    I like Ghirardelli & Godiva.

If I have to be brutally honest I have to admit I'm a dark chocolate "hussy" - I'll take whatever I can get. I'm so ashamed but I've even eaten store brand stuff if I needed a fix really bad.

Currently we have Lindor's in the house. I know where my daughter & wife hide the chocolate chips when it gets really bad. Thankfully tomorrow is payday, I have a full tank of gas and I "have" to run an errand to the other side of town. My wife will be working so I probably won't get caught. My therapist is useless since she's more addicted than I am......

Calichrome - The Parrot is downtown on Last Chance Gulch - on the 'promenade' where you cannot drive. Been there since the 1920s (maybe 1930s). My mother went there after school in the 50's. Just walk down past the Power Block and the old Fliegelman's department store it it's on your right.

Yes to Wilcoxson's ice cream (yummy)...that place is one that my sister particularly likes to go.

Clashstrummer...DH and I will be right over for dessert.

Never try to go cold turkey. Personally I've been tapering off for 39 years.... I'm now down to only a few candy bars, a couple pieces of cake, three different flavors of chocolate ice cream a day. Oh yeah, and the Cafe Mocha Lattes. OK, there's the cookies but that's everything. I'm so proud of my self - should have seen when I had it bad....

farmerumf those digestive biscuits are so delicious :inlove:

abubadi66 I am not allowed to eat chocolate because of health too. I'm with the liver ... do to stress. But I can't help to not eat chocolate and other sweets. More rarely, but not giving up. Sweets are a weakness:p

@Arielh ..There are 2 famous cooks/bakers in England called Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood and they present a wonderful programme called "The Great British Bake Off", I love it!!!:inlove:
Anyway, Paul Hollywood was on a TV programme recently making this bread that you are showing in your picture, it looked lovely! He put the eggs in too.

Y'all, I need help!! LOL Last night @LDCrow said something about these delicious squares. This morning I made a run to the corner store and right there in the counter were Ghirardelli dark chocolate sea salt caramel squares. You know I had to get some!!! I have chocolate, but gave in and bought more chocolate!

I am trying to wait for a taste, but then I keep telling myself that "just one" will go nicely with my coffee. Nobody else is up yet here (US Central time), stop on by!! We'll have them all to ourselves!!

I'm afraid you will have consumed them all by the time I get there. You don't have a transporter I could use, do you? (Mountain time).

Best I could do would be overnight mail. But let's face it, they wouldn't make it to the post office!! :music::music::music::music:

I have a chocolate hangover. :sleepy: I think I need a little "hair of the dog" to take care of that this morning. Hmmm...a mocha latte seems just what the doctor ordered. ;)

Due to health issues I can't eat much Chocolate so I get my fix by drinking my daily Mocha cappuccinos...heavy on the mocha :D

We have a local Angel & Phelps chocolate factory that is just heavenly to visit. They give daily tours with free samples. From dark, milk to gourmet, they have a little of everything. One of the things my daughter just loves is their chocolate covered bacon....she says it's to die for o_O The eggs are white chocolate.

Just a reminder that the first Farmerama Chocoholics (not so) Anonymous meeting will be tonight! (Coincides with MM.)

Hot chocolate and chocolate covered strawberries will be served. For our favorite FOCD members, chocolate ice cream will be available.

It starts at dusk. (It's dusk somewhere isn't it?) It lasts 24 hours although you need not be present for the entire meeting. The only thing on the agenda is consuming all the chocolate goodies. (Please bring twice as much to share.) Our strawberry dipper is already at it and is such the perfectionist, welcomes anyone willing to dispose of the mistakes. We also have some red punch and nuts for those (do they exist) who are not chocoholics but are just here to support their loved ones. :)

Well I have to bake a cake for Easter today anyway so I might as well as make an extra for the FCA meeting. Hmmm....maybe I'll make a chocolate trifle instead of a cake. Now that's something I only make when I'm taking it somewhere and it is leaving my presence. It's chocolate cake drizzled with Kahlua and crushed toffee bars layered with chocolate custard and whipping cream. I generally feel like just putting my face directly in the bowl. Amazingly I never have to worry about bringing the leftovers home as there is never any leftover. ;)
