    hello all,
where to start, so much to do. coming up to one month of play this weekend and i am currently sitting at lv57 farm and lv16 baha. things have definitely slowed down considerably. built up a small nest egg around 300k cc's and the barn is pretty empty constantly looking for quests to complete. only thing i havnt been using are the tools i have accumulated.
i am currently producing chickens as my main source of income along with a few turkeys. was looking at the workshop and then the market and back to the workshop. i think i will most likely use tools to upgrade yellow pens to orange pens. most products from can be purchased easily enough from proceeds from chickens. chickens seems to be the best item to easily sell and has the least amount of price fluctuation. i just do not see the benefit of building workshops when you can buy the products usually for around the same price it would take you to produce them and save the long hours.

i also have noticed quite a few quests that require high lv items to complete. getting along fine completing a certain fsq and then run into an item that is 20 lvs higher or more. there are quite a few quests that combine a low level item with a lv60+ item, especially for baha.

mainly focusing on fsq that give me harvester time for now, will have to see what happens when they run out. spending $20+ per month is pretty steep for me for a browser game. especially when there is no finish line to cross.

    feelfree,
Chickens are a really good choice for making CCs. Better than a lot of critters. Plus their poo. IF one has the time to sit around and harvest every hour. I hate spending coins on chickens because they are so quick. But sometimes I buy them anyway. I wouldn't waste much time on any yellow pen, depending on your resources. Orange is better for ALMOST all pens. I look at the time for pens I can harvest twice a day. That changes as one acquires buffs, like cloud rows, trade goods, etc.

I buy the harvester & seeder during half price sales because of hand/arm pain. I'm limited to how much time I can spend online. I try to buy 300BB pkg during Mega EP sales to pay for the harvest&seeder, and a few other goodies.

You've made great progress so far. Enjoy the game.

Garden expo - it's my nemesis; I will remove it from my FSQ incomplete list! And then it's soup n friends (so far I've completed silver and gold on all levels and diamond on the pigs - boy did donating that hard earned piggy hurt!).

What is most effective/beneficial changes as you move up in level and complete various quests/events. Chickens are a good choice in many circumstances, but don't ignore other options. Its good to constantly review prices and options.

Per workshops... it is true that many quests can be completed more quickly by just buying the products. However, this is not always true. Some items have a quite high return value, though perhaps not ones you can make right now. A few timed quests actually require you to have the pens because its based on production, not stock in hand. Similarly, having pens can allow you to be prepared for events.

I am a big believer in orange pens now, after reading other suggestions (sorry, cannot remember who should get the credit). However, I would say orange chicken pens are not a good investment. Most players wind up with several from farm wheel wins, etc. Other pens are much harder to come by and offer a better long term return. If you use all your tools now to build orange pens, I believe you will wind up regretting it.. maybe not, just may opinion (and there is no set "best answer" by any means).

Bottom line... do what you feel is best, but consider periodically whether choices you made early on are still best.

Hi woody :) I think it depends on your playing style, orange chicken pens are my favorite orange pens :D A while ago I reached my goal of a full field (44) of orange chicken pens :D

And here I thought I was the only one! It's not only my favourite orange pen, it's my favourite of them ALL! :inlove: Also aiming for that goal, although not in a hurry.

Just opened the first part of shipwreck Island... yeah!!!!

Having to slow down a bit on my quests now to do both the Easter event and moonlight mania, but very happy with the progress I am making! (even if I did buy too many sloths at inflated prices :()

6 weeks in now, reached lv65 and lv28 baha. trophies are at 21%. just got my first wonder stables from quest, cat, bear and moose.
need to scrap apple trees soon for higher experience trees. slowly converting yellow chicken pens to orange, have 5 now. opened up cloud row, dont know why. i have nothing to put into it. only 7 items in park, i think i need to buy more deco items and fill up park before thinking about cloud rows. opened up bakery, dont know why, no salt to bake with.
will need to come up with a better strategy for ep while still trying to making cc's.

Υοu need to wait and eventually you will get much salt. Keep growing crops and you will have drops.

I have recently finished my first goal of getting to 2000 of each crop. Whilst doing that I was milling feed for my animals, now have at least 300 feed for each animal except those I don't have the crops for yet. Ripped out my plots and replaced with all trees (except about 4 that don't fit) and animal pens, now working on getting those animals up. Have about 25 free spaces in which I have plots to continue growing crops, trying to get to 3000 of each but that will take ages as I barely make any per batch. Still milling more food for animals.

Congratulations squiggle :D I know how hard it is to grow all the crops yourself, I don't do it anymore, but I used to :p

Hi Mir! :) I'm working of step 2/8 now. I have enough coins for step two I think maybe. :) But every time I get enough rabbits to give to the quest, I sell them and buy something. And what I'm buying is keeping me broke, again.

I'm working real hard on that quest. :)

    I am impressed :D

I have a challenge for you: Every time you go to the market to sell your rabbits, take a detour to the Farmers Society and give them -1- rabbit, that's all. Then I am sure you will finish the quest sometime :p

Keep up the good work :)

Thank you Mir. I should have come to you a long time ago. Great idea! :)

And when I finish giving -1- rabbit a day .... wow! .... I will give -1- goat a day next. This is great! :)

The only part I don't want to do is grow -1- potato a day :cry:

But I want to make you proud of my growing. I may even use a CAC a day and get more potatoes. :) But I'm only growing that junk on -1- plot, a 1x1!

I know better than to ask you to grow something farmer_broke :D

When the time comes for potatoes, I have a solution for that too :p Go to the shop, buy 100 potatoes, deliver -1- to the farmers society, then go to the market and sell 99, I am sure you will know how to make a profit even ;)

    Good luck!
