I cannot say I actually dislike those runes, other than the alchemist ones.

You had a thread earlier where people were suggesting a lot of things. I don't remember all the suggestions right now, but I would like to see some of those implemented. A bigger manure pile and water tower is probably something a lot of people would want.

 

I seriously would like to see a bb tree offered on a rune. That would be very helpful to all players, and it would be fair to all.

 

If the poll question is about what I like to see next (new rune) then I will go direct to more space for the urgency, now there is too many animals and trees, and the designers keep bringing these more frequent than before, so that's what I voted for, but if it is just about what I like most from the available runes, I would say I like them all, but we have too many for breeding and for the crafting trade, so the other runes mentioned like buff runes and miscellaneous are more needed at the moment beside the rune for more space.

This was an easy one for me, space! I would love to see a rune that would allow planting trees in the park.

 

I have opened all the runes on Illy and most of the others apart from the artisan products ones on this farm (I haven't opened any workshops yet) and the breeding animal/starter kits - saving them just in case of need later on. I would love to see another cloud row rune that gives BBs - even one a day would be so cool!

 

I didn't cast a vote yet because I'm really torn...
I like the idea of buff runes. But I don't know what they have in mind with that.
If it means increase chances of a breeding skip by 5%, then it's a useless buff because they fix chances anyway at their own will...

BUT if it means:
increasing effectiveness of water, manure, tools drop, artisan ingredients,...
decrease time growth of crops, workshops, animals, trees...
2 breeding animals for sure, instead of one only (never below the one that was put)...
Plus more related stuff that I can't remember now
Then I'm all for it!!!

But space would be so wonderful...

And why is baha-related runes there???
I believe the only existent baha rune is to open it. Right? Or I missed something?

Is the question in the present or in the future???

Another pretty tough question. It’s not so easy to choose one type of runes that I prefer, but also the answer that I like all of them is not quite true. I like all the runes that are just useful for me. On the tree of wisdom there are some runes that we desperately fight for and some that we just have to pass to reach the ones we really want. Also among runes of the same type some are better and desired and some pretty unattractive (crafting is a good example – were all depends on the craft itself).

Breeding-related runes – Most useful are the two runes that gives advantage during breeding – shorter breeding time and chance for additional babies. The rest… good to have them just in case, but not so important for me. I usually don’t even unlock them, although I have many stars left.

Crafting-related runes – as I wrote earlier they depend on the craft itself. It’s also important at what stage you are in the game. Right now the least attractive runes are those that belongs to the Alchemist. SPA is much better and most useful when you need many products that helps getting points for Bahamarama. When I wanted to level up faster in any of the crafts, the runes that gives additional artisans points are very useful. Runes that gives some ingredients were not that attractive as the amounts we get are very small.

Runes for more space – Existing runes that gave more space (Baha and Magic Glade) seems to be most important. Space is always very valuable on the farm. Now when there are so many kings of crops, trees, stables, there is always not enough space even for a small part of those things that we need to grow. Most trees and stables lays in the inventory. New runes that could give some more space would be very useful, although this should be carefully balanced. I guess I won’t be the only one, who won’t be happy if we will have to grow even more event plants during or have too many fields to harvest (even with the harvester) when we don’t have much time and the game is loading very slowly. Also having the chance to grow everything ourselves will kill the market.

Bahamarama-related runes – hmm… apart from breeding runes that were removed from the tree of wisdom and moved to the monkey temple, the only important rune related to Bahamarama that I remember, was the rune that unlock the island. For new players Bahamarama was, is and probably will be important, because it gives access to quests where they can get more stars and unlock more runes. Now when stars are sadly not given in event quests, this much become even more important.

Buff runes – buffs are always very welcome as they often helps in achieving things faster. So I always tried to unlock them as fast as possible.

Miscellaneous stuff runes – some were pretty useful in the past, but those are often onetime runes so I forget about them very fast

I don't use the tree of wisdom! – lately it’s close to the truth…., but only because I have no more interesting runes to unlock :X

I like all the runes – “I would like more new, useful runes of different kinds” would be much closer to the truth. As I wrote above it’s hard to like all runes, as some of them are just not useful for me at the moment. Maybe this will change in the future…

Breeding Related Runes... We Already Have Rune that Gives a Level 5 Breeding Animal. So When a new Breeding Event Starts we get this Addition Anyway. Also We Get a Breeding Starter Pack too. We already have a Rune reduce breeding time and a cloud row too, plus the use of Pink Jelly and Pheromones Too.
Suggestions for Breeding Runes would be...

• To Increase the The Percentage of Getting Better Skips currently it is 20%. As we could appreciate to get Better Skips to Help Us make progress on Completing Breeding Quests. As to Many of us the Breeding Quests Just Keeps Building Up uncompleted dur to finding it very Hard and Expensive to Complete Level 8, 9 and 10 of Breeding Quests
• A Tiered Runes for Power Feed Bundles such as 25 PF, 50 PF, 75 PF and 100 PF
• The Best Rune would be allowed To Mill Power Feeds on the Island Feature

Crafting Related Runes... We have Booster Runes for All Crafts it actually the Most Expensive Stars Runes, to Unlock 5% Booster, then 10%, then 15%,20% and 25% it costs 400 Stars to Unlock This for Each Craft. There is already Runes to give us additional Salt, Sugar and Wires, Herbals etc.
Suggestions for Crafting Runes would be...

• Unlock a Receipe to Boost Drops for Herbals and Wires by 50% as We have Beady Eye Jelly and Venus Fly Traps that do this for Sugar and Salt.
• Rune to Give a Small Bundle of Salt and Salt Trees Near Future for Herbals Trees(This would be great for those miss out getting salt and sugar Trees)
• There is Beady Eye Jelly and Venus Fly Traps Receipes as you need to be TGC Member to get this, But Now TGC Members can no longer Get these Special Receipes . It would be great to get runes so that we can unlock these

More Space Runes... Many of Us Cant Get Enough Space to Grow All The Things We need. The Main Problem is Amount of Animals and Production Pens we can get. Some of Us our Parks and Shipwreck is Full too. No Room for Surplus EP Givers Etc. So Surplus Trees in our Farms too.
Suggestions for More Space would be...

• New Rune to Unlock a New Orchard For Trees
• Tiered Rune to Unlock Orchard Space Such as Area 1, Area 2, Area 3 and Area 4 just like the Shipwreck
• Rune Allowed to Use Bahm EP Givers in the Park some of us the Shipwreck is already full of Bahm EP Givers

The Coral Reef is Under Going Developments to Give us more Space anyway. But will have very Limited Space to grow Bahm Crops and Animals. More Space in this Area would be Greatly Appreciated.

Buff Runes..... We Always Struggle with Limitation of 1 Diamond Slot and 2 Gold Slots. In The Alchemist we can get Gnomes to Activate a Diamond or Gold Slot. But it is not a Controlled Feature as it put many of us using Alchemist Plus the slot Effects is Random as we like to choose how to make the most of using Buffs. Plus We have Many Clouds Rows Where Buffs cannot be used in Conjunction with Cloud Rows.
Suggestions for More Buffs....

• A Rune to Unlock Cloud Row that gives us an additional Diamond Slot for Limited Time or Permanent
• A Rune to Unlock Cloud Row that gives us an additional Gold Slot for Limited Time or Permanent
• A Rune to Allow Buffs Effects on Cloud Rows such as Easter Marmalade or Spring Wreath

Bahamarama Related Runes....

There is no Longer any Bahamarama Related Runes on the Glade Wisdom Tree, These have now be converted to Statues in the Temple and Need a Fair Amount of GBs to Unlock Each Statues.

Suggestions that is Bahamarama Rated Runes...

• Tired Runes to Convert Stars into GBs such as 50 Stars for 5 GB, 100 Stars for 10 GB etc
• Rune to Unlock to be able to Mill Power Feeds on the Island
• Unlock Rune to be Allowed to Get Tool Drops on the Island as currently cannot get Tool Drops on the Island

Miscellaneous stuff runes

We have Growing Demand of Cloud Rows, It is getting Tiresome or Annoying to Click so Many Cloud Rows. The Most Useful Rune is to be able to Have a Cloud Row Harvester Rune.

Lately we have been getting New Tools Drops of Drip Tanks, Scrap Metal and Zen Rakes, Perhaps it would be great if we have Runes to unlock New Refinements to Boost Drops on Drip Tanks and Scrap Metal and Zen Rakes. Many of us have unlock all XXL Tool Boxes that give us better Chance of getting these drops but lately Quests have been giving us XL Tools Boxes which not help that much to get these needy Tool Drops.

For Me I voted Bahamarama Runes want more help to get More GBs or Help Level up !!!

 

I prefer runes for more space. But these runes are only 4 for the magical Glade.
But of course I like other runes as well.

 

I Agree with the comments given by Mooboy.
I hesitated between space and buff. I voted for buff, thinking of speeding or increasing the harvest of animals, trees, and seed. but an extra diamond slot would be excellent. However a space rune is just as needed.
I do not find the craft runes useful. I have not opened the alchemist, because the rewards do not seem worth it. I have too much salt and wires already. Will be glad to exchange my salt tree and wire tree for a rare tree. I think the most useful craft shop is the confectionery, because of pumpkin jams and CAC.
Breeding related rune would be great if they gave more skips, more triplets and guaranteed getting only animals above the one you breed. Baby Boom gives us many lower level animals.
More runes are especially needed for more advance players, as there are already many runes for beginners. But once you have opened all the one useful to you, there is nothing left. Advanced players need new runes to help with the numerous new quests that have been added lately. A rune that let you choose a rare tree or a rare animal would be great.
