My neighbors and friends are always growing and making junk on their side of the fence. .

I wonder what they have in that barn their so proud of? I bet some are so proud of their barns they won't even tell me. Let me see!

I need nails. and boards. Soon as I get enough, I go build something. Currently, I'm hoarding wheat. Because I am very new to the trades and I just got the bakery built and I need all the wheat I can lay my fat little fingers on to make dough. Wow, but those trades sure do eat up the resources.

Edited to add: Tommone63 - what does a Wilson do for you? I've seen them on my gifts I can send to neighbors pop-up, but have never received one, so don't know what they do.

Let's see....maybe it would be better to see what I'm Not hoarding? LOL Actually, I am hoarding colored animals and their products....why? I think down the line...there will be a Soup II and I don't want to be caught unprepared as I was with the 1st one!!!
I had just finished the breeding quests for cows & horses...so I sold all my level 8 & 9 extras...for what I thought was a tidy profit! Then Soup quest came out....and I'm still not done with it!

 

I don't know if it is considered hoarding....it just keeps piling up....I wish I could send some as gifts or sell it....

Wilson gives you 20EP every 8 hours and it has 15 charges, so it's good for a total of 300EP.....

I like to use my Wilson gifts on my cloud rows rather than use them up for the small amount of EP you can get from them. I find this a better use for them than taking up valuable space elsewhere in my game.

I've opened up my park, but I am still a ways from finishing the beanstalk for cloud rows - I need brown bats and I can't breed bats until the next nighttime event. So I'm saving up my bats until then. I actually just have the one bat 'ranch' square - got it from the beanstalk quest. Slow going, but I'll get there eventually.

The farm, at the moment is in sheer chaos, must be the spring air... The pups are stir crazy, wandering the farm, not able to do much of anything. The Bees are antagonizing the beavers The Cows & Horses keep trying to trample the Anacondas! The barn is knee deep in poop and feathers from the Bats and Crows refusing to go anywhere Do you know how hard it is to paint the remainder of the barn with them about ?! Think tar and feathering....

The Carrot, Sunflower, Peppermint, Aubretia & Begonia fields (not to mention a few others) all were flooded from the thaw..

The breeders are just being so darn fussy on whom they want to ride to the market with.. the chickens, turkeys and ducks are getting along but the goats, bun buns and sheep do not want to ride with each other let alone the lizard. Thank goodness feed supplies have not been harmed...

Oh ! what is a poor farm girl to do ? I hate having unhappy critters!

 

Actually, what you need are hungry bats for the beanstalk, not brown bats although brown bats for breeding up to your hungry bats are a reasonable idea. Do ask your neighbors for a Terror Bouquet or two (depending on your sleep habits during MM) and a CAC for using with 1x1s to help produce more MM crops. (Sorry, I can't afford to send one myself.)

Yes, BlackCaviar, you're right - hungry bats. And I think I actually need brown bats for tier two of the bat breeding quest - got them mixed up. So LOTS of brown bats, so I can finally get to hungry bats. I'm gonna be breeding bats like crazy come moonlight madness. Who needs sleep? I'm actually a night owl by nature, but because we do farmers' market in RL all summer long and I have to get up at 4 a.m. to be ready in time for opening bell, I have to start resetting my circadian rhythm now - so up by 7:30 a.m. whether I want to be or not.

 

Wow! All that junk in your barns. Wilsons and nails and stuff. I never realized farmers collect this kind of junk. I'm really learning something.

And I'm cuckoo? Well sorta! I need to rethink that. And bats and breeding stuff hanging around.

As for hoarding, I'm just trying to keep a little bit of everything just incase but it's so hard to get stocked up on a variety of things when the events are so regular. I guess that's why they do it that way..to keep us on our toes!!

 

i ended buying 30 albino bats (since they are relatively cheap to start the breeding process) to start breeding them to get to the hungry bats then found out i also could not breed bats. so i just bought the 3 hungry bats. they are in the low 60k range now in my market. working on my last wild boar now and i took the steer from the rune tree. might open up cloud row tomorrow.

as for hoarding, i pretty much sell everything right away. other items are just stockpiling, havnt built anything in workshop yet.

 

Sewinglady, you won't automatically be able to breed bats during the next MM you have the option to unlock bat breeding during MM, but it takes a lot of crops. As feelfree2win said, you can buy the hungry bats directly

Mir85...I wondered if this was going to be multi-step process, and you've confirmed that. Guess I'd better get to saving up the CCs. Gonna need a bunch of them for hungry bats. One of my neighbors gave me a good tip since I decided not to do this current comic quest - I am making/selling the cuckoo food and my excess manure at the market.

 

And Broke told me collect the M6 coins soon you will need them so I have 36255.
Do you think they are enough Broke? or should I keep collecting them...
