I would be the Prince of messy today if you have read "Scew up of the day" thread. LoL :music:xD
Forgot to start the timer is painful.-.- Because we have to wait a lot of time till Cloud Row was cooling down time.:wuerg:

May be I'm going to skip the first level and keep going to next level.

Remember : To produce 26 fake moustaches on 4 moustacheries needs at least 28 hours (watering w/o rune, CR and any buffs that reduces producing time on workshop) or at least 25 hours 12 minutes (watering + rune w/o CR and any buffs that reduces producing time on workshop).

You have to make a good plan to complete all levels.;)

I was done with step1 about 2 hours ago (10/11 hours ahead of expiry), with a last harvest of CWs, this time with both dragon and nightmare things active at that moment. The rest, except for the 2 crows, identical to what I mentioned yesterday when I decided to start it: ZAB+EM+CB+6 owls. I did not use CFs. Pets and the Flower CR made a lot of a difference, of course. (I used only 1x1s in about 70% of the plots I could have used; the remaining 30% is with trees). So, it's possible.

In my lower level farms -none of which have any pets at all, or the Flower CR, for that matter- I am using CFs, instead, overnight, and I'm starting the task when they are done. I decided to use CWs in some plots, SGed; the rest of CFs are with CPs, manured. In one of them, the only one that really needs any mouse stall, I've also Suzy-sprayed these CFs: the EPs boost is phenomenal. I think Suzy-sprayed CFs are a good option for the first harvest after having activated the task to achieve results similar to those with pets, when you don't have any of them, and no CFs -like the ones I've already gotten in my main, this one-.

Took me an hour and 1/2 to get logged in this morning -.-. Finally did, and actually remembered to use buffs, pets, and cloud rows, and even activated the timer before harvesting 4 fields of CW (pets= dragon, cupig, night mare, 5 owls, and 3 crows). First total, 28,650 ep.:D (have magic trees, singing flowers, a few odds and ends I never take off is why not as high total as some) Pretty sure should be able to get total needed ep before time is up, since almost 1/2 way there, and drops seem excellent this time. Used most of my stock of cuckoos to upgrade my trophy, only one level left woo hoo! Wish I'd stocked up more on the cuckoos when they were easy to come by, hindsight being 20/20 and all:p. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't thinking ahead (or at all, reallyxD) and activated my cloud rows that reduce workshop time, but no biggy, if they haven't cooled down by the time I'm ready to start making mustaches, I'll rely on just buffs. Congrats to those who have finished the first step, fingers crossed for those who are still working on it, and cookies for blessedlady to take some of the edge off the pain ;). Think I'll try CF on alt farm, if there's enough time after I harvest the current crop of CW, to get the maximum amount of EP I can there, tho it probably won't be the full 65,000.

Just for anyone starting timer it can be done with 1CAC, 1CB, 1EM and 1PPP as thats all I had. Unfortunately I do not have any cloud rows to help and I still finished with3 hours left on timer. I had all 4 fields going alternating with event crops due to work and real life commitments and I still managed so please do not give up.

    Good Luck

I managed to finish the first step in 10 hours 4 minutes exactly, with one harvest of cube water melons from last night and then 3 harvests of cube pumpkins, in my haste I forgot to reactivate my pets again, but no harm done I got the benefit on the first harvest, and then I did step 2, the stock was ready, and started doing step three, I built the moustacheries, and on the way I donated the cuckoos to the tree and managed to finish the animal trophy ( I am very happy about that) it took from me 2667 cuckoos and still have over 24000,
and by the way, the event drops are good this time, I am getting around 12 mugs from full field of cube pumpkins, now I feel relieved and there is no more pressure, and glad every thing was according to plan, so don't be discouraged, and Sillguy, I think you can do better than me, with your preparations you can do it with less than 9 hours, now I have 18 mouse stalls and 2 yellow upgrades and 1 orange, so I am going to gift 1 yellow with base for some one's mother, who was mentioned on this thread, it is reserved until G&T, that's a promise, good luck all.

My first harvest after starting the timer was 27982. I had all CF,half planted with CW and half with CP. I used the Flower Cloud Row, CAC, ZAB ,CB and EM. I was very pleased with that starting EP total! I've continued on all 1x1 fields (give or take the odd few plots) planted with CP+water so the second harvest gave me 12202 EP totalling 40184 and am now waiting for the third harvest of the day. After a confusing and unenthusiastic start to the event I'm now feeling fine and cracking on with it! Good luck everyone!

so sorry Sillyguy!! Even gonna let you be KING today! Planted CP and listened to thunder, lightening and rain and decided maybe I got up too early so took a nap. Woke up, set timer and got 14840. Poured meself a glass of tea and enjoyed some lovely delicious cookies (thanks spotsbox). New plan to continue to plant CP and plant CW overnight again to get a good harvest in the morning. Sending good luck wishes to all and have fun farming.

In the event post we get 500 tools for completing level 1. Under the chart detailing the requirements and rewards there is the following:
Please note! The Tools offered as reward on the first step will be booked as toolboxes to your inventory, under the Consumables category, and you will need to open them by clicking on the 'Use' button.

I can see the tools in my barn. Can someone explain how to access the 'use' button?

Once you complete step 1, go to your crop field and bring up your Decorations inventory. Look for the tools (you may need to scroll over) and you will see the "Use" button below the boxes of tools.

Does anyone know if the tools won on step one are pre-allocated or are they randomized when used. I am curious to know if waiting to open them when a new drop is introduced makes any sense, since I am in no need for tools at the moment.

I just opened my tools and I didn't get any drip tanks as someone above mentioned they got, so not pre-allocated. But, the setup for collecting these tools was made special for this event so you might not be able to collect once the event ends.

Oh, and I completed step 2 but now need to mill feed for my temporary pens as I don't wish to PF them.

Four hours to spare and I have completed step 2 as well. Now to wait on those moustaches.

12 hours later and still waiting for a response to tech about the EP miscount...
I will have enough to move to level 2 next harvest but should already be making moustaches. Not a good start...
