More than 3500 died due to repeated earth quake in Nepal. Many folds of that number are injured and many folds of that number are under the rubles. Mass cremation is done to prevent spreading of epidemics. People stay in open aired streets as their home have gone and also due to repeated earthquakes. Treatment is given in the streets because of this reason and also as the hospitals cannot hold such a lot of people. Water has become scarce and rains are also predicted. Hope relief and support reaches them quickly and they recover from their loss and shock.

Unfortunately due to the magnitude of the earth quake, from now on a few years will be many earth quakes, especially this and next year  They're stress and shock will not end... will be always in they're mind and soul. Same was in Italy. I visited Italy after 3 years from that big earth quake. Then I felt 3 earth quakes (small) too. And I was shocked to walk between ruins....:cry:
I feel so bad for Nepal people. They need straight from now on. I pray for them.

A couple of my colleagues went to Nepal last week to trek to Everest base camp. Luckily their flight was cancelled due to bad weather, so they were still in Kathmandu when the quake struck rather than on the mountains, but still very scary for them.

It is Bank Holiday Weekend so of course the weather is wet, misty and cold. We lit the Log Burner for the first time in a month! I feel so sorry for all the holiday makers and the garden centres.

It is a beautiful day here! The sun is out and the temps are going to be high 70s and low 80s. Gentle breeze. Perfect for being outside. Going for a walk with the dogs as soon as I harvest spooky crops....Wish I could share the sun with all those with rainy and cold days.

For such a small country we have very diverse weather but, yes, we do get quite a lot of rain. We don't really have very dry areas. Cornwall is wet because it juts out into the Atlantic and gets the brunt of the weather systems. It is also very beautiful - if you get a chance watch Poldark, new TV series which shows how lovely the coastline is or just google Cornwall. Our main problem is that we don't get a 'rainy season', we just never know when rain will come, even the weather forecasters often get it wrong!

I see. Cornwall is so beautiful! I will like to visit someday with my husband. He will love there because is beautiful, close to the see (he love see food) and it's not a hot place. Here in summer the heat is serious problem for us. But I like the heat ;)

I live in a city where it rains a lot, and I mean a lot :sleepy: The autumn when I moved here, it rained each day every day for over 80 days in a row (it was a new record). But when the weather is nice it is fantastic, and we somehow forget all the rain. Spring can be beautiful, and it is right now. The sakura trees are in full blossom (somehow they like the climate here) and the flowers for the 17th of May (our national day) are blooming :inlove: But it is not very warn yet, see the snow in the far background :p

Very pretty! It has been raining here in Texas for days and is forecast for at least the next week. Bring on the flash flood season!
