Thanks Mir85 and Beedance for the advice. I'll put it to good use. :)

On a side note I've just discovered that if you remove all your stables and then use up all your manure it doesn't magically regenerate. xD

I've managed to make level 36 and am currently trying to grow enough flowers to hopefully get 10 bouquets and the first prize before the event ends. So space vs the small boost from the poo is the current dilemma. I'm going with the space.

I'm right there with you Clash although I also decided to tie up my mill making power feed last night. Don't ask me what I was thinking cause obviously I wasn't.

Yeah, I'm discovering it's a big juggle. At first I just pulled out about half my animal pens, then Saturday morning, I went 'whole hog' and pulled them all out so I could grow more lilies. I'm at 82 bouquets delivered and I have 4 more churning in the mill as I write this, so I might make it to 100 before the end of the event. But, in the meantime, I'm out of manure, out of food, etc. So this morning I put back in just a handful of animals and I've had to plant a crop or two for farm society orders. Need the CCs!

oh, Sweinglady - does that mean that if you remove your stables they are not lost forever? They just go back into the packing case?

Chris if you delete them they do indeed just go into storage. However it's best to wait until right after you have harvested them and collected the manure and before you feed them. Deleting them resets them so you will lose any food or water and the current production. This also applies to trees and permanent decorative items.

Great newsl thanks LDC - I got a stork stable and a dove one from of the "wonder stable" things and don't see any need for them now, but didn't want to delete them. just in case. Now I know I can slap them back in the packing case until such time as they might be useful :)

"first you get the money, then you get the power and then you get the women"
quote from scarface movie. this is my strategy with farmerama. make a lot of cc's, move up quickly so you unlock bigger and better products so you can make more cc's and ep. once you have enough money you start to stock up the different pens and trees and workshops. this gives you the power to produce your own items needed without having to rely on the markets too much. the women are the beautiful rewards you get from events. reading posts on strategies for the events people use a lot of artisan products along with expensive manure. this is why i use events to line my pockets selling manure and event items. scrolling the markets all the time learning prices can really save you a lot of cc. once i reach a certain point where i can go a few days without having to make cc's then i will start to participate in events.

Chris there will be farmer quests that require both the stork and the dove. There are ones for all the animals sooner or later. Whether you decide to stock up on them or put the pen in storage until later is of course up to you. Priorities of space for animals, crops, etc is a big part of the game. No right or wrong decisions as long as it's how you want to play. Even "mistakes" are OK, we simply change if something isn't working for us right now.

Right, BeeDance - I like having the more rare animal pens because the animals tend to fetch higher prices at the market, so even though I don't always need them at the moment, having one or two on hand is good for quick CCs via the market.

I think one of the reasons I loved this game from the get-go was because it appeals to the entrepreneurial side of me...

at the beginning i never filled them for lack of funds but now i go through them everyday. as i built up my cc's i started to fill orders. i find orders to be a huge boost to my ep, easily spending 50-100k everyday buying items for orders. you will start to see quite a few orders that give you 2k-4k ep. once you get customers to lv4 and 5 you can get 25k+ ep/day. i tend to mostly do crop orders, i do not have enough cc's to be buying animals and breed animals.

this is true sewinglady. my experience, it all comes down to how much time you have to spend playing the game. from what i can see, the more time you have the better off you will be with the shorter production times for crops and animals. if i had the time the only crop i would grow is lettuce. is there another crop that will give you more cc's or ep/hr? and the only animal i would use is chickens for the cc'c, but then the game would become very boring quickly.

I think the difference in thought may be in growing your crops vs buying them on the market. I can't speak for Clash but for myself I'm growing the bulk of the crops I'm using. So I'm all about increasing space and I'm currently working on getting all of the glade open. Using my crops for those orders when I'm not getting a star in return does not further my cause.

I do agree it all comes down to time. Since I'm working from home I can check in every few hours or so and rotate crops around. I made quite a bundle selling orchids on the market during the Easter event. Just a different way to play that's the great thing no right or wrong way and everyone can approach it differently.

If you want to breed animals you should wait when there is an Baby Boom Event

Thanks to the Easter event I'm teetering on the edge of level 40. Time to try to figure out which trade to choose. Seems I've got some reading to do.

Seems to me that the confectioner is the only one that does not require me to have at least one type of a production pen in use before I can even get started. Seems like a good choice to me. :)

I went for the confectioner first and it really wasn't too long before I was working towards getting the florist!

i went with bakery thinking i could bake myself baha points but no. didnt research to see what was really needed. jumped into doing the quest to open it up quickly just to see it sitting there doing nothing most of the time. you will need plenty of sugar to produce items. you get one recipe for free i believe, the rest you need to buy with BB. lv1 items need 20 sugar and lv2 products will need 40 sugar. with both trophies totaling 21% i can get around 20 drops per day now, enough to bake 1 product every 2 days. if i could go back i would let it sit for a long time till i built up a huge supply of salt or sugar. you can open it and buy product to eat to lv you up but can get expensive over time.

if you spend BB for sugar and recipes it can be a great tool to advance quickly.
