Yeah, I've noticed I'm getting drops that are things I won't be able to use for a really long time since I'm still at level 35 (although should reach 36 by day's end). I figure I'll just have the items for when I need them.

The good news is that thanks to being able to purchase the Buddha's hand fruit in the market I got all 3 of the tier 1 quests done! Looks like I've got plenty of the glow cones to get through silver tiers 2 and 3.

So I think I'm doing better than I expected to for this particular quest.

 

I finally Grown All The Event Crops of Moonflowers and Morning Glory got 593 Drops So Far Done Level 1 to 4 of This Event Love The Sunrise Sunset The Biggest Bahm EP Giver By Far !!! Now Placed it in my Shipwreck. Use Pets and Buffs to Boost Bahm EP.

I am Doing some Breeding as Wild Donkeys and Pack Burros and Zen Pandas and Bamboo Pandas are still selling for good CC. I Put out Seedings for Main Farm and Wonder Stables Hope I get something really Wonder to Help Towards the Recent Quests. Need to Make up my mind what to put out when my CAC runs out to Boost the Last 307 Glow Cones that i still need to get to complete this Event

Yes it not good getting no stars with this Event as I got over 3000 Surplus Stars. They should Bring those Stars Back especially for those farmers who needs Stars Badly. I am please it help me make lots of CC with this Event.

Those Lower Level Farmers if i was you Try to get the Sunrise Sunset Bahm EP Giver for your Shipwreck and go for those Seedings and Wonder Stables you might get lucky to help you make CC or help you on those Quests I wish you all lots of Luck

 

I managed to finish step 5 from the quest just a wile ago, what remains for me is 102 glow cones and 7000 morning glory and I am done with this event since I had the colored chameleons for the other steps, the fields are nearly due to harvest and it is about 3 more rounds, so I think there should be no problem with the glow coins, but I have to admit this event took more time than the other previous events, I think I shall finish with around 60 hours remaining on the event timer, so I can use this time to start the production of the snorkels and bio glue.

 

I have completed everything through Task 4. Have all the stuff for 5 and 6 except flowers and drops. Drops will come as soon as I finish flowers and start growing some longer time crops, especially the overnight stuff.

 

I am on task 3 and I still have to grow some moon-flowers.
I have few drops and only 400 morning glories I have not time to finish.

 

Busy week for me. After my last post I got to worrying about the event crops. So I planted 6h crop overnight and the next day while AFK. That cost me time aka drops. 3h event crops rest of day. Regular well fortified crops, water & refinements, overnight and yesterday and last night. It's going to take me until the last day to finish. Assuming no more RL... LOL!
Currently have about half the event crops and more than half the drops. Need some of the breeding animals. I'll probably breed them the last day. Still hoping to finish the event.

 

Help: Have been AFK all day, didn't get to harvest 1x1 moonflower. I wont waste a CAC now, since I'll be in bed in 4 hours. Should I leave the 1x1 moonflower? I spend more to harvest without CAC and replant, right?

 

I would harvest with pumpkin jam, then you'll have time for a round with morning glories before bed

 

Oh, good call, thanks Mir! I just realized if I left the moonflower they would probably be weeds in the morning anyway.

 

Weeds are good. They are evidence that you do not have F.O.C.D.

 

I just donated all the stuff for the first four levels of the quest.

I have everything for the last two levels, except the glowcones, need about 330 of those. Have planted long term crops, so keeping my fingers crossed.

People who have completed the Farming Contest trophy? Isn't it really expensive? Also, donating all those animals is so painful.
What was the best animal to donate?

Thanks all of you who post here, it really helped me grow the event crops and raise the required animals without much difficulty.

 

I need about 1k morning glories and 325 drops.
I'm doing I'm thinking of completing all the levels except the first one and the panda one.

 

I'm 157 glow cones and just a few thousand morning glories away. Just Step 6 to complete now. If not today, tomorrow morning at the latest.

 

With less than 48 hours to go, I am a little short of daily average for drops on this farm but I have had a couple of stints away from computer and, once I have the Moonflowers finished this afternoon on this farm and a few overnight on Illy, I can recoup the drops with longer growing crops, animals and trees.

I should finish the crops tomorrow - I could have been a bit quicker but I have not maximised much when away from computer (planted Moonflowers at about 1.00 pm on Friday and didn't harvest till the next day as I worked on Friday afternoon). I have to say that I like it when it is not white knuckle planting to the last minute ... famous last words lol!

Edit: I forgot to say that I have got all my breeding animals by DIY. It was slow (only one or two motels as plots all filled with Morning Glory or trees!) and hardly any skips - just one step skips twice I think. I was doing it more for an experiment than anything else - when I first decided to do the whole event on this farm, I was thinking of buying the breeding animals. Then a good neighbour mentioned breeding them herself and I decided to save my CCs. Since then I have accumulated enough CCs to buy the breeding animals but still wanted to see how I did. I have heard people say they get some good results outside of Baby Boomer - well, for me, I will only ever breed outside of BB when it is absolutely necessary!

 

I managed to finish this event completely with 1472 moonflower and 487 morning glory remains in my inventory also 85 glow cone, I expected to finish earlier, but was caught at my job, a few trailers came late and had to unload them all, any way there was 43 hours left on the event timer and I was expecting to finish with around 60 hours left, the cloud raw is set and harvested, and now back on to finish what quests I can before the new event starts, good luck for you all who are still trying.

 

Argh! Oh my goodness! Abubadi, you had me running for my diary - another event so soon. Oh dear, oh dear. Just hope it's not lots of crops to grow. I'm working most of next week and when I'm not, I have tons of stuff to do!

I have completed as much of the event as I had planned to which was Levels1-5 Silver and Levels 2&5 Gold&Diamond. I am just lacking on the glow cones, need 161 of them! Have put a post on SOS thread and my stables and workshops are back out on the farm so I'm hoping I should manage it! I won't be on the farm on Monday until after the event is finished so need to get done by bed time tmr night! If I'd had more time I would have carried on and gone for Level 6 Silver but I'm not that bothered bout the cloud row and wasn't going to kill myself trying to get another 7500 morning glorys as I have RL stuff to attend to tmr...
(it does happen occasionally!!).

Got all my crops to complete. Just need 172 drops which I should get by event end. I've got kohlrabi, oyster mushrooms and lilies planted to harvest before bed and carnations to harvest in the morning.
