Drip tank

My strategy, just forget about the Chameleons. It's a normal product quest and a normal breeding quest, nothing to go crazy over as there's no reward for speed of quest completion.
I pulled most of the chameleon stalls off my field and I'll check back in a month or so and hope the drops will improve.

I've looked at the rewards for the bio-glue FSQ. They are so not worth the rewards.

 

I harvested Hazelnuts and I got one drip tank. Still 6 to built a bio-glue lab.

 

I got one from harvesting trees this morning. I still need 4 more...

I haven't gotten any drip tanks from harvesting (and I have a mix of trees, short & long pens (including jumbos), short & long crops...). The 6 in my inventory came from completing as many FSQ steps as possible that would give toolboxes as a reward. I've given up on making bio-glue for the foreseeable future. That quest is taunting me...

cpeterson, have you really looked at the rewards for the bio-glue FSQ? Hardly worth all those chameleons needed to create the 480 bio-glue needed to complete the quest.

 

But I am sure one can make good CC from selling the bio-glue for some months, that's my plan anyway

This is true, but I need the stars, and have finished all of the easier quests.

So far I tried 398 single fields with Hazelnut,Onions, Kohlrabi (Turnip), Spelt.....not a single Drip Tank....the only drop from a tree was from a Blackthorn Plum.....and this with both trophies complete, rune for trophies filled, at least one Howie per field. There is a Hen House on each field, Jumbo Trees and higher level or rare stables all over the place and....zilch. The only reliable source for Drip Tanks so far, at least for me, are toolboxes. Maybe there's a knot in the supply line somewhere that will burst sooner or later, as it did with Zen Rakes and Scrap Metal. Or, as others experienced, I have to settle for Corn only.

 

The price on both my markets is terrible so I am just hanging on to my Bio-Glue or am I stuck to it?

 

I would suggest filling the swimming pool with bio-glue, as soon as you get your hands on a snorkel, put it on and jump in, then you'll be stuck to it

 

I got 2 as drops and know that they came from Blackthorn trees, I recieved an additional 4 from the short term breeding quest. Then I just gave in and bought a few tool boxes to build a Bio-Lab.
This morning I checked the barn just to see if I had gotten any more....much to my surprise, I had 10 sitting there
So I think they will be like the scrap metal and zen rake....once you have a production pen going, they will start showing up better. Or at least that is the way it seems to be with me

Don't forget the "rumored" 2nd Soup and Friends.... They will be a highly sought after item

 

This farm has managed to build 3 and Illy has 2 Bio-Glue Labs. All but one (or maybe two ... might have missed one dropping ) have come from toolboxes. I had a lot of level 7 breeding quests which I managed to finish - all those breeding animals .

Such is the randomness of drops eh JJenks?

 

3 drip tanks to go and I might be able to build one. Hopefully prices will be on the up then so I'll enjoy a little cc boost!

 

Been stuck at 5 drip tanks since the Breeding Event.

 

I now somehow have 9 drip tanks. I missed the drop of a few of them. I know I got several of them from toolboxes from quests, but the others.... No idea. And this while I've watched the drops carefully to see if I would get a driptank.... /* /me shrugs...*/ Oh well. Happy to have them

 

There is always that elusive gift and trade event... lol
