Things have been getting a little tense round here of late so decided to start a thread purely for positivity! :D

You can write a paragraph, a blooming great big post or just one sentence but it must be positive/about something positive! As there is already a thread dedicated to 'Happy Farm News' I think this thread should be to do with real life (yes real life and not the farm...xD).

It can be as simple as "what a beautiful day today, the sun is shining and I feel great!", maybe you got a nice surprise, the birth of a baby, someone helped you out unexpectedly or you just wanna share positive sentiments to help lift the mood.

As some of you will have seen (and participated in) the wonderful thread recently started called 'Rummage Through Your Pantry'.
A great thread and idea for us to share and help others out thus creating more positivity through generosity and kindness! Please do check it out and join in if you like the idea! :)

Anybody else got the title song of this thread in their head now? Visions of Life of Brian, my fave movie and whistling away!:D

Me too! I have the song in my brain (or should that be Brian :p )
Always chuckle when I hear 'He's a very naughty Boy'.

I woke up this morning and got out of bed. Does that count? And, I didn't die of "mike fright" yesterday at the big Farmer's Market meeting. It went pretty well. Meeting lasted just about an hour and we managed to get packed up and gone by 3 p.m. so the day wasn't entirely spent on the meeting. In other good news, DH found golf balls at the Salvation Army. For his bugs. As in he makes bugs out of golf balls.

o_Ooh ooh almost forgot! Best part of yesterday's tour of the local thrifts...I found two fold up display racks - they fold down flat, but opened they are three shelves - there were two matching - gold painted metal - heavy so they won't blow away in our wind, too! Was so excited to find them. They'll be a perfect display for my "Cozy Cocoons"!

I have just come back from checking a field of lambs, I was a little worried as it has been quite wet and cold today. Just as I arrived the sun came out and I have just seen the most amazing rainbow ever!! A triple one, and the bottom one was incredibly bright. It stretched from end of the field to the other from my perspective and the lambs were none the worse for their 'cold n' wet' day. I really wished I had a camera with me :)

Because of my anxiety condition I require a service dog. Because my anxiety is always so bad he is constantly "on". This morning I have been feeling really relaxed and he has had the opportunity to leave my side to do whatever he wants instead of sitting near me to monitor my feelings. As I sit on the back porch, he keeps bringing me his ball to throw. Seeing him so relaxed and happily romping through the back yard with his ball makes me so happy! His job is to feel my stress and make me feel a little better, but this morning it's all about his fun!

LabMommy30 - he's doing his job in reverse! He's helping keep your anxiety level lower! I just love that our dogs can help us through the worst of things - even the ones who aren't trained especially for it. Pug hugs heal all sorts of things...

My very beloved cat went for his annual vet checkup and got a 100% clean bill of health. To me that is the very best of news. :inlove:

8)"I woke up this morning..." YES, YES, YES, sewinglady, that sure counts in my book!!!:D LOL! And it was a beautiful, sunshiney day, too! No more snow, or gray, foggy, wet day - even though those have their own beauty.:music: It has finally stopped snowing and it has all (well, 99%) melted off....and the grass is g-r-e-e-n!! The flowers are beginning to pop out of the ground:inlove:....Spring is finally making an appearance! Yaaaaaayyyy!!! Happy Day!!!:D:D:D

I am binge watching a show I found on Netflix, D.O.G. (yes, that's really his name, but I say it fast so it sounds more like an exotic name-"deeoji") my service animal at my side, playing "my game" (Famerama!!). Just relaxing the afternoon away. Ah, how nice!

Had regular physical this morning. Doctor did blood test so I don't have to wait 'til next week for follow up with the specialist to make sure I'm still cancer free (one year - yay!)

Thanks labmommy! I miscounted though - 10 months since surgery; it was in June, biopsy was in April. But I'll still take it!

I am learning about young living essential oils, and find that they are so good for us, a few weeks ago I was dealing with the aura that preceeds migraine (squiggly flashes of light which disrupts vision, creates nausea etc...) anyhow, I told my sister that dealing with the aura is actually worse than the actual migraine, she suggested I use lavender oil and peppermint oil and put on temples. I did and the aura was gone instantly and staved off the migraine too.
