I didnt need nor want 30 more trees cuz where would i put them, but i knew if bought them individually i would have to keep buying before I got anything good. As it turns out I was successful in getting my Stone Pine trees and my hand fruit trees, for that I am grateful.

I think that what bothers me most about the "guaranteed" packages is that, in real life, if you buy a large quantity of something, you get a quantity discount. In this case, you pay a premium. I think if it had been the other way, more farmers would have gladly ponied up the BBs for the package.

    Hi!

Ok, I did break down and buy four (count them, 4) trees each for Baha and the mainland. This is instead of the 20 - 30 trees of each (adding up to a total of 200 - 300 BBs) I normally buy (which is often accompanied by an infusion of RM to get the BBs). I used some of the BBs I had left over, (I'm not spending any more RM for the moment) and only because I wanted a second Loquat tree and another Tamarind tree. I lucked out and got the Loquat (but not the new Sorb tree), and while I didn't get the Tamarind I wanted, I was really surprised to get a Baobab. :D:D:D

But even so, I'm not going to be buying more trees this time around, given BP's most recent shenanigans. I hope they start to feel the revenue pinch from other players doing the same. Maybe that will get them to change things for the better, though I'm not holding my breath.-.-:sleepy:-.-

I Discided to Give Baharamam Trees Seeding a Miss. This Time, as Many of you are going getting a good Rate of New Trees. As I did get some seeding Rare Trees last time on Bahamarama. As I wanted to get some rare Bahamarma Tamarind and Amaherstia Trees for The Recently New Quest.

Since The Latest Herbarium Quest FAQ giving useless rewards there is no point for me to get any new Rare Trees I made do with what i got, Also Made a Huge amount of CC with Easter Event. I Simply Buy the Rare Fruits from the Market at Good Price use this to complete the Quest without Wasting any BB

The Prices of Kowhai Bloom and Tamarind Fruits will eventually start to fall as more farmer will start to sell these fruits for good cc. So I be Snapping up any good price rare fruits from the Markets to complete What a Relief and Picky Pirate Quest

Dbayes sorry not getting much luck with New Rare Trees this time :( Any way on Hold onto my BB for something more rewarding :p

In amongst all the other issues, I almost missed the fact that the new Herb. quest is repeatable. That would be a nice feature, but this quest is one most of us are not going to want to do even once. Unless the market changes a GREAT deal, the benefits from the products are far too low to make it worthwhile.

In some cases, I, and I am sure others, will spend "too much" of a product to get something that simply won't be available otherwise.. particularly event prizes. However, this quest just offers standard EP, CCs, BEP, etc. and in quantities that just don't justify the product outlay. (stickers are absolutely WORTHLESS!)

The only level even halfway "worthwhile" is the first level... but immediately below that is another one requiring huge amounts of very expensive tree fruits.

Sadly, this quest is going to appear every time we click on the farm building. I have a feeling more than a few people will wind up completing parts of it by mistake, because of that -- particularly when in a rush for whatever reason. In that event, the fact that it is repeatable is an absolute negative! If you are going to do a repeatable quest, it should be placed last!

woody, if you sort your FSQ after "recently started" it will end up last ;)

Tried it, but then whatever quest I am working on is first, and then I have to go through the list again to get to the next one... more hassle than its worth. The same for a few other settings. [sigh] thanks for the suggestion, but I am going to stay with it as is.

Did not wind up buying wonder trees. I am back to playing for free. We'll see what happens with the pears and baobab fruit.
