Oh that's terrible. My sincere condolences. I did something similar but not nearly as bad. I was clicking to see how many GB's it would take to open the next room in the temple on Baha. Instead of closing the screen I hit the green check and well there was my decision made for me. Not as bad as losing bb's though.

So sorry for both farmerlily and LDCrow. It is hard to lose either BB or GB especially when you don't mean the purchase. Perhaps contacting support to see if they can help you when they realize it was truly a mistake? Won't hurt to ask....

 

I noticed the other day I had 'bought' 4 cloud rows by mistake. So easy to do.

 

I feel much better this morning, seeing how others made the same mistake, we all have a story don't we? Thank you all for briefly attending my "whoa is me" party...I sure felt like crying lol! Happy Day and good luck with the event

farmerlily22, there is still some hope with the cloud rows you purchased. They should be un-themed which means you can ask your neighbors to send you Wilson (seasonal gift) for the 1x1s, shop at the pirate's cove for deals on water tanks (1x1) to purchase for a few CCs, trade in MM crops in Jack's Shop for 1x2s (see MM Mini Event FAQs for list), go back to pirate's cove to shop for deals on inactive volcanoes (2x2). These and a few deco items you get as rewards in some of the FSQs (Farmer's Society Quests) that are not needed for themed cloud rows will help you fill those inadvertent purchases. Then those cloud rows will have a silver (CC) lining!

 

Thats a great idea , and I will start today! No time like the present, right? Off to see what our neighborhood pirate has to offer up today...(cheap!)

oops... asked my friends to send "beach clubs" for clouds, and they are not allowed...who knew? Yet I do have some goodies from my forum buddies that are presently floating along in the sky and turning my little mishap (of the day!) into my good fortune!

I'm like Neddy38 - forgot to nom the CAC before I harvested first thing this morning. Remembered before I harvested the last of the three areas...no wonder I'm worried about getting this event completed. I think I'll make it by the skin of my teeth.

 

Where to even begin...so many mistakes so little time.

I've done the math wrong 3 different times when calculating how much more to plant. I keep forgetting to take into account how much seed I'm using so I keep ending up short. What I thought would be the final planting of the gentians wasn't because I forgot to use the PJ I set aside before I harvested it. I used the seeder function to apply SG instead of doing it manually and wasted about 50 units on plants that had less then 10 min left before harvesting.

Through it all though it still looks as though I will finish the entire event.

Everyone likes to have a zone where they can vent and complain without judgement! My turn...Muahahahahah!

Ok...so here it is, I have an account that's on a market where the price of chickens is being driven up from an average price to almost double that price because someone is acquiring a lot of it. Now I sold over a thousand at the highest price I could get instead of my usual price and they sold like *snap*. So I logged into my main account (this one) today and saw hundreds of chickens listed at just above the usual price I see! (the average is about the same for both markets) Immediately my brain thinks (awesome, buy it at normal price and sell way higher) and it tells my mouse to start buying...and I get about 300K worth of chickens before I realize I am in the account that DOESN'T have someone buying up all the chickens at a high price... I'm like *facepalm* I re-listed at the best price I could and made almost all my money back...lost about 40K. Just glad I didn't keep buying!

That's the end right? WRONG! It got worse when I looked back at the chicken prices AFTER I sold my newly acquired stock at LESS than I paid for...and guess what? The only time it has happened, but someone HAD bought up the chickens up to a high price - almost the same as the other market! All that time I could have sold those 100's at a profit I thought I couldn't make!

I'll make sure not to do that again!

 

Since the event started I wanted to complete the mission that gives harvest helper, before harvest the farm... but always forget to make the mission first. I finely did it now

 

Hang onto the chooks griff .... i think some are needed for a up coming event hence the price in the market going up .... i just cant remember what event or why ... been so many of late i get all confused ....

 

Just harvested 2 fields of Barley - wondered why I planted it - oh yeah, for the drops for MM .
Then harvested my last round of edelweiss - 1 short to finish the event Fortunately had enough time to blast a 1x1 with sg and several buffs.

 

Lol chookie, I didn't punch the event all smart and methodical like our dearest and most experienced Froggie did... but I got all the quests I wanted done. For the last quest with the Orion stables I had everything except 87 edelweiss! If you had only 1 left to do, you could have finished it with BB. I am sure it would have only been one or two.
