I feel bad for all the lower level players/farmers.....It's a nice event, nice storyline, nice rewards.....but the requirements are getting more and more demanding. It is getting to a point where I'm not sure myself anymore how long I'll be able to keep up with the pace.....
There was a time when I spent time on the farm during small breaks from real life.....I don't think I'm willing to start squeezing real life into the small breaks that the game is permitting....

The Cuckoos were a nice addition to the game, but this got probably spoiled by introducing the "Baby" events (chicks/ducklings/lambs and piglets). Still there could have been a continuation by maybe dropping a Cuckoo instead of foresaid animal babies every now and then....Now this little "breather" is taken away not only from low level players......Again I wonder why the development doesn't go on expanding the already existing animals instead of bringing on "game changers". Sooner or later we will need an encyclopedia to keep track of what animals are actually in the game.....

To go back to the actual event it is nicely made and this one I was still able to enjoy...

I am enjoying this event. :D
The cloud row, BEP and moustacheries are good for higher level players to aim for but equally medium level players can gain good prizes, such as secret stables, on the early levels. To be able to use the many cuckoos residing in my barn is quite a relief, I may even try the cuckoo breeding one day ! As the cuckoo FSQ's are to become permanent that is good too. There are too many breeding events now though - time to ease off on those as the PF requireent is becoming far too much. Many of us never get to approach finishing one breeding quest before another appears.
I like the way this event introduces the moustacheries - a real incentive to have a go, even if RL gets in the way !
Well done BP - you are still trying !

the story is funny, the graphics are nice, having a nice change with the timed part and mill using and changing the event workshop into permanent, BUT the crop requirements are too high.

I've almost finished this event, but I've had to throw everything at it. I think there should be part of every event aimed at new players, after all they are your next generation! There will always be drop outs for many reasons and you need to keep us all happy. I agree with other views that there are getting to be too many new plants, trees, animals etc.
I like the variety of different challenges in this event, I really had to plan what to do.

okay the two stables i won in this event were a dove cote(now i have 6) and a rooster pen(now i have 2),what is really going on here,i mean i put all my rare pens on the farm out and had them running so that maybe i could receive a stork or hedgehog or something i don't have yet, didn't work, the event is not too bad,i have one last stage to complete but it may take all of my resources which i have little. i know this isn't the thread for this, but can someone tell me the strategy for getting the animal pens i really want, please.

Well I'm almost up to lvl 40 and I only got up to part 3 in the silver parts of the last event and I will only finish part 3 of this one as well. It might have to do with not having opened up all of the spaces I have, maybe it's to do with uni as well (I didn't get the mouse pen because I was travelling back from uni when my timer stopped). All you can do is try.

8)I liked the prizes for this event.....absolutely repulsed by the crop requirements again. So, just to see if it was doable, I decided to try all out one last time in an event that has unrealistic crop requirements for us 'farm'ers who actually want to farm without giving up everything to do it. I am level 90 and this is how it's going....

First, I prepared...took down most of my farm leaving only the necessary things to keep having a farm. This meant sacrificing any progress on FSQ's and most of my income, though I left essentials. I freed more growing space than I've ever had on my farm before in all fields. Had saved SG's, SSG's, and turbo mulch from 25 Jumbo trees, so wasn't too worried 'cause I thought there would be a sale event. (Much to my surprise, it came waaay too late in the event to be of as much benefit as it could have been.) Spent over a million cc's on Buffs and preparations.

Then I started. Built up crops before starting the timed event, used SG's, SSG's, etc., sparingly to make them last. Determined to give it a good and fair shot, I planted all cw's and waited till they were ready to harvest, set all buffs, pets, etc.,....and began the timed event. So far, so good. Everything was going well. Set my alarm to harvest all crops when they were ready. Quickly ran out of almost all SG's, SSG's. (Used 1X1's on all four fields) But was almost in the home stretch.

Then it happened - one of those all-too-common glitches. My Baha field would not harvest!:eek:o_O The timer would not count down!:eek:o_O So I hit it with most of the remaining SG's. Ahhh - that worked. Continued farming. Came back at the appropriate harvest time.....The timer had RESET to the beginning time!! No harvest again! Lost all those SG's! Eventually I got it fixed, but had lost 3 harvests of cw's, and ultimately did NOT make the required 65,000 ep's - missed by approximately 3,000 ep's.

Lesson for Event planners....please allow for these things - they are common enough - and for RL (which I had sacrificed to see if it was doable), when you set your 'fairy tale' crop requirements. No one could have devoted more 'alarm-clocked' time on this event. Under reasonable circumstances, it was not reasonably doable.

Continued planting and harvesting by alarm clock, without SG's or SSG's, but spent a fortune on manure (You're welcome, Poo Producers. :) Glad it was there.) All in all - so far - have spent over 3 million p-l-u-s on this event, and can see a lot more going to finish this event. I do not think I will be able to finish the last level because the crop requirements are too high. 13,000 total crop requirements for ONE level??!!!.........****no further comment.

Feedback summary: If a devoted high level 90 player cannot finish this event with reasonable (and even unreasonable) time expenditure, and enormous CC expenditure.....why is this type of over-the-top crop requirement forced upon the farming community at large????? I can thoroughly understand all the frustration and complaints that have been made, and that are getting louder and louder! Especially by lower level players who don't stand a chance of doing these events.

Suggestion: At each Event, offer two Event levels ; one for extreme players; and one for the rest of us normal players, who used to like events before they became too demanding and stressful. This is NOT why we play this game!!! This would also give newer players an opportunity to participate and grow their farms with pleasure, and not want to quit in frustration and disgust.

As djh99 said..."..after all they are your next generation."

Way too many crops required and for once I'm not thrilled by the graphics. The prizes are good and I like that the cloud row is not themed.
I also hate that so many events are back to back, making me feel less inclined to spend RL money, after all it gets expensive if you have to keep paying BB to play.

The hurrieder (I know, not a word) I go, the behinder (also not a word) I get. This is a humorist saying that exemplifies exactly how I feel. I have worked hard to try to get a reasonable supply of goods on my farm (I'm talking in the tens (animals) and hundreds (crops), not the thousands of each) just to have to struggle to keep up with the demands in events. Yes, I know that real life can be that way but I play the game to get away from real life for a bit. Then, I have to drop all my carefully laid out farm lands in order to use every available space for growing event crops. I must use 1x1s with CAC for the quantity of event crops required. This really requires me to use my hard earned harvester coupons or FSQs with harvester rewards to farm without going postal. The more you pressure me, the less likely I am to pay real money to keep up. Yes, I completed this event but I raided all my stores to do so. I am tired of your never ending demands on my farm and have decided not to invest real money in it for the time being. Keep up this madness and I will most likely quit playing altogether. The game was not this exasperating when I first started playing.

I liked the rewards so I decided to try for the the entire event.

The timed one was too hard, despite trying hard for it I just got past half (38,000 out of 65,000).

The crop requirement was too high. (at least the timed event kept the numbers). I used 3 CAC's and was on nearly 24 hours per day. There was very little down time. I just now finished the event with 14 hours left (the drops was the shortfall as I finished crops 8 hours earlier). This always happens when I use CAC

Overall I a thumbs up for this event(as I was able to finish it) but for others that had a job... I'd say no. It seemed too confusing for reading it the first time. After re-reading it a few times it became easier.

While it is cool to get new pens. It does seem a little too much right now. There was a time last year when I only needed 2 pens and 3 trees. Now, I need about 15 trees and 4-5 pens. I feel overwelmed as I'm not one of those who can do over 5-10 pens during Secret Stables and when I do I always get slammed with 40-70% of the same stable.

Some of the event pens seem like they never get offered again or even buildable in the workshop.

    Hi !

Just skip they level as I did. The event FAQ says,

Future release plans for the cuckoos:
    - Stables, Workshops, Breeding, Products, Animals, Quests
    - Basic Cuckoo Coop will be available in shop for CCs in the near future, but it will be quite expensive;
    - Basic Workshop and the Upgrade will be buildable in the workshop in the near future;

So you will be able to build the mustache stall in the workshop in near future. Do not strain yourself. Keep the remaining resources for next event.

I have Been Playing This Game for 5 years. It Seem Unfair Event for Farmers who are Level 40 or Lower. To Do Well in Event.

Sadly Farmers Lower than Level 40 or Cannot Make CAC or PJ or have the CC to Buy CAC or PJ. Will Never get very far with Events asking for lots of Event Crops. Also They would Struggle with Drops needing for this Event too.

As Every Farmer really needs to find ways and resources to have good start to event to get good Event Drops. Otherwise mostly likely to struggle to do well in Events. Farmers Who are Level 60 or More are more likely to do Better Farmers who are level 80 or more are hardly going to have any problems completing events

Many Farmer who do Work while playing this Game, Do Struggle or unable to Complete these kind of events. I am One of Those who have lots of time on my Hands as I complete event with ease as i have all the resources to help Complete Events.

Hopefully some events will be easier to do. But None of them have been easy to do as we do expect events to get Easier but it would be nice though as All of us have to work hard and plan well and able to keep our farms idle as little as possible.

I like the idea of using Angel Trumpets and Crop Circle as Cuckoo Feeds as they are some Fruits and Crops that are not needed for Feeds or Quests as this make a nice change

Also it is nice to have that cloud row that really gives good Bahm EP plus it boost your drops by 15% for 30 Minutes Which is Good to use on Preparing for New Events ;)

I would like to point out (so that no one is mislead) that the 15% more drops only applies to tools, so it will not help boost event drops.

It would have been great to boost Event Drops. To Those who struggle to have head start to new Events getting Event Drops !!

Farmers lower than level 40 cannot buy these products in the market, even if they had the CCs to do so. The only way to buy them is to pay real money for a basket. Other than that, the best they can hope for is to have a generous upper level neighbor to send such items.

I am over level 80, and it wasn't easy for me. I even have one magic tree for a few extra drop items during the event, my LL trophies are at 25%, I have a few pets, I pre-loaded my fields for drops before the event, I used CAC (my entire supply) and 1x1s. I was able to farm most of the hours of the event. I still didn't finish until the last 24 hours. I can't imagine what it feels like for a lower level player or someone who works away from their computer to struggle in these events.

I am level 74 (will hit 75 today). This event was definitely a challenge for me. I stopped after level 4. I had the crops, the shops, but nowhere near enough mugs! I am happy with it as far as I got, but others before me were right on point. Lower level players could barely touch this event. I understand the desire to continue to challenge higher level players, BUT, there seemed to be many of them dropping out after level 4 as well. I'm not suggesting that the events become so easy that they can be completed in no time. But surely, since it IS a game, y'all could ease up a bit??

    In my opinion:-
    The Good: :D
    - I did manage to complete the event this morning
    - I was able to get the full amount of EP for step 1
    - I liked the prizes enough to want to complete all steps of the event
    - I like the unthemed cloud row
    - I like that the cuckoos were and can be used for something (I manage to upgrade my trophy a fair bit which was great!)
    - I like that BP informed us of what we can expect in the future from the cuckoos on the Event FAQ's..it meant we had a choice if to take part to win the cuckoo items or not but at least we knew they was going to be needed at some point!)
    - It's good we have a use for some different crops/trees (catalpa/ crop circles)
    - We didn't need to use any of our animals/breeding animals
    - The EP was counted for Step 1 but we kept the crops for further use in the other steps (I thought this was spot on!!!)
    - In step 1 you could still gain rewards without having to have the full EP and so most people should've been able to get to the next step
    - That the Cloud Row was available without having to finish the last step

    The Bad: :(
    - The only reason I managed to finish was through those fantastic players that help others out by sending drops! (I was fine for everything else) Take note BP of what a great community you have on this game..please don't lose it!!!
    - At the moment I have a lot of time to be able to spend on the game however, I've no idea how people who work and have family life to contend with manage to do it!
    - I am Level 78 and have a lot of things available to me such as buffs, cloud rows etc that helped get the crops/EP etc. I also had all harvester helpers so I could use 1x1's....but how do you expect people without these helpers to harvest/seed enough crops to have a good enough chance at getting enough crops?? Don't scam people into trying to afford a subscription or helping us to get RSI or just go plain mental from clicking the mouse a ridiculous amount of times. The sub is great if you can afford it but you shouldn't make it so difficult to get those very large crop quantities without it!
    - 8 cuckoos per moustache...too many. The Cuckoos may be ready in only 1:30 but the Egg Farms don't take 8 chickens do they!
    - The endless ripping up and replacing of our farms...so tedious and annoying that it's so often!!!
    - The whole decimal counting issue..surely this isn't fair and should be resolved somehow before the next timed step in an event! This seemed to cause a lot of upset so it needs addressing and at the end of the day it makes the EP requirement not accurate!

And finally (at least for the moment..lol)...

BP, please give us all a break!!! It does seem the majority are making their feelings loud and clear on this one! The events are great..I personally love doing most of them but they are pretty much back to back now..even April's Preview shows there's only 2 days between each event through the whole month and not only that but you've stuck MM in the middle of the Easter Event aswell so, I don't know what this Easter Event requires but I sure hope you've left the Main Field free for us to do our MM crops (and allowed this into any timing/crop growing issues!!!)

Also, you are losing players loyalty, both old and new....I don't envy you trying to please everyone but it is your job to provide a game that challenges the higher level players and keeps the newer, lower level players interested enough to want to keep playing! I remember how frustrated I was being lower level and just itching to rise up those levels so I could do more! Obviously there is always that gap between the two and as a player it is up to you to work through the levels to achieve this, that's the whole point, however; there needs to be events either solely aimed at newer, lower level players/mid/higher level players or the events are split up or have different options aimed at low-mid-high to try to keep all your players interested!!!

Sorry for the large post but there were a lot of points I wanted to make. I personally love this game and the events but anyone who reads the forums can see there are continuing issues being raised over and over again. If these issues could at least be acknowledged and addressed perhaps in the Producer's Newsletter then at least we would know these things are being looked at and we are being heard!

    Rant over!;)

I am level 93, started out well, then made a bunch of mistakes during timed portion, I did get partial reward, though. I do have to agree with those saying the amount of crops were too much. I do like that the prizes were good on this event.
I will once again reiterate we were promised long ago that we would get extra diamond slot from time to time, that has not happened in a very long time. An extra diamond slot would go a long way toward making players happy, I know I am not the only one who believes this. I struggled with this event simply because I do have real life obligations to work and family, not to mention sleep, please consider those of us who work (without the ability to access game at work) I'm not saying make events ridiculously easy, but only 2 days between events to restock everything is NOT enough time and the game is not feeling like farmerama anymore, it now feels like eventarama.
