8)I hope this is the right place to post this. These questions need answers. Thank you for considering this.

I'd like to know why you keep calling facts that I pass on- even including the reference source - as my opinion....and then editing (deleting) these facts.
They come from a book that Ghandi - who was not a christian and whose opinion the entire world respected - said that 'No one is truly educated until they have read the Bible.'
He considered it a book of Wisdom. .....And he passed on many of its teachings for that reason.
He considered this as an act of kindness and an effort to help others.
I am far from even close to being any sort of Ghandi - yet when I have tried to follow his most excellent example, You 'edit' (delete) what may be a source of value to others??? If we are penalized for following the examples of our greatest men, who is left as an example - the worst of men??
    I do not understand this!

You have just done this again - and I was just answering someone's question that they had asked me! In answer to their question I gave them the SOURCE (not my opinion) and told them this was my answer to their question.
I cannot understand why it would be considered my opinion when it is from a Reference book.
Are we not allowed to quote Shakespeare??, or Khalil Gibran?? The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich?? Or any other great piece of work that imparts wisdom or great thought??
Or - with joy and fellow feeling - try to share these sources with others so they may enrich their own minds and form their own opinions?
How do you answer other people when the answers come from world recognized sources other than your own self??

If I cannot understand the answers to these questions, how can I possibly keep from sharing these greater-than-my-own-opinion sources again - and again???
    I am truly concerned.

    Hello farmlily3,

As taken from the Forum Rules:
Not everyone has the same views and some players will find the constant references offensive. Therefore it is better not to post one's own political/religious beliefs.

    Can I assist you further?

8)Yes, you certainly can, thank you.
This answer to someone's question was not meant to be anything other than a brief reference to a source which contained a more detailed reason for why I was answering only part of her question. It was given in fairness to her so she would not feel I was being rude to her. I gave her the reference so she could find her own answer -IF she wanted to. I never directly referred to any religion other than to give her the source of the reason I was only partially answering her question. In fact - for the very reason that you stated above I was very careful to do only that.
I have done my very best to comply with those rules once I was made aware of them. This does not qualify under them in any way that I can see. I am unable to do something about it if I cannot see anything even remotely wrong with it, especially when I have tried so hard to avoid the possibility. To quote a source is a world wide practice that is accepted - worldwide.

I do not understand the censorship of a world wide, accepted practice of quoting sources.
I am truly sorry we do not see things with the same eyes. I don't know how to see with your eyes. But I have actually tried to do so.

If someone was interested in your source, they could easily look up the info themselves, no reference guide would be necessary.
We are a very diverse community on the EN forum and we all have our different views and beliefs. We are all subject to censorship, no matter which country we live in. This forum belongs to FA, and we are subject to their rules. You are welcome to discuss your religious beliefs on appropriate forums.

You are welcome to "quote" stuff like Shakespeare, but not political or religious beliefs.

Can I assist you with anything else?

8)I did not 'discuss' my religious beliefs, and if they don't know what I am talking about, they cannot look it up for themselves. NFQ.
