125 drops a day we need to get to gather all the amount. I believe the crop requirement is difficult, all the other are animals and tree fruit we get in low levels so is easy to have them.

 

Two points:-

According to the FAQ, marjoram can't be grown on Baha but the hops can. (Edit: Although the EP info seems to indicate the reverse...)

The cloud row gives 10 x herbal elixir with a cooldown of 12hr - well worth having!!

So, those who want to plant 1x1 fields, have to seed and water them manually?
In all previous events it was always all functions, or haverst coupons.
What is going on with you guys?

 

We can just to the silver part to move on which may help lower level players - that is what I used to do to get the prizes I wanted.

Still no stars on offer whereas in the past an event like this would have yielded 36 (correct me if my maths is out) - not good for the newcomers.

I will try for the cloud row first then see what time etc I have left.

Yes, but NEW PEOPLE BE WARNED, the cloud row without the decorations is worthless. You need to decorations to make it work!

I hope you get the wolf den Bhodho. I already have one from the previous event.
I won't try to get the cloud row and I don't need herbal elixirs, so is it worth trying to get the items?

 

If you want items for shipwreck bay it is worth it I think

I am surprised there are no stars. I am also surprised there is no power feed to be won; that would have been a great prize considering the next event.

Well, allthough the rewards seem quite nice, I'm taking it slow on this event. I'll try to complete all silver tasks and the Golds from Level 3 and 6.

With again so many crop requirements I'm not gonna try for the rest....

Hey, this gives me time to prepare for the breeding event and maybe earn a nice amount of CC again

 

I too, will be "cherry picking" my steps in this event.

 

Mucha's Masterpiece and Jakub's Sugar Cube are very good by themselves in both EPs and B-EPs terms; the Czech Flower Bed is just good.

To be able to get the CR and the corresponding items, only steps 1 and 3 could be left unfinished (thus saving 1850 hops dl, 1600 marjorams and 152 red garnets).

For those not in need of herbal elixirs -like me-, though the items are worth having in parks provided you have at least 5 owls (greater potential EP/B-EP effect if you also have other EP/B-EP-boosting pets; if you only have 4 owls or less it's not even worth considering this option), the 12 hs cooldown time means you can potentially get both 5K B-EPs + 5K EPs per day. I pondered for a moment not bothering with the CR since I could probably get as much as 40/60% more B-EPs per day from the items if placed in the parks, but at the cost of removing EP-yielding items that would reduce the EP daily yield by roughly 5+K EPs. So, a total 10K EPs/day loss for just 2/3K B-EPs more per day. I don't think it'd be a good deal.

Therefore, considering also the tilias, I'll also go for the CR, where I'll place the items. In other words, I'll complete the event fully, even though neither the hedgehog nor the wolf pens (or the herbal elixirs the CR will yield) are of any real interest to me. But the tilias and the overall EPs/B-EPs contribution it'll make are.

Crops requirements are rather high for 6 days. I will try to avoid planting hops dl in Baha, though, since the equivalent duration crop there (cactus), yields slightly 100% more EPs/plot. WARNING: hops dl do not yield any B-EPs when planted in Baha: they yield EPs, as in main lands. --> therefore, the next sentence is no longer a valid one. This long time event crop is only good/attractive for those still not having the longer Baha crops unlocked, for overnight production.

The rest of the prizes are so so.

And I agree they must start giving stars again. It'll otherwise be too hard for all lower level players to get the stars they need now and will in the future.

 

I still have all trees on the farm but have everything else ready in the barn. Just need to grow event crops and collect drops.

For those who will be around often today, it is a good day to chicken farm and sell the birds and their manure. Prices are already high and rising...put in long crops overnight. Good luck!

 

The animals and tree fruits should (mostly) already be in stock for many. But those crop and drop numbers are very high! Time to hit the markets and buy some CACs! I'm going ALL IN!

I'm all in too. Will devote all fields to the event (though I would like to keep out certain trees/workshops/pens but that is a full field) as RL has some demands most days this week. Hubby having a procedure Wed so will be at hospital most of the day and I will leave all fields at that time in deluxe hops. EP items are good, CR good, rare stalls always good to add a couple, and new trees for who knows what BP will ask them for later. I was sorry to see the machinery was for only the harvester(what is up with that?) and not a voucher. For those that do not have machinery, time your donations so that you can benefit from it (example: don't donate before bed and lose that time overnight). Also sorry no PF as that will be needed next week.

Since this is the strategy thread....where to put all these new pens and trees? I need to 'rent/lease' more space

 

I am extremely sorry that there are no Stars too ... and that machinery. Why so stingy?

But, FOCD still has its claws in me so count me in for the Czech Roots Extravaganza! I really want those wolves! (Does anybody else find that a very bizarre thing to say - it is definitely not something that I ever thought I would utter.)

I don't really want to clear all fields but unfortunately I too have a busy working week. I also want to get the most out of CAC. I will not move my Glade but will probably use the other three fields. I have most of my special trees and animals in the Glade so I can pull the rest without it leaving me too short of the good stuff.

Hi!

With no stars, I'll be going for a completed CR and nothing else. I think BP is hoping to drag the lack of stars issue out for long enough that it becomes the new (and community-accepted) status quo.
