I hope this is the right place to start this....here goes: I know everyone is busy with moonflowers and glo-cones so it may be the worst time to ask about this, but if fellow farmers that have made the choice of artisans to build, if you could spare a few moments to say which you chose and what you like about it :) I would greatly thank you. Im a typical girl, and I want them all, but we do not get what we want at once now do we? I know you are busy at work but Im very patient and find your comments well worth waiting for. Happy farming;)

Hallo farmerlily - being in your position I would start building the confectionery and then do everything in your power to get to level 4. Once there you would be able to produce the apple-carrot chutney which when applied as a buff gives +2 on everything you grow on your fields (not trees or stables). So on the big field you will get 5+2=7, on the medium field you get 3+2=5 and on the small field it is 2+2=4 and it is the best, because on the space of big field you have 4 small ones which give you 16 of whatever you grow.
    All the best..danka1. (level 888))

Thank you for this gold mine. I wish we could edit and condense it and post it in the permanent files that I asked for and will not receive... lol. Anyway. Thanks again for putting this together. It really needs to be put in the game strategy area:)

Hi @farmerlily22 ..I couldn't wait to get going with the Artisan Village as I love all 'crafty things'!! I picked the Bakery first purely because I love baking in RL but as the game has gone on I wish I'd opened the Confectionery first for the CAC-Carrot-Apple Chutney. I couldn't wait to be able to open another trade so not long after I paid to open the Confectionery to get started on that aswell. I have all 3 trades open now and they're all on Level 3 but my Confectionery is lagging behind some what as I make far more Bakery products than Confectionery ones. When I sold my Bee-autiful Bee for lots of CC's I spent lots on buying craft products to help level me up. There's some good advice in the forum..unfortunately I don't know how to put the link in my post for you. This is what I did though:-
For the Bakery I used Gingerbread or Pumpkin Pastry
For the Confectionery I used Lavender Jam or Pink Jelly
For the Florists I used Wedding Pot or Wedding Bouquet
I kept an eye on the prices in the market for these items and just kept buying so many when they were at a good price. You can use other products that level you up quicker but economically it's a lot better using the items I've mentioned (at that time that is..it's always worth checking just incase it's changed for some reason!). It just depends how much of a rush you're in to get to a certain level and how many CC's you've got!
Before I knew that there is a half price shop sale now and again I bought recipes from the shop at full price or from the Pirate Cove >:(. I used to check all the time as I couldn't wait to get those recipes on offer! I actually went to the extent of writing all the recipes down for all the trades and working out an approximate cost of all ingredients required then wrote an approximate price for each item as sold in the market (although this is obviously subject to constant change). That was when I realised which recipes are really worth having and using and which ones I shouldn't have bothered buying (especially at full price!!) but like everything it's a learning curve! Alot of the products are reasonably priced in the market to just buy anyway but I do enjoy doing the recipes and really hope that some of the older ones that are no longer available will be offered to buy or win at some point in the future!(BP are you listening??;))

I think from what I've learnt and read in other threads is that the general consensus is get the Confectionery first, then the Bakery and Florist last but ultimately it's your game to play so you should choose as you wish!!!
I hope this has helped in some way..happy crafting!:)

Ps- The Spa is very helpful in helping you to level up on Bahamarama quicker but you must be Level 70 and it will take 150 stars to unlock through the Tree of Wisdom!!!

SillyGuy, danka 1, and fiftrixiebell, Thank you so much for all your help:) I'm sorry I was away a few days and couldn't dig into all the information until tonight, but it sure is worth it, thanks again! I'm just getting back to my farm so I haven't built anything just yet, busy weeding, :( but couldn't wait to get to forum and find out what ideas my more experienced neighbors had to share:p
