Finally Got The Last Remaining Glow Cones. Finished The Event. I did not get any Rare Wonder Stables I wanted, Also with the Wonder Seedings no New Rare Trees I wanted. Oh Well Better Luck Next Time Perhaps.

But This Event had Helped Me Make Loads of CC From Selling and Growing Breeding Animals Needed for This Event.

Very vary far from finishing this event, even the silver levels. It's just too many crops with my busy RL schedule lately. I would love to get to Level 5, as I have the mice and sakura to get those Baha wonder trees, but honesty don't think I'll make it. Still need to finish up moonflower tonight, hopefully!

 

Relax chevrefeuille, there is still 3 days for the new event, there are 2 event crops and some breading so my guess it is going to be a hard one like this event, let us hope I am wrong, and wish for better rewards than this event.

The cuckoos are returning, but I haven't seen anything about breeding them...

Hello, I did my refinement for roses to get more hammers since I was always low on hammers(150x higher chance to get a hammer), does anyone know that since I have this, will this affect my chances of getting event drops?

 

No, the event drops should be independent of the tool drops

Boy was I wrong about the drop rate being ok. I have enough flowers to get step 5 but need 150 glowcones just for that step. There was no way I could grow long crops at night and have enough event flowers even using CAC and 2x1's. I've just been growing event flowers just to try to grow enough.
So for the future if an event says it's hard I will save a lot of money and not buy CAC and just plan on doing the first few steps.
I think it's very nice that people are offering SOS for glowcones and all but honestly the game should be designed so that if you grow all the event crops you have almost enough glowcones, or to have fewer event flowers required so we have enough time to grow event crops plus 'drop' crops.
They did warn us saying the quest was hard. Now I know what hard means.... if I don't want to use 1x1's, and CAC the whole time I wont' get through all the steps.
I had some PF stockpiled for the next BB day so I was able to do some donkey breeding when I got to level 60 which was nice. I was able to make enough to buy some hungry bats for the magical stalk miracle quest. I got a hedgehog from the wonder stable which was new for me and one less thing to buy when I try to do all the need a wonder animal quests. I'm still not sure if the 3 pack burros for the wonder trees was a good deal. I only bought one wonder tree before and it turned into an orange so I didn't buy anymore lol.
So the bottom line is until I can make my own CAC, yes I'm lavender jamming it up 5 x's a day lol, I won't be trying to complete any more hard quests. I'll just do the first few steps.

 

Just finished the event. Cloud row is nice, but the givers we get are almost as nice just alone.

Thanks, just remember everyone that these are rumors, not facts... last time the rumor was that we would need blackberry, for example, but it did not happen.

 

I now need 120 drops to complete the event. I am hoping long term crops can see me through.

I have maxed out the plant trophy, am working on the animal one, but it is slow going and painful.

 

Still need 2,000 more morning glows and 100 glow cones to finish step 5 silver level. I have everything else to finished the rest of step 5. Step 6 is going to be tough to finished due to RL schedule. Will see what happens.

Wish I had not done the level with Island trees and/or the animals. Got poor results, as usual. No surprise though...

 

I finally got enough cones this morning to finish what I can in this event. YAY!! Can't do the levels with Zen or Bamboo pandas(haven't unlocked breeding yet) or the level with Gym chameleons. I do have 10 drip tanks now, 4 from the event and the rest were just drops off my fields. Congrats to all who have finished and good luck to the rest trying to finish, push through it

 

I've finished! Yay! Set out my Baha mystery trees and will hope for some good ones. GL to all still working on it.

 

It doesn't look like I'm going to finish. I need so many drops (140). My drop rate is terrible. I think they are trying to get you to buy the baskets. I really needed the drip tanks as I'm not getting them either. With the event crop I'm only getting 7 drops for a whole field of 1x1's. Is that what other people are getting?

Got the last of my glow cones and have completed the event. I've got my Mystery/Secret stuff out and will report in the appropriate thread my results in a few hours.

 

Did silver levels 1-5, having given up on L6 for the cloud row - too many crops, too little time for me. But I'm happy with what I've done and my givers will earn me some nice ep/bep.

 

I finished this event yesterday, forgot to post here, so any of my neighbors watching this thread send glow cones to people posting in SOS thread instead of to me please.

 

I've almost finished on the steph2014 farm, I only need 20 more drops and will get those easily from crops. Thank you to everyone who has sent me drops! On MissSmartyPants, it's a different story All crops are grown, but still need 80 drops and am getting nervous! I posted on the SOS thread. Sheesh the drops have really been difficult this time around!
