Feedback April Wonder Trees & Herbarium Quest

Everyone here and said exactly what I am thinking. No stars. No room. To add a quest with no stars after all the grievances??? I'm shaking my head in disbelief. Don't know what else to add that everyone here hasn't already said. I'm holding on to my money too for now.

 

Eventually I will be making it my primary concern to complete all quests (will be happening next year). I can safely say this will be the lowest of my priorities.

As others have mentioned, the prizes are dismal; usually it is the stars that entices me to complete levels, in spite of the poor EP/CC yield that it might offer. With no stars, I see no value to this quest. It's requirements simply don't equate to it's prizes - it is a serious loss.

I will probably complete it when I have a stockpile of the required items, but I won't be going out of my way to complete it.

 

Like I've said: it's a pity.. a massive pity...

 

Last time the tree packages were on sale I spent BBs on them. This time I certainly won't be. I always buy BBs on mega EP days. This time I won't be. What I've done instead is switched that money over to the new game that I've started playing - probably not allowed to mention its name but its initials are FL - and I've spent the evening playing that instead of farming.
So boo to you BP. I love my farm but you're spoiling it for me. You had a great idea but you seem to be hellbent on ruining it. Are you mad or just daft?

 

The wonder trees, if it come with Mega EP Day, always temp me to spend BB
to buy some trees, also buy the BB, I need to keep my machinery!
But, sorry, this time, A definitely NO for Mega EP date, As for wonder trees,
I still had much BB left, But I will really consider how to spend it, if I decided to quit this game
I will spend it. If not, I will more carefully use it as I will not spend money to buy BB until BP
give me a satisfactory response on the recent matters!

 

I can only speak for myself but I am sure i am not the only one who feels the constant push for our money has gone far beyond the saturation point. The wonder trees.. sorry, no wonder to it anymore, it is a given that very few will get any new addition, and I am peeved that for months i have tried for buddas hand and no joy! I know these new trees /stables can be offered as prize in event or quests as they were in the past, however It has been suggested more than a few times and bp seems to ignore, and put out yet more unattainable trees/stables. smh how does bp expect the players paying or not to be loyal and courteous to them when the players are not being shown the same by BP? It has been several months since I spent RM on this game and the rate it is going now, I never will again. Action speaks louder than words, so show us the proof that you really want to maintain your customer base.

 

I must admit that I was waiting to this new event with BBs ready to be spent as I already did previously- it seemed to me reasonable because usually you had to purchase even more than 30 seedling to eventually get new trees. This time I'll pass as the prizes are ridiculous! Moreover, decide once for all: are there stars in the permanent quests or not? All this bla bla bla about how you hear community clearly and that you consider our feedbacks, and then you make a move that is even worse than previous....

 

Business wise, this is not good business, games are entertainment, and you are not serving the purpose when bringing such packages, in the previous event you asked for feed back, and did not listen to what people says, the packages are over priced, that many people refuses to buy any more, also an important part for doing business is choosing the wright time to present your offer, which is obvious here that you failed by bringing this while the players are not happy for many reasons you know what they are because you always ask for feed back, anyway you closed your ears and just did what you want, so what is the point by keep asking for feed back, any way you asked for it and as long you keep asking we are going to repeat what we say always until finally it reaches some one who is willing to do something, also it is obvious that the players does not need new trees or animals now, there is better things to do instead of wasting time bringing these, use your time on finding solutions to the problems that the players are screaming about, it is the biggest and oldest issue in farmerama which is the lacking of space, over the years there was too many promises to find a solution, and what you do is complicating the issue, the space is very small and limited, and you jammed it up with tons of new trees and stalls and events that there is no space or time available to accommodate all these with the high demands for events and quests, that it is not entertaining at all.

For the new quest, the herbarium, while you managed to bring a very successful quests like Soup and Friends, even with very high demands, the player were very happy to do that quest, because of the rewards, even they are anticipating for a follow up to that quest (Soup and Friends II), and Castles on the sand which even demands more, and not all are happy about it now, but I think they will be later, or at least partially, what you did here is a quest that does not have any thing to motivate the players to do, you removed the stars, and the turn back is worthless EP, or BEP, and other useless things, like 2 stickers, or 5 turbo mulch for diamond step, who needs these now, and again, you choose to bring it in the worst time, while the players are shocked by the way BP handled up the mill and cloud row issues and the things that are happening at the German forum. over all it is not professional, it is also not professional for our respected director to hide for the last two news letters while before he used to address us directly, and let the moderators take the heat.

 

BP needs to stop removing certain trees from circulation in during wonder seedling events. Players can try for months to get a certain tree to no avail, then lose the opportunity when BP decides to no longer offer the tree through wonder events. Not a very good business tactic as players are beginning to realise the abysmally biased gamble that they are taking, and will stop choosing to spend more RL money on BBs to buy wonder trees that probably won't yield the right trees.

 

It has become impossible to keep up with all the new trees and quests. It is no longer entertaining, but rather a chore in a minefield of money pitfalls.

 

I don't understand why BP keeps asking for feedback when they completely ignore the feedback they get.

If they were listening... I would say:
1] I will never buy a 200 bb package of trees.
2] Where is the single click to harvest orchard we all asked for?
3]Please never give us quests where we can make more money selling the products in the market then we can having to buy them in the market for the quest.
4]Please never give us quests without stars.
5]Please never give us quests that don't have rewards much greater then just selling the produce in the market would generate.

Not buying anymore lottery trees or stables, I'm going to wait until I can buy what I want. I've had too many replicas and no new trees and animals.

 

Being relatively new to the game, I didn't have many of the trees needed to fill quests, Stone Pine being just one of the many I do need. I also needed some more XL and XXL trees as I don't have enough cc's to purchase the fruits in the market and feel good about saving cc's for what is truly necessary to complete events successfully. It's hard to build up quantities to complete quests with one tree. I also don't have space to utilize most of the trees I will get and most of them will sit in my inventory. I do hope someday that we get some areas specifically designated for our trees. It's all very frustrating.... needing some, but where do I put them? So, silly me, being that I needed a few trees....I did invest in the tree packs but I won't do the new quest.... it seems to be a futile effort given it asks for so many with few rewards, especially when I need to finish other quests first which offer more valuable rewards. I also just started this game in January, so my Star amount is hurting in hopes of opening things on the Tree of Wisdom that I need to successfully compete with others in events and in general in the game. I won't ever be able to open up the top rune of the tree at this rate.... and I wonder why you took the stars away? For a new player there is no such thing as excess stars... they are a necessary tool in being successful in this game. Big Hugs and thank you's to Teddy for being brave and asking us for feedback. All of your hard work is appreciated and I for one am very grateful for all that you do for us. I think it's important for BigPoint to know exactly how much these changes have hurt us and how we think about our future here in the game.

 

No stars is reason enough for me to skip this event.

 

i need a amaherstia tree for bahamarama from this event and after 3 attempts and many bb's i am quitting this event because all i ever get from this is repeat after repeat of trees,so far i have not seen the improvements,i will be busy growing crops for the existing quests that are more complicated now with each added new one. pretty frustrating don't you think?!?

 

So we're not even getting stars for permanent quests now? *slow clap*

The people above have said it far more eloquently than I could, but I have to add that this has got to be one of the most pointless and annoying quests ever. No stars and ridiculously paltry rewards in return for masses of expensive tree fruit, combined with blatant moneygrubbing (Buy more wonder trees! Buy more MORE! MOOOAAAAR!! Yeah, no I don't think so.)

I actually do pay money for this game; I have the monthly harvester subscription and occasionally I shell out a bit for BBs, but the latter is stopping NOW and I'm seriously considering putting a stop to the Harvester subscription as well, close shop and do something else with my time. I do not appreciate being constantly squeezed for money in increasingly insidious ways and I do not like being manipulated. I am prepared to pay money for a hobby but I require something useful and worthy in return.

 

like i said before i spent way too many BB's and for what ,another brazil nut tree,another elderberry tree,another pistachio tree,and yet there are now more new quests in the FS that are requiring things that i seem to never get when i play in these mini events,and on top of that now the cinema isn't working again and that is how i earn my BB's,now i cannot move fast enough in any direction,i will now proceed to suggestion forum and tell you,BP,what you need to do..."frustrated", !!!!!

 

Teddy, thank you for your constant attentions. I repeat what others have said in that we definitely do not hold any grudge against you, and am sorry you are having to field the ire you did nothing to cause.

I am using some saved up BBs, buying some of each of the "wonder" trees, but definitely not buying a pack. I decided, due to mill actions, not to spend any real money on the game. (an honesty, integrity, "bait and switch" issue for me) I imagine these trees will be about like other times, if I am quite lucky, I may get a new tree, otherwise, I will likely get more to put in storage.

Normally, I absolutely would have bought a pack. Though I don't need 30 trees, it seems that packs are the only way to ensure getting one of the new, special trees. But, I am not spending money on a game that offers things only to pull them back after I buy them.

The herbarium, though.. it looks like I might complete the first level, but not anything else, at least for some time (if I am still with Farmerama then...). Prizes just are not worth much.

 

I am in total agreement with everyone here. I usually buy the packs of trees and the large BB package. But I will not spend any $$ until things change. As for the new quest. I will NOT donate one thing to it ever. NO STARS!! Hello, is anyone listening? This is very bad business. I usually spend money on my Farm (My Hobby) but I'm no longer doing that. I don't know what else I can add that everyone has not already said. It sounds to me like BP is loosing lots of $$ by not listening to it's loyal customers (I am one of them).

This is not directed at you Teddy.bear. You are awesome!!

 

I can only reiterate what's already been said really.
1, Bring back the stars!!!
2, IMPO the 30xtree packages are too expensive and I think 30 trees in one go isn't necessary and takes away the 'wonder' of getting a few trees now and then. It's like RL commercialism..it's just greedy!
3, The rewards for the new quest are rubbish for what you're asking us to give!
4, Excuse me for being this blunt but you can stick your stickers.. somewhere else. They are pointless,useless and worthless!
5, I too used to enjoy the 'wonder' in the wonder stables/trees but the mini event has turned into an actual event (even though it's just you trying to flog more stuff???) and you're bringing new animals/trees out at a rate of knots..we feel bombarded instead of excited!
6, I do have some BB's left over so will continue to purchase things here and there but once those run out, I will see the state of play before I purchase anymore!
7, I can't say it enough...I love this game but it is becoming a money grabbing, confusing, tiresome chore in some ways and I've only been playing for 7/8 mths...would be sad to leave the farm but when you're only entertainment becomes a pain in the you know what then it's not entertainment anymore is it!
8, Getting bored of repeating myself, getting bored of the repetition that is apparent across the forum, amongst the players because the same issues are cropping up/not being addressed/not being dealt with!
I have spent less 'quality time' on here past couple of days and it might get even less depending what happens!
