I'm finding that I have to do lots of rearranging for every event not just MM.

My basic is to have stables and trees in the Magical Glade for the EP bonus and the fact that I always water stables, I don't always water crops. The trees are there for the EP but also because they make good gap fillers and only need to be harvested once or twice a day at the most. The exception to this are chicken coops I keep those in the meadow as they need to be harvested frequently through the day so I want them where I will see them often.

I keep the main farm for crops only and the majority of the meadow space for crops and try to turn both of them as soon as they are ready. I have the advantage of working from home so I can check in often to do quick crop rotations. This seems to work the best for me overall but everyone is different.

That Harvester Sub is looking very tempting. I've used up a lot of the ones found in the FSQ's already. What happens if you have the subscription and then get harvester rewards? Is it just basically negated by the fact you already have the function active? That does not seem quite fair if that is what happens.

Well harvester rewards that go active immediately are just tacked onto the end of whatever time is left on a current subscription. The coupons that you get from some FSQs and the wheel spins are not activated until you click on them and follow through with the activation. They are nice to keep in reserve in case an event comes along and you've run out of subscription, etc.

thnx dafodily, if i could go back i would never have opened an artisan trade. i have spent very little time looking into artisan products, once i decide to get more involved with events i will take the time to see what might be best. right now im concentrating on making cc, slowly figuring out what best to grow, be it crops or animals or trees.

    thnx cassiopeia,
i have seen 2 mm to date, participated a little in the first one and ignored the second, i will get involved with events eventually, there are so many. when i login im usually on for a few hours at a time so tearing things down and building it back up is not a big deal. what else can i put but trees in the 1x1 left over spaces in the glade? 40 stables plus the few trees around the edges. as for water, @ 1cc/water it basically is free everywhere. i dont worry about the few hundred cc i might spend for water a day.
i meant the mill subscription, very hard to keep up with all the feed im going through. no time to mill pf. i do buy some feed as it is cheaper to buy than grow myself but not all. i will even buy it at a small premium if it saves me hours at the mill. if i find a crop that can out perform chickens at the market i will keep the main farm growing crops.

im sure this will all change once i start to run out of fsq and have to rely on events.

I had no idea there was free water in the glade - I popped all my stables there!

    Chris_2_4,

I put my stables & trees in the Magical Glade 1st, the extra EP is great & I'll water the stables and not feel like I wasted it if I don't/can't harvest right away. The highest level stable/workshop you can place in the Glade will give you the most benefit. I only take them out when I'm focusing on growing crops.

I see there is another moonlight time coming soon (MM?) - would the wise amongst your share your best practices for those of us who seem to be dancing around the bonfire in our birthday suits but getting few evil results from it? :)

Just a few observations on the G&T day:

Is anyone else completely freaked out by the gold leaf tree? About the second time I went back to the field where it was I decided it had to be moved. I ended up sticking it behind some other trees and a horse stable so all I can see are the leaves.

Why the heck is there not an orchard area designated for trees only? I'm so positive that idea has been suggested so many times before I'm not even going to bother to look.

I was able to dump a couple of "decoration" only items in the merchant sales area. One of them was worth 4800CC, why I have no idea it was a 2x2 pond that did absolutely nothing but take up space. Why does this stuff even exist?

Is there anything more exciting than getting new stuff even if it is someone else's old stuff? You know what they say one man's trash is another man's treasure. Are tag sales (garage, yard or whatever you might call them) popular in other countries besides the US?

I hope the two new players I found to gift egg farms, apple and plum trees to enjoyed them. I certainly meant well in sending them and it's hard to gift someone when you can only send them items available at their level.

What a great day I hope everyone else had a good one and got lots of wonderful surprises. :D

im holding my head with both hands trying to stop it from spinning. today is like the final hurrah at a fireworks.
G&T, -50% market, renzo fair, some event going to start. in the past hour ive had to walk away twice, info overload first thing in the morning. time for a smoke and a shot of brandy.
now back to re ranging my fields with all the wonderful gifts people have sent me. more work for the mill  thats what we are missing, mill subscription offer, better make sure i save some bb for that.

So I see we're having a half price sale on things you buy with BBs today. Recipes. I bought the carrot bread one. But, is the cheese balls recipe worth 50BB? What about the Guava Jam? I'm on the fence about those two.

The Carrot Bread is definitely worth it. I personally don't think the other two you mentioned are worth it but a lot depends on your playing style. Check the items out in your market. See if they seem to be selling for a good price and selling regularly. Do you use them yourself? If they just stay on the market, are cheap to buy and you hardly or never use them, then don't buy the recipe.

They are in the Supply store (far left brown roofed building) - click on the right-most tab labeled Crafting Trade.

im on the fence about the carrot bread, i know it is very good to have. i have limited bb cause i dont buy them. i have bought a few 1x2 deco items for the park and spending a few on orange chicken pens. im leaning towards more chicken pens than the carrot bread.

    Thank you sewinglady!
feelfree2win I think you shouldn't spend your precious BB for the carrot bread since you can buy it with CC.

From which production pen can you get snorkels and golden moustache?

Snorkels are platypus. Moustaches are cuckoo. The snorkel pen is at the end of the FSQ, "Guess Who?". The Moustaches were limited from a cuckoo event but since there will soon be another event and permanent quests, they may be soon available in other ways.

The moustaches and cuckoos were from that Comix#8 quest, I think? I decided to skip that one. Still don't regret that decision...

Anyone whacking away at Renzo's Fair? I'm trying to decide if I should go for the nightmare egg this time. It means playing a lot of mach-o-meter for me...

Who can get to Renzo's? I'm with feelfree2win my head is spinning there is so much stuff going on. I've finally sorted through stuff figured out where to stuff some trees in and looked at the requirements for the new event. I really only need to raise some pigs and have bees and cows to sell and then worry about the drops and growing the crops. Crazy and chaotic, just gotta love it. xD

well I stopped by the forums, saw the FAQ was up for the next event. Oh my. Bees. I don't have enough bees, not even with my lovely pink beehive. So I'm pulling up stables as fast as they finish and plunking down hives and pig sties. Got a good price on cow's milk at the market, so I'm set there. whew.
