Hoppy Easter Strategy

I finished the event got the cloud row!
I'm lucky to get 2 times GB, some mystery trees & stables.
I don't remember do I got any mulch, if yes could only be once. never got SW but CAC once
those BEP, EP & CC is countless. Overall I feel happy for this event.

I may make some more bouquets, My drops excess that I could make
40 more bouquets if I like. But I will not make so much. I will only used
one field to grow Easter lily, other fields is to stock up those tulips & orchid.

 

Here is an example :

Say the price of orchid and tulip was 200 CC/unit repectively on the market. 1 Easter Bouquet will cost 24,000 CC.
What are the advantages?
CAC, SW, 1 PF, 3 PF, 10,000 EP, 10,000 BEP, 5,000 BEP, Borneo Wonder Tree, Orion Wonder Stable, 2 GB, 2 SSG, 2 SG, 12 h Harvester function, 48 h Harvester function, and XXL Toolbox are still giving good results.

10,000 EP = 1 royal wreath (the price of 1 royal wreath is greater than 24,000 CC)
10,000 BEP = 4 red punch (the price of 4 red punchs are greater than 24,000 CC)
5,000 BEP = 2 red punch (the price of 2 red punchs are equal of 24,000 CC)​

What are the disadvantages?
5,000 EP, 5,000 CC, and 10,000 CC.

@sudhir It's only an example if you bought anything through market.. I do not know how many CC for orchids and tulips in your market, you have to calculate again...


@farmer_broke I started to sell orchids and tulips when the price of orchids @ 110 cc/unit and tulips @ 200 cc/unit. I'm still overwhelmed withstand high demand of them (it's crazy to play over 500% of its market value). Many cheap tree fruits in every deal with high numbers, I tried to acquire as far as I can. Have been acquiring more than 100 million EV nowadays to help the poor farmers.
This is the first time I reached the bottom line of my bank account (about 25,000 CC right now), I broke!! I can't do much for next Wonder Tree event..

Orchids are sold out to -0- in my barn. Still dumping tulips. Have gone to listing in lots of 4000. Time running out to play around now. Time for farmers on my market to get those flower cloud rows going. Not spending anything for now. Already bought enough of the cheap junk to throw in the barn only to give farmers ccs to overpay. Wait until you see the deals after the event!

Broke huh! The mud_pie_man farm is ready to spend 38 million but no one will cut their prices ...... just yet ! Careful funding that tree fruit. It's easy to acquire and slow to dump it at a good profit . hahaha May as well just spend all the ccs and try to get to exactly -0-, exactly -0- . Create your own event.

I'll put out a call for a mid level crop after the event. Need to get the farmwife a little something so she won't start that growing junk foolishness.

Are you playing the cuckoos? I need to talk with you about that.

 

In My Market is Broke Free Market lol, As They are all buying my orchids and Tulips sold orchids as high as 160 CC each, Sold Tulips at high at 260 CC.

Still got plenty of them left to sell as i know will remain high while the event is running as I made 15 Million CC so Far still on CC Making Machine

I have been snapping up any loose bargains as i can find in my markets. I am willing to grow orchids and selling them if the price remains high. As I am still making Easter Bouquets to get Easter Eggs Almost got 200 Easter Eggs to Far. Still Hoarding away on Bouquet holders to Make Easter Bouquets as many as i can get good rewards.

 

In the rural hell hole I have found a lovely pub with wifi and have my cloud row. Thanks to those who sent bouquets and my very patient hubby!

 

congratulations to those completed! I need to give 8 more bouquet to bunnies and will finish too !

 

@farmer_broke Sshh.. Don't speak too loud about the cuckoos!! I have also been acquiring those little friendly critters.. Absorbing - more absorbing - the most absorbing cheap items through market to suck me dry of my coins..
CC was sunk!!
Easter lilies planted on all fields, easter bouquets produced on the millings, and crafting item can not produce anything due lack of ingredients. The only main resource is selling unnecessary items of the barn through market..


@Mooboy 15 million CC..Well done, your market is very promising profit than mine.. I think I have been spending over 30 million CC during current event.. EASY COME EASY GO !!

 

@SillyGuy Yup I know the calculation vary from mkt. to mkt. ...... Actually I was thinking about quitting this event ,as Producing Easter Lilies, making Bouquets and getting some rewards was getting a bit monotonus for me and rewards were not looking that attractive . But your calculation of BEP in terms of red punches or CC value changed my outlook and made me think again about playing full event.
So decided to play for some more Bahama gifts

I stopped counting when I got to event revenues of 50 million and my market crew went on an Easter Egg Hunt.

Trying to dump the rest of these tulips I've been saving for my good customers. We're now playing a game of "how low can you go." Nowhere near my mark either and about 170,000 more to dump.

Need to take a vacation and get back to work.

Well, both my farms are at the final furlong. I will get the crops by tomorrow afternoon and I am sure I will get the drops tomorrow morning. I have really enjoyed the fact that, though my work commitments were the very worst possible for an event, I managed to do the growing with ease and the drops have been reasonable.

I have wasted a lot of farm time - growing event crops overnight, etc, which is not very economical but there was no other way to do it. I have also had no seeding machinery so it was a way to minimise the clicking! Be glad to get back to animals and workshops!

Any neighbours reading this, I only need 11 Bouquet Holders on Illy and only 64 Bouquet Holders on this farm so no need to send me any more (thanks for all those sent already by the way. ) I will not be doing extra bouquets!

 

Done some calculations and now switching from concentrating on bouquets to selling items. Being careful, looks like I can make more that way. I still plan to still do some bouquets, but am slowly switching to production, getting ready for the next event. I cannot outright buy powerfeed or wonderstables/borneo trees, of course, plus its just fun to do the event.

 

Out of 81 so far, the only remarkable prizes -the ones that have provided better value than the investment, at current orchid/tulip prices- have been 4 Orion MysteryStables, 3 Borneo Mystery Seedlings (these ones, as the Orion MSs, almost impossible to assess), 1x48hs harvester, 1 CAC, 1 Spring Wreath and 6x10K B-EPs (20% of total). The rest has been at either a tie with the investment -10K EPs or 5K B-EPs- (20 occurrences, about 25%) or at a direct loss -10K CCs, 5K CCs, 1 PF, 1 turbo-mulch- (the rest, 55%).

Therefore, for me, so far, it was convenient in only 1 every 5 tries, I was left even in 1 every 4 tries, and I lost in 1 every slightly more than 2 tries.

When comparing with Red Punches -my usual standard measure for assessing all B-EP-yielding things-, I use an 11K CCs avg -more or less the avg of the cost of those I make and the cost of those I buy-. For Easter bouquets, besides the cost of orchids and tulips, it has to be taken into consideration the event's crops needed, by using a crop that would take the same time to grow -the ones you could grow if you were not growing the event's crops-. If I take peonies, for instance (it could be lady's bedstraw, at 100 CCs each), now selling at about 80 CCs each in my mkt, that means the total cost of making each Easter Bouquet is: 200CCs*30 (tulips) + 150CCs*30 (orchids)+ 80CCs*150 (peonies, as an equivalent to the event's crops) = 22500 CCs each. Hence, it's almost the same as the cost of mine for 2 Red Punches (22000 CCs) that would yield 5K B-EPs, in fact.

That's why I haven't grown any event's crops in Bahamarama: while the Flower CR is active, I produce bromeliads there.

I won't put much effort, then, in getting more than 100 Easter bouquets done, given my odds and the costs I'm seeing. I'll do some, though, just for the chance of getting 2 GBs (equivalent to 720K B-EPs for me, now) or either Orion stables or Borneo seedlings.

By using the figures of your market -and considering the odds you're observing for yourself-, everyone can thus assess if it's of any worth going beyond the 100 Easter bouquets mark.

 

I reckon once you reach 100 the rewards are somewhat diminished.

Delivered my 130th just now and all I've seen is Ep/Bep and CC's. Not complaining but I will not carry on feeding those hungry Bunnies no more. Cute as they are but they've served their purpose! Easter is officially over

 

I agree. I will finish up with the event plants/bouquets I've got now. Back to stocking up. Never saw any GBs and pretty much used up the CACs I got during the event. As soon as I have finished, I'll put out the stables and trees to see if I had any luck there.

 

Event completed for me! I now have highest crop in field, blueberry and animals in glade. Will do also as others, use up remainder of event crop when bouquets come in. Many levels in Bahama achieved from bunnies! Thank you to friends who sent gifts!!

finished event, no GBs from bunnies, mainly ep and bep and cc, i got 1 seedling and 5 orion stables.

 

My excess bouquets only give me BEP/EP & CC and 3 X 1 Mulch
I like others, got tired of this. So, main land all 3 field available plot just for tulips, Baha will
not grow event crop after I harvest this round. island will turn back to normal farming too.
Then make the remain bouquets & say goodbye to the events.
I will sell some tulips on market, now selling 168CC, If price drop down too fast, I will
just keep stock up them. Some of my crop drop down to 5000 (my min keep level)
Next wonder tree event is Apr 10, Don't know if any event crop need. I need to use this
3 days to stock up my crops!
