Since you ask me, I'll share this little secret with you.
I'm trying to hoard:

1. lettuce (for trophy)
2. roses (for hammer refinement)
   
3. sugarcane (no reason)
4. chickens (to sell in market;one for 175 cc)
5. rabbits (to make angora wool)
6. honey (to make easter marmalade in the future)
7. nails (for workshops)
8. salt (for bakery, which will be unlocked through renzo)
9. Country coins

 

What trophy can I get for lettuce? I want one too: one lettuce and one trophy. And one cuckoo.

That Tommone and those Wilsons ... I gonna fill Tommone's gift box up with Wilsons from all the farms when the event is over. I think I'll see if I can lock that thing down for a day.

 

Me too - wonder where they all come from? Do you think they are breeding? I have 25 on this farm, Illy has 7!

I can't say that I "hoard" anything in particular - at least not at the levels of Mr FB! I just go round the markets and see what's going cheap but then if the price goes up, I sell them again so it's a bit of a rollercoaster rather than hoarding.

But this farm has yet to open any artisan workshops so I am probably hoarding the trade products. I thought I would wait till I had 20,000 Preserving Sugar before opening Confectionery first but then, as I found I didn't need to make any craft items as it is easier to buy them, I decided to wait till I got 20,000 of all trade products. Currently Salt is at the top position at over 20,000, Preserving Sugar comes in at 19,000 and the others range from 17,000 to 19,000. But will I want to use any of those products when I have them all nicely stacked on my shelves?

I’m like Brooke; a compulsive hoarder of almost everything.

Crops, animals, products...all have “never-go-below” limits in my barn, and those numbers keep rising the longer I play (must have 1 000 wheat, no must have 10 000, no I’ll better have 30 000 wheat...just in case...). Because recent Events have asked for low/mid level breeding animals I have found that I’m now also a hoarder of those. But I am proud to say there is one little corner in my barn that is almost empty as I sell them as quick as I can produce them; Blackthorn plums.

Apparently I’m a hoarder of Scissors as well but like Michael it is not intended, they just keep piling up:

I have been hoarding "many junks" through the market... Especially tree fruits, colored animals, and artisan products.

For what?
I think I am going to participate Hoedown Festival next months.. I will represent English Forum Community to realize that we are strong enough. Although our members are smaller than other forum members, we can show off in front of them.

LOL looks like you don't know that I'm a lettuce hoarder and I have 32,000+ lettuce at the moment... but lettuce production has stopped recently due to these hateful events. Yes, I hate them!

@saltypixel I'm at task 10/15.
For the first few steps I donated lots of lettuce, but recently I've been using those useless lemons to cheat

I am hoarding cuckoos First I threw them all in the trophy (even bought extras to give away), but now I have bought more than 10k to hoard. It is currently the only animal with a market price lower than the exchange value (Broke are you proud of me talking about EV? ) but a fair price for the cuckoo feed should be a bit more than twice the EV of the cuckoos, based on the ingredients (that's in the long run, right now the feed is much more expensive)

 

I think a better question is...What don't I hoard I just can't help myself in the market, can't pass by any kind of deal.
Right now I'm really hoarding Timber and Peanut Butter....I just know Beaver and Elephant breeding will come one day...right...
And like Brooke said maybe another Soup and Friends so I must hoard everything for that....And then there will be something else so I might as well hoard everything

They are now increasing in the market they went from 99 to 126...

I too Have been Hoarding Cuckoos as they are undervalued at the moment snapping up as many as i can. These will make good investments for those that need to Make Golden Moustaches. Also at the moment they have good exchange value in terms of Animal Exchange Value. Many are selling for less than Exchange Value. So why not buy loads of Cuckoos.

I have Always been Hoarding for 5 Years, so I Hoard quiet a mixture of things such as Tools, Products, Artisan Craft Items, Animals, Crops, Fruits, Animal Feeds, Breeding Animals. Now we are able to hoard manure from the markets. Have Made some good cc Lately nearly sold out of manure. Sold Manure for 400 CC.

I have been Hoarding Crops as 1st Crop Seeding Page. The First Line of Crops Starting with Carrots All on the first line is at 200,000 crops. The Rest of The Crops on the 1st Page is over 100,000 Each Except for Crop Circle which was over 100K sold some of them for about 140 CC Each as they are needed to Mill Cuckoo Feeds. Also I am Hoarding Cuckoo Feeds too since they do not take very long to mill Now worth 1000 cc for Cuckoo Feeds.

JJenks I have been Slowly Hoarding Elephants and Peanut Butter, Also Parrots and Parrot Feathers. Just in Case they one day be Next Breeding Animal, But BigPoint did say they will be Many Baby Breeding Events in Near Future. We have to Wait and See.

But it is still worth Stocking up hoarding Parrot Feathers can the give best Exchange Value Product Wise !!

 

Mooboy (ajjg) - I am not using cuckoos for next Harvest Hoedown event. Cuckoos are most valuable items for making massive profits in the future. Just bringing tree fruits, I already get 200M++ EV.
It is unnecessary for me....

I'm also waiting for Soup & Friends II quest. Loads of top colored animals for sales... lol

I don't think BP wants to keep an animal so low-priced for too long.
We already know there will be a cuckoo breeding soon, but I think they might ask for xxx CC's worth of animals in a near future

 

I have been Hoarding Cuckoos as I Managed to get just over 100,000 Cuckoos. Cuckoos will eventually go up in price in the near future so they make a good investment

 

Schuss... stop talking about the benefits of Cuckoos.

Price has gone up to 150 CC over in my market. Soon it will not be such a good buy anymore

Always good to see you. I'm still around and yes still hoarding. Glad to hear you are considering participating in the TOP 1000 again. I have a baby farm that may go if prepared but will remain at best in the lower 500. The only way this farm will go is if everyone else decides not participate.

You don't need a good luck wish, I know you have the skill. I'm for you all the way though and cheering you on.

Cleared all cuckoo offers which price/unit is below 125 CC.
Now I'm left with only 1 million cc.

hi i am hording just really needed things like 3300 salt,885 sugar ,1800 mandrake and my favorite 2500 cuckos and i am sure i will all need someday hehe
