Another beautiful day here. Real spring weather, lovely in the sun but cool wind. Yesterday we saw the partial eclipse. There were lots of people on the beach at Falmouth although no one swimming - much too cold in the sea as yet.

It has been hazy for the past two days because Sumatra and Malaysia burned trees for farming. The air quality here has been in the moderate to unhealthy range.
After yesterday's rain, the haze has finally disappeared.:D

Hot and muggy here in Brisbane Queensland Australia. Have had a few showers. Hot for this time of year. Bring on winter and cooler days.

Here more summer than spring weather today. Lol but not like a Korean summer, more like Europe summer. Here in the summer I feel like melting.

Our kids were supposed to have off the day after Easter, but we had too many snow days, so now they have school.
Spring here doesn't bring warmth so much as mud and muck from melting snow. Its almost summer when we can plant.

Today I put my winter clothe's away. I'm preparing for summer... slowly slowly. And then buy one more air conditioner. The 2 ventilators have not coped last summer.

In one word - Terrible. :( Our clocks changed last night so, in theory, we get one more hour of sunshine in the evening! Only trouble is, someone forgot to tell the sun to visit. 8) Gales, storms, rain, mist. Two days now and not much hope in the forecast - although they can change it from day to day. :)

Snow.. the big, fluffy flakes king. I suppose its better than the mud and slosh of yesterday.... maybe, but really really tired of winter (aka "spring") about now [sigh]

Windy, very windy, trees down all over the place and I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards after an afternoon stroll to the shops!

In Montana, there's no such thing as "snow days". When I first got married and moved out to the Seattle area and we had bad weather in the winter and they canceled school, I was just dumb-struck. Seriously? Then I discovered most people can't drive in it out there, either. I took my first driving lesson in January. In the snow.

Anyway, today's weather in Great Falls, MT is a continuation of this weekend - sunny and downright windy. If you think the wind is fun now, come some Saturday for farmer's market - I have to weigh my things down so they don't blow to the next county east of us.

Hooray - the sun put in an appearance here in Cornwall today - all day long but it was very windy. There are big storms over England and lots of damage. Easter forecast is good. Might get to the rock pools on the beach with the grandchildren.

They do get good Friday off, and the day before for parent-teacher conferences.
In the past they have gotten 3-4 days after Easter. They only scheduled one day this year, but if we had no or very few snow days, then they can give extra spring days. In this case, they wound up taking away about 5 scheduled days, the 6th was the last.

Reminds me of when we got an inch of snow in northern California and they closed the college.. Half the fish and wildlife department were from or spent a lot of time in Alaska...

Here, its the buses going up some small, but steep hills (aka "mountains"... but not to a westerner)
