By my calculations... without the rune, etc. it will take 33.334h to mill all the bouquets. So the latest to start the bouquets in the mill would be around the 48h point, for some of us, anyway. That would be the morning of the second to the last day. (Directed at no one in particular, Illy...) I personally wouldn't expect them to look like much after going thru a mill. lol

Exactly! I love helping people and do so when I have time. On this forum, the MODs are territorial about certain areas. I can't seem to remember to notice where I am before posting. So I don't even read those threads anymore.
My last customer service job was a couple of decades ago. For me to come out of retirement... BP would have to ante up about a million dollars, UP FRONT, with a golden parachute. LOL

I have not heard anyone criticizing MODs either. I've heard a discussion of the different FAQs on different language forums. And, not surprising, some frustration at the inconsistencies. It's NOT personal.

Well... as I like to say... Don't worry, be hoppy!
And if chocolate is needed to relieve the stress... administer as needed. But stay near the bathroom...

This event needs a careful planning to be done easily, even though the event crops takes 5 hours to harvest (4h with water) which can be done in the first 48 hours, but MMM coming in the middle may slow the progress if not careful, since the drop items required are 600 for the first 100 bouquets, and the 5 hours event crop is not going be good for a good drop rate, and by doing MMM the longest crop we have is 8 hours w/o water, so good planning here is needed to get good drops to get the mill running while synchronizing the cloud rows to be beneficial for crops and drop items for both events to get the maximum benefits from the cloud rows and the Artisan products buffs, keeping in mind that the orchids and the tulips also are short term crops that does not give good drop rate, all I am trying to say here, before rushing to start with planting event crops and find yourself short on drop items or orchids and tulip, just take a few minutes to think for what is best to do and may be writing the steps you are going to follow so the things would be balanced while progressing steadily, this event may look easy but I think not, but is not hard also, just some considerations and things should go alright.

I'm planting my long term crops now on 1x1s with CAC (thankfully I can make my own). I will stock up on the event plant on Baha (on 2x2s at first, water, manure, SG and SSG applied) where I can't grow orchids and tulips. I will continue to stock those two flowers on my mainland lands tomorrow until I can get enough event plants. Will grow event plants on Meadow and Glade while doing MM on main field. Will start milling as soon as I have event plants beyond 700 (possibly sooner). It's going to take concentration to keep things in order. Need a good night's sleep tonight!

I agree with all you are pointing out, abubadi, except for orchids and tulips not giving good drops: they should give the ones typical for their duration, meaning that 3 sets of tulips in succession harvested on the dot may yield as many drops as, let's say, a single set of hazelnuts.

The activation/deactivation of the bunnies appearance must also be taken into account: when you click on them, if I understood the FAQs correctly, you need to have Easter bouquets ready for donation. So, those come first.

In addition, if a high level player plans to exceed the minimum 600, then it is advisable s/he gets as many drops as possible at the very start of the event (usually, high level players don't need to take any precautions, but this time, if the plan is to exceed the 600 minimum, then whatever this player can get at the very start, the better).

Now you raise a concern of mine with this statement.
IF... We use the Harvester function... Will this be the same as harvesting/clicking on the bunnies.
Or... do we have to manually click on 200+ 1x1 fields ?

Hi Banjo! My guess would be that you could use the harvester to harvest all the 1x1 fields, but that you have to manually click on the bunnies (just like you do for pets). Just my guess, though!!

    Banjoman,

Stheph's guess is correct, according to what is explained in the Italian FAQ:
"Basterà cliccare su un coniglietto, avendo a disposizione un mazzo di fiori pasquale per ciascuno, e cliccare Consegna Mazzo": You'll need to click on one bunny, having an Easter bouquet at hand for each one you click on, and then click the "gift bouquet" button.

So, from that explanation, I reckon they can only be manually harvested -just the bunnies: you can harvest the rest using the harvester-, and repeat that process for each bunny you'll click on.

It saddens me to see that you keep referring to other forums for answers. Our Admins work hard to bring you this information :( Our FAQ is perfectly clear ( and the pictures are too) in stating you need to click on a bunny to donate a bouquet to be rewarded an Easter egg. If you are unclear about something you can ask in GQ rather than read other countries FAQ's and come up with presumptions ;)

Carry on with your discussion

sorry if I have over looked the obvious but, should I turn off auto tree harvest so that I get better drops for the event ? just for the start of the event
or does that really matter ?

It's actually not sad at all. It's as it is.

First of all, in my opinion, seemingly not good enough, the important thing is to get doubts answered, not where the answers come from, provided the source is a good and official one.

Second, unfortunately, I couldn't find where in the English FAQ it was Banjoman's doubt explicitly answered. Nowhere that I could spot (and I checked the English FAQ first though I already knew the answer) explicitly says we need to click on the bunny, though it can be inferred from the texts or the pictures, or what happens with the harvester.

Third, what saddens me in return is that my responses are taken as any kind of demerit of the effort put by the Admin -or any other mod- on getting together the info we need. It's not, of course, as everyone can see. For me, it's just about answering -when I can help- doubts.

Seeing this as a demerit is a choice, but certainly not mine.

Shooger, please don't be saddened. You and the other Admins all do a fantastic job, and I know everyone truly appreciates how hard you work to bring valuable information to us. I think when players ask each other questions (instead of just posting in GQ), it's because people are trying to be considerate of the Mods' time, and also because people enjoy using all the resources available to them. Communities enjoy commiserating with each other, and trying to solve mysteries together. It's simply a fun thing to do! And, to be fair, this is a strategy thread, and part of smart strategizing includes using all resources available. Those resources include each other. It is not in any way a sign of disrespect, and it does not in any way mean we lack confidence in you. It simply means that, sometimes, people try to answer their own questions before asking a Mod. It would be a cold, impersonal, and lonely place if we didn't talk with each other, and instead only post individually to Admins, would it not? Please don't take offense or be sad. Anyway, that's just my thoughts. :)

I'm not premium subscription player, but under my knowledge, tree take much time to grow,
to get best drop when event start. you should turn off your auto tree harvest so that they will
wait until event start to give you more drop esp you had those jumbo trees!

What is going on? I've been away for most of the day and get back to this....??? Hey..boys and girls stop right now!

Shooger - we who speak a second language should not be penalized for it. If the FAQ's are contradicting what else are we to do?
Aluntino - your post was very helpful, thank you.
teddy - sweet teddy, I'm sure this is difficult times for you but as far as I can see none of the posts were personal. Just fellow farmers trying to help fellow farmers.

I was wondering about the "refresh time" on the bunnies. As many as 16 at time. If there is little or no wait then we can finish the event quickly once having all the bouquets. But if we have to wait. That could be an issue toward the end of the event.

Why? I usually get around 1200 drops per event. We only need an average of 100 per day to get the 600. So... I will probably have all the drops needed for the event on... end of third day...
If that helps you time your tree harvest for after the start of the event, then yes. I don't have auto tree harvest. I take what happens.
It's the age of the internet. Some of us just like using it. Some of us have nothing better to do with our time... ;) It's not personal.

EDIT: We "civilians", or me anyway, have no knowledge of why it might be such a difficult time for the MODs. Perhaps if BP's forums were more transparent we might understand better. But... take a deep breath... it's just a VOLUNTEER job. We are not the enemy. ;) No one is intentionally trying to undermine you. Well... not me anyway. *sigh*
