I finished on all three farms yesterday.

I only use SG on 2x2s. I would use "refined" carnations w/ water for drops. If you don't have carnations, use whatever crop you have refinements for that fits your schedule w/ water and manure, if you wish, to speed things up. Harvest immediately. Repeat until done. If using SG then use 2x2s and your longest crop that fits your schedule. If your highest crop is a 15h, 12h w/ water, and you're not going to be around to harvest. Then it won't work. Try a 10h, 8h w/ water if that is when you will be around to harvest.

    EDIT:
If you have the flower CR and time reducing refinements for ANY flower AND you'll be around to harvest as soon as they are ready and replant, then use that flower. Or if you think just one more harvest will do it for you.
    EDIT2:
If not using SG, then use 1x1s to increase the number of plots/potential for drops. If you have all the event crops... not using harvester/seeder and trophies are low then try using 1x2s.

Depending on whether you are able to harvest regularly up until the end of the event would depend on whether you should keep trying. If I have done the math right, your daily avg so far for drops is approx 96 per day. You need more than that...have you posted in the SOS thread for mugs? Have you sent a SOS to your neighbors asking for help since you are close? Do you have the crops needed? Do you have the moustaches needed to turn in too? You are fairly close...follow the drop strategies to maximize your mugs. I don't know what your trophy levels are but if you are able to increase it a level or 2, it would help increase your drops next harvest. Before I was able to complete events comfortably, I would try all the way up to the last minute. You never know...you may get there. I wish you well in whatever you decide is best for you. You may only be a few mugs short....I never make recommendations about people spending real money on the game. It is a personal preference and only you know if it is affordable and worth it (that is subjective for all of us).

Forgot to ask... Anyone heard when the next MM might be?

Level 4 of this event is a really excellent CR. If one is inclined to spend RM then do it at the last minute after working as hard as possible to save RM. ;)

Just in case it's of any use for anyone, I've just harvested 2 fields of daffodils: 201+160 1x1s. They yielded 35+28 = 63 mugs. Flower CR was active: they took 08:55 to grow, just watered. (Only the 2nd of these fields has a Howie, as a permanent resident: it does not move).

I need to harvest one more time all my farm to get all the crop requirement for task 4.
I have the mugs but I don't have enough moustaches. My goal is to finish task 4, I won't try the last task.
What product can I use to reduce their production time?

Moustaches are a workshop product. Any buff that reduces the time on workshops should help. As a last resort, you could PF feed the workshops to cut the time in half.

There are CRs that reduce workshop time. Craft products include: Gingerbread, gold, 5% for 10 hours; Guava jam, gold, 5% for 12 hours; Church bouquet, gold, 10% for 8 hours; Gooseberry jam, gold, 20% for 12 hours.

I forgot to mention if planting flowers, refined or flower CR, use 1x1s.

Thank you, Yesterday I was very glad to have completed level 3! It's funny how satisfaction then is turning into determination for step 4 the closer I get. The needed crops and moustaches I have. I do not have the cloud rows mentioned to help, this will be my 1st one if I can make it. I am harvesting as things become ready, moving the trophies, which I just increased to 8/10 % a few days ago. I had bought products from the market to help with the ep part which depleted my animals and country coins. I will slowly restock there and can not buy more until I do so. my longest crop is radishes but they do not seem to give as much drops as some shorter flower crops which I can harvest more often.
My neighbors have been sending mugs back to me, which is nice and helpful. I did post in the sos thread, mistakenly for information not drops. When I found and read the sos guidelines I felt I should not post there, since I am newbie. I plan to keep trying until the end, Thank you for helpful advice!

LilJenna we were all noobs once! There are some players that are in the SOS thread pretty much every event and players will help if they are willing/able. I've posted in the SOS thread myself so don't think you shouldn't just because you're a newbie.;)

So i am getting close to finishing and i think i am doing everything i can to get more mugs, with growing long term crops. This morning i planted hazelnuts, onions on the three regular fields. ON bahamarama cube watermelons are longer and more ep than any crop i have there so i planted them as well.

Here is a question that is perhaps a general event question. The trophies i unlocked the rune so i can just add the upgrades on the tree in magical glade. Does the animal trophy help fields and vice versa? I ask this because with the rune it just combines the percentages. I didnt know if the game treated it as a combined percentage or it does keep it separate but combines for that graphical display.

Congrats on opening the rune! Both trophies affect whatever is on the field you are harvesting, so when you have added both trophies to the rune all your fields will be affected by their combined % drop rate increase, if that makes sense!

Yes absolutely. I am up to 13 on crops and 11 for animals so a combined 24%. I tried to upgrade the animal with cheap cuckoos initially but wasnt sure if that was really helping me for mugs or not, as at this point i have all 1x1 fields.

Try donating Roses or Maple Sap (depending on your level) for upgrading your Crop Trophy

You are right, asking for information should be done in the strategy thread (after reading and making sure the answer isn't already there). But if you need drops, don't hesitate to post in the SOS thread. :)

And, I am finally finished with the event! :D:D:D

Congrats to all who have finished! I will finish level 4 in about an hour. I'll never make it in time to finish the last (those dang drops!), but I'll be happy to stop there and wait for the next event!!
