Lyra mystery stable event....what did you get?

OK, I admitted. I cannot resist the temptation. So, I buy 2 more stable.
It's a bad habit when you had some BB on hand (I keep telling myself that they are
for buying the machinery.. But ...OK spend 30BB is max!)
Total bought half dozen. Wish some good luck on this final 2

 

Second batch of 8 was harvested and i got:
Mouse (makes 7 total, 4 out of the last 16 stables)
Dovecote (now have 2)
Raccoon (now have 2, both from this round of stables)
Sheep II: Orange (second of these on my farm so im happy with that)
Donkey II: Orange (Pretty happy as its the first Orange for Donkey's for me)
Horse III: Red (First Red Horse, have two Orange already)
and
Beehive III: Red (First Red Beehive, will go nicely with my orange Beehive from last event)

Overall pretty happy with this haul. Still would like some Workshops or the elusive Platty, Kiwi ect ect. Wife did get a Kiwi in one of her batches, so here's hoping i get one too At this rate i will be able to have my own Mouse army considering i only have one Cat and he's getting sick of Mice lol

 

What workshops are you hoping for? I got quite a few workshops that will remain in inventory so if they would be useful to you, let me know. Since this is the cat's final time in mystery stables, it seems there were a high rate of them given. I am sure you won't have a hard time getting another cat to help keep down the mice population next G/T.

Thanks PNP! Honestly since i still consider myself new, and have a ton of quests to complete, i need a little of everything. Im also working on upgrading things from yellows to at least orange and even red versions. What i dont have so far that i really want is some old rare animals. Hamster is what i would love, so im looking forward to the next G/T. There are a few others that i can buy for BB (just not sure i want to spend that much BB on a pen). And then a few that im not sure where they come from... lol (Bear, Dog, Groundhog, Moose, Owl, Reindeer) And as far as workshops go, there are two very rare ones (Moose Hall, Cheese Factory).

Just harvested my third batch of 8.

Hedgehog (#2 for me)
Mole (#3 for me)
two Raccoon (#3 and 4 now, which is good because i have a raccoon mask workshop)
Wolf (#3 but i love wolves)
Beehive III: Red (#2 yay)
Chicken II: Orange (#2 yay)
Shearing Shed II: Orange (#1 of a colored version so very very happy)

Still not Platypus but thats okay cause i have a few more stables to try with

 

Used up all my BB's - got a selection including two kiwis and my first wolf !
No platypus but happy to wait until next time.

 

Got me 18 pens as there were quite some rare animals I do not have. Hoped to get at least some of them ... 4 of them were Beavers, 3 yellow rabbit sheds :-( Though I am happy over the platypus I got, that gets somehow dampened by the rather dissapointing results of the rest of them... still no racoons, kiwi, wolfs, hegdehogs etc.

 

Sorry if the emotions were confusing... because that is my first cat kennel, sorry that I can't exchange. (but if I get another cat kennel then I will be happy to exchange with you)

I think it is farmlily3, because:
1. farmlily3 doesn't "like" farmerlily22 post and farmerlily22 doesn't "like" farmlily3 post.
2. they come at almost the same time
3. both live in USA (information from somewhere in the forum)
4. both are female... (from here)
5. they appear at the same place
6. Their names are almost the same

I misunderstood....I thought you meant workshops from the city that we can build. As far as I know, you cannot get the Moose Hall or the Cheese factory from wonder stables.

@penguinfarmer - I am also confused about your emotions. You said you bought 2 'stupid' wonder stables and then you show upset emotions about them but if it is your first pen, why are you upset? Is it just because it is not the platypus? It is good you got a cat since they are being removed from the game. I like watching the animation when they jump around and play in the boxes. Our cats behave similarly....I hope you get something you do like so you can use the smiley....

 

Just harvested my last ones. I've done even better than I thought I would, and I had fairly high hopes to begin with as I had almost no rare pens or upgrades on this farm before (yeah, broken record, I know ). Drowning in moles and doves though. It was a close call with the cats. Didn't get any in the first few batches, and as this was the last chance (outside G&T) I was a bit anxious I'd miss out (only have 1 kitty pen over at other farm as well), but ended up with 2. Unless I'm forgetting something, I think I got at least 1 of all the rares, which certainly isn't shabby. Less excited about some of the orange upgrades and yellow workshops, but considering what horrible results I used to get sometimes before they reworked the mystery stables, I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm disappointed. All in all I think I bought 44; all singles as I didn't think the pack was worth the extra BB. So I've spent 660 BB and have 2 platy pens to show for it apart from all the other goodies and although I've never gotten quite that many during this event before, I'm happy with it all.

Sorry penguinfarmer, but we are not the same person...although I think we may be similar people. I've certainly enjoyed her posts.
As for 'likes' or not - very often I do not even know who wrote the post as I scan the contents and 'like' on that basis. So many other times, though, it's just an oversight from being in a rush. And sometimes if I do take a quick glance and see 'farmerlily', it's so similar to my own that I think it is, and would feel funny marking 'my own'.
The point being, one should not be too quick to jump to conclusions, especially negative ones! There are so many reasons that people do this or that.

***But for all these reasons, I'd like to make a request of everyone here on the forum to just call me Lily from now on. Some do already. I like the name, and it will help avoid all this confusion.*** Thanks guys n gals!!

I've forgotten what 2 of them were but one was a Frog (always welcome) and one was a Pink Ostrich

I feel like the luckiest girl in town now as I've been breeding/playing the market for a couple of month to get the needed Ballet Ostriches to build one myself. Happy days!

Ps. not getting the Kiwi this time either seems like a small price to pay for one of the coolest pens around

Frog (4 total)
Rooster (3 total)
Wolf (4 total )
Raccoon (5 now, pretty decent considering i had 0 to start lol)
Goat Pen II: Orange (first orange one yay )
and
OMG 2, not 1 but TWO Platypus!

Took 32 stables to get 2 of them but i think that was worth it Got plenty of other great things too

And PNP, thanks for the update on those two workshops. Guess its just a hope and pray i see them some day

 

All the good results here have convinced me to spend my last 60 BB on 4 more. Will have to wait a bit to put them out. I hope I can get a platypus. If not, I'll be waiting for the next sale as I don't think there will be any in the market anytime soon.
